Yesterday was my first time coming here with a friend. I haven't gotten my nails done in awhile so was excited. Anyways we get there at 6:30 they close 8:00pm. The lady asked us to sign in and she would call us when they are ready. First impressions walking in I love the decor. I loved that it was extra fancy and inviting. They called us back at 7:12pm. We asked for a 30 min pedicure for $30, we were also getting our fingers done after. We asked if they would have enough time and they assured us that we were fine on time. That was the end of any communication really after that. Overall it felt rushed. I understand we went an hour and half before closing but they still charged us the full price for a 15 min pedicure. So that was annoying. My nails came out fine but my friends nail already peeled off. read more

Yesterday was my first visit to this nail salon. I arrived a few minutes after 12 noon after it had opened. The employees were already working on customers. I was 2nd in the waiting line. A few of the rest of the employees showed up late (it seemed) to work. The late employees were trying to scramble and get situated. I went in for a basic manicure & pedicure. My male nail technician didn't speak much English. He wasn't very gentle with my pedicure. Quite honestly, I'm not sure if he was a licensed nail technician. Anyhow, I really wasn't impressed with his skills. Otherwise he was pleasant. He also did my manicure. The salon was so busy by 1:30pm (thanksgiving week coming up). The female salon employee was turning down walk-in customers that wanted nail services. By 2:05pm the place was close to being caught up on customers in waiting area. I also want to add that some of the employees small children were in the salon being disruptive and interruptive. I don't think it's professional to have your small children at work while you are working on customers. I read on other yelp reviews about beverages offered here, I was never offered one. I did see a customer with a flute of champagne or something. I'm not sure if I will be a repeat customer. read more

I decided I would try Paris bc it's really beautiful and clean inside A friend recommended Lucy but she wasn't available I had Angela for a new acrylic set. My daughter had Leo for SNS. We arrived an hour before they were due to start their Christmas party and so I felt like things were rushed. I agree with some other comments that the people looked tired and unhappy. There was little to no small talk. My daughter said Leo was very short with her almost barking at her his instructions. Angela was professional but not personable. Did I have too high expectations? I was expecting to be offered some type of drink after I sat down and to have a friendly conversation and be pampered a little. I will try one more time and see. read more

I recently relocated to Martinez from Florida and have been in search of a new nail salon to call home, AND I HAVE FOUND IT! This place is almost magical! The decor is immaculate! I actually don't have a single complaint about this establishment. I walked in and was immediately greeted by staff and was serviced right away. So this nail shop is pretty new in town. It's only been open for about three weeks. The decor is so fabulous! The chandelier adds bling and everything is white. You can tell that a lot of thought was put into the interior decor. It has a super glam girly feel. They offer complimentary beverages: water, wine and sodas. The free drinks are definitely a great touch. You'll feel like you're in a high end nail salon. The guy that did my nails was great! My gel manicure turned out phenomenal. It was my first time here and I went in for a gel manicure. My manicurist rushed through the whole thing and said nothing to me the whole time. Now, a week later my gel is already peeling off. Came to get a manicure + pedicure on Wednesday. Manicure had bubbles and the nail tech filed the tips after applying red which made them look messy, and then was upset when I asked them to correct it. Paid $90+ tip and they are chipping on the edges. Throughout the service they pushed me to get nail designs so that I would pay more. The pedicure also had bubbles and ripples and entire sections have peeled off, with the first layer still being wet. The nail tech started painting before drying me off and did not wait to let the nails fully cure and she saw the rippling but did not correct it. They were $60+ tip. Both nail techs rushed throughout my appointment and I left extremely disappointed. The front desk service was nice however. The price should have guaranteed decent service but that was not the case. Service was incredible before but it seems like quality isn't the priority here, which sucks because this was the best nail salon in the area. read more

