This is a clean and atheistically beautiful salon in a nice shopping center in Augusta. One of the first things that I noticed was that they use plastic liners in the foot spa tubs to keep them clean. I thought that was such a good idea! The liners are thrown out after every use. The staff was so attentive and made sure my foot spa was warm enough, that I had something to drink, and made sure I was comfortable while waiting. I opted for the $40 pedicure. They have different kinds and vary in price. The lady who did my pedicure really took her time and made me feel really relaxed on a Friday afternoon after work. The whole salon was very clean. Came in with a group of 4 girls. With a SCHEDULE APPOINTMENT! And it's took us 4 hours to get done. Sat for 30 minutes waiting for someone to do our toes and then after they made us wait another hour and a half before they got to our finger nails. While getting our nails done they tried to make us feel like the idiots asking if we checked in correctly, WHICH WE DID!! Also they were allowing walk in to go before us even though one lady knew we were scheduled for both. On top of that they rushed through our treatments and made us pay full price for things we didn't receive. A relaxing time turned into a grumpy one with this place. read more

Paris has a great atmosphere. I took my mom and we got pedicures. The people who work there aren't exactly the chatty-friendly type but they aren't mean. They do give a mean foot and half massage :) upon check out, there was a line of people who were waiting, but the place was busy! Drinks were offered. It was a good time. I got Voesh's(sp?) deluxe pedicure and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the foot and leg massage that was included in the service. I chose the lemon scented treatment and it was very refreshing. LOVE this place! I just moved here and came across this place when I was doing some shopping at Whole Foods. Walked in on a Friday and was told to pick out a color and they would be with me shortly. I only waited maybe 5-10 mins but was told they can get busy on the weekends. Art did both my pedicure and gel manicure, and he was amazing! I am so in love with both my mani & pedi. I will definitely be back and definitely make my next visit with Art! He was so friendly and did a beautiful job, even better than where I went back home in Austin! He told me a lot about Augusta and where to go, which was also very nice. Don't hesitate to make your appointment here, you won't regret it! The inside is so relaxing and really beautiful. I was seated almost immediately and was told to choose a color. Once I had chosen a color someone got to work right away. He was very pleasant. He did not talk much, but I'm not very social either, so it was a good fit. The atmosphere was wonderful. The air didn't smell like most nail salons which was wonderful. The original color I picked they didn't have, so I had to choose another. Not a big deal. Once done he led me to the area to dry my nails. I was not told when I was done, not a big deal either, I just touched my nails to make sure they were dry and turned off the vents and went to the front to pay. I would recommend this place highly. I just moved to the area from out of state. I went to Paris Nails after reading reviews and decided to try them out. I went exactly 1 week and 1 day ago. I got a pedicure and a fill in with gel polish. Today I had to go to a different salon that charged half the price for much better results. I'll start with the pedicure. The girl would not cut my toenails like I asked her to. I had to tell her 4 times to cut my nails shorter and she still didn't do it. She did not trim the dead skin around the toe nails either nor did she do the dead skin scrub on the bottom of my feet. My pedicure and nails were done 2 wks prior so it's not like there was a lot to be done. Now for the fill in. The guy was in such a rush to get it done that he even tried to send me along my way w/out my nails being dry. 1 wk into my fill ins, I could scrape the gel polish off with little to no effort and one of my nails just broke mid way!!! With my previous nails I had packed, moved and unpacked a 1500 sq ft house moving 4 states away and didn't even get a paint chip. With these people after 1 week not only is the paint scraping off but the nails are breaking as well!!! I also got my eyebrows done while I was there ($12) and I have to say that that is the ONLY thing that I'm satisfied with. I will NEVER go here again and don't recommend it to anyone. For a pedicure, fill in with gel, and eyebrow wax it was $137.00!!!!! I went to a different salon today to fix what they messed up and had wonderful service as well as great jobs done on both my feet and my nails. They took their time and did it right and beautiful and I paid $67.00 including the price to fix a damaged nail. The quality of work from the young lady and young man who did my pedicure and fill in at Paris Nails was terrible!!!! The man did a fill in, shape and gel polish in less than 20 minutes!!! This place is way overpriced for the terrible outcome of my nails. The only good thing that came out of this experience is that I found a great nail salon to go to on a regular basis now. read more

I've been to many nail salons but nothing came close to Paris Nail Salon!!! This place is fantastic!! My nails are done perfectly and the S&S nail application is so superior to any other nails. Not only are the colors gorgeous but there's so many to choose from. They easily last 3 weeks and are so much more realistic than old nail tip /gel color. Instead of a thick looking nail that is so obvious as it grows out, these are thin and just look like you've painted your perfection shaped nails. Eric does my manicure perfectly; quick yet not rushed. Pedicures by different people each time and always good. If you're tired of going to a nail salon and having this happen: You ask for mani/pedi and they put you in the pedi bath only to sit and be stuck for almost an hour while they finish all the other people. How can you leave when your feet are wet . I used to dread "having" to go get my nails done and put it off until I couldn't stand my nails looking so bad ! It always took so long and I never knew if they were goi g to be busy even if I had an appointment I'd end up waiting because my nail tech was finishing someone else. Here if you have an appointment they are ready for you and no waiting. The owner obviously has business skills and has taken the nail salon to another level. Top service, top atmosphere, top talent. Very nice looking establishment but the instruments are NOT actually sterilized, they are only placed in the sterilization bags. The nail tech, Michael, was not good. The coats were not applied evenly/entirely over each other. Ever since the nail tech I was consistently going to here left I've had a bad experience each time. Most of the other nail techs don't really speak to you and it's overpriced. The last time I went I got SNS, days later it chipped so I went up to the shop to get it fixed. The same lady who was at the front saw me when I came to get them done and made a big deal about me trying to get ONE nail fixed. They asked for the receipt I showed them on my phone, as if that wasn't enough they went on to ask me what time I came in and who did it like Im suppose to remember off the top of my head. So 30 minutes! 30. go by and they finally call me to get this one nail fixed and this guy come and does it, he didn't speak or anything. He had an attitude like I did something to him, he rushed and fixed the nail in a sloppy way and my nail wasn't even the same shape as my other ones. Definitely don't recommend here. Customer service is big priority when it comes to a business and this shop definitely needs to work on that for ALL paying customers. read more

I have come to this salon four times now. The first time I got acrylics, and they were amazing. Stayed for almost a month. The second time I got a fill in, and it was horrible quality. Barely even lasted a week. Took a chance and came back a third time because the salon and staff are so nice. Got SNS the third time, and I had three nails break completely off in under two weeks. Took a chance one more time and got SNS this last time, and I had two nails chip and one break completely off while I was scratching my neck only FOUR days after getting my manicure. Called ahead about them fixing my nails, and they said they could take me. Once I arrived I waited almost an hour for them to fix my nails. The prices are too high here for the quality of the nails you get, so I will not be coming back. read more

I went in for the first time this past Saturday, I'm not sure if they were just rushing or this is their normal work. Less than one week after getting a gel manicure my polish started to chip, I now have chips on five of my nails. I almost always keep gel polish on my nails. And I say almost because there are times where I don't have the time to go in and I go a week between the 2 -3 weeks it should last. I have never had the polish chip this quickly. I can also see near my cuticle