Where to begin...............the design of this salon is amazing. It's beautifully architectural design allows a huge work space for multiple services to commence. Enough about the appearance. There's a kind receptionist waiting to assist you the moment you enter. I came in for a pedicure service. I didn't schedule an appointment but I hardly had to wait to be service. There are several options for a pedicure which allows the clients to chose what's their preference in services. They offer gel polish for pedicures which is a plus. My nail tech was professional. Very disappointed with their service. I went in to get a fill in, of the gel with acrylic overlay. I am from out of town and every other nail salon I have visited, I have always stated I need a fill in of gel. The woman who did my nails, proceeded to take my tips off of my nails and round off my natural nail. She put a gel polish on and then, finished me up. I had never seen it done this way before but, assumed the gel was hardening to create the same effect, as the acrylic overlay, with gel polish. Well, my nails felt very thin and in only a couple of hours started splitting. The next morning, I went back to the salon to have them fix their mistake, where I was told they were going to charge me to take off the gel polish and have to charge for a full set, when I had originally gone in with a full set, and just needed a fill in. The lady at the desk said, It wasn't her techs mistake but, my mistake for not saying Gel overlay instead of "just gel"! So, in two days, they were going to charge me over $100 and not even fix the nails they had weakened enough to start splitting and left them paper thin. Very disappointed! I made an appointment for a few friends and I to get manis and pedis. When we arrived, they didn't have our reservation. After waiting for 45 minutes, I got the worst pedicure of my life. Not only was it painful but the man made my toe bleed. The paint job was mediocre and I had to request that he re-due some of my nails. My manicure was fine (the only reason why I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1). The next day, I woke up and my toe was infected. In addition to all of this, the customer service was poor. First time at Paris and loved it!!! I walked in on Friday at 11am and was helped immediately. By far the nicest salon I've ever been to! The piano player played disney tunes while I got a French gel mani! Update: it's been two weeks and I am not very satisfied with how this manicure held up. Usually my gel lasts 3-3.5 weeks. The Tuesday after I got these done my pointer finger started to peel on the edge. Now it's been two weeks and my thumb is missing a chunk and that finger has come off completely on the end... Probably once of the worst experiences I've ever had at a nail salon, I sat down to get a pedicure and was easily done in 15 minutes (when I paid for a 30 minute pedicure) they guy who did my pedicure rushed through my pedicure the entire time, did not clean up any of my cuticles (I had to go home and do them myself) he "sanded" my feet and left these harsh patches on the bottom of my feet, he barely filed my toes (they're all uneven) and when I asked for another coat of paint on my toes (because he only did one) he straight up ignored me and did the top coat and put my sandals on... I'm NOT one to do yelp reviews at all, but I just had to do this one, I will NOT go back and pay $45 again for a pedicure I could do better at home!! Everything was clean and sanitary: wore gloves, tub liners, New nail files/buffers/pumice stone (saw them throw away after each use), tools in New sanitation packets which i appreciate and would give 5/5 stars if based solely on that. Price is a bit expensive for the services I received. I got the basic mani and 2nd tier pedi. My cuticles were not fully trimmed and the massage was quite short. It's peaceful, but workers don't look like they enjoy talking to clients. No smiles or how are you? Hospitality is a little lacking from what I saw. The lady who did my nails just didn't seem to care what she was doing but I went here yesterday and my SO and I both got pedicures and I got a manicure. We took advantage of the complimentary glass of wine. (Yum!) perfect touch to a mani pedi day! The two woman that did our feet were awesome and very social. It's always nice when you're not sitting there awkwardly in silence. One was names Angela and I'm not sure the other woman's name but both super sweet and very good at what they do. I then got a manicure and gel polish color #30. The gentleman that did it did very well. My cuticles didn't bleed, he didn't cut my nails too short, it was overall a perfect trip. This place is beautiful! I never would've thought there was a place like this in Augusta - marble floors, granite countertops, coffee bar. If you're looking for a very nice spa day, this place is it. And it's huge so I imagine with advanced booking they could accommodate large parties (they even have a princess area for younger customers). I got the 60 min hot stone pedicure because I wanted a pamper day - reasonably priced, the girl was very thorough, and all the products smelled great. I like to get pedicures for the long massage and this one has it all: body scrub, lotion, hot stone. The only thing that would make it better is if they offered wine/champagne. Okay, I really want to love any place that offers you a free glass of wine. And while my experience was not bad, it wasn't as good as what I've had at some other locations in town. A friend recommended Paris to me and recommended the SNS nail treatment. I called and made an appointment for two manicures, one SNS nail treatment and one gel nail manicure. The technician was professional but not particularly friendly, and this was my first experience where I've had a technician who was not gentle. When I got home, I was bleeding. He cut my nails, and the length across the board is not quite even- but I'm the only one who will probably notice. The other thing I thought was strange was that after he had applied my gel manicure, he filed my nails. My nails look very nice, but I'm concerned that my manicure won't last quite as long as it normally does, which is 12-14 days. I paid for both my gel manicure and my friend's SNS, and with tip it was $100. That's the most I've ever paid for two people. There are a couple other locations in town I may try before I head back to Paris. read more

This was my first visit and will certainly be my last. We went for a pedicure and manicure. We opted for the natural pedicure which was a step up from a regular pedicure. We did not receive what we paid for for starters. We received basic pedicures which would of cost $17 not the $35 ones we actually paid for. My nail tech could not understand anything I was saying along with the fact that he had no experiance, couldn't even tell me the differences between the services. When he sat me down for my manicure I asked a question and he just walked off and never came back I kept asking the other nail tech beside me while she was doing my aunts nails and she just kept ignoring me. After sitting there for 30 minutes I finally got up and went to talk to the girl at the front desk. In doing so this got me no where. She finally got me another nail tech named kelly who was not friendly, had a bad attitude and rushed the job. Needless to say we never got the deluxe manicures we kept stating we wanted instead we recieved basic manicures and our nails look horrible and are already chipping after one day. This being due to the fact that she barely put two coats of polish on. The salon was clean and atmosphere nice but that's all this place has going for it. Over priced, inexperienced nail techs and rude staff. PSA: if you do attempt Paris Nail & Spa I would stay away from Kelly doing your nails. You will regret it. Day 3 and all the paint is chipping off. I'm now having to go and get it all redone by an actual professional. Also if you leave a bad review of this business on there Facebook they allow the employees to harass you just as Kelly Truong has done! read more

I wasn't sure what I was expecting when my friends decided to get a pedicure. I was getting ready to graduate and decided a little "treat myself" kind of thing for working so hard. I walked in and was stunned! This place is beautiful and has so much helpful staff everywhere. As you walk in, the right side has all the color selection and to the left there's a bar. There's chandeliers everywhere and just looks high end. The service was quick and we were quickly seated when my party arrived. I picked the $27 pedicure, which was 27 minutes. The man that I had started on me but suddenly wasn't feeling good and had to leave (which was completely okay, I hope he feels better). One star for effort and because there's a minimum. I had the worst experience there, atmosphere was horrible not relaxing felt rushed when I got a bit of assistance from a tech. I felt neglected during my pedicure, poor communication and was often left confused , and upset because no one can understand what I wanted to was a simple pedicure with rhinestones , after almost two hours of being there my shaping was wrong and was told it cannot be fixed by the won't who gave me two different shapes and the manager . It was only until I suggested they add a bit of acrylic to even put the shaping , it wasn't that hard how can you suggest to just do polish when it's two different shapes and THEY than told me that oh they cannot out the two rhinestones on my big toe because it won't stay ........ after I've selected and went over my design . I was never given information about lashes after what felt like begging for the information. I can say more but I would of thought the most reviewed nail place would not of given such a horrible distasteful experience but they did . Don't go there if you want a relaxing atmosphere and want to be heard as far as the services you are looking for . I wish I never stepped foot in there and spent a CENT . I would advise to call them on weekend if you want to be sure to get in. The place is clean and beautiful. They have four sections for pedicures. I did simple mani and pedi. My nail artist was polite and very good at the job. They played classical music. I never had that before. They serve you mimosa if you choose. I'm going to be back for mani pedi in future. read more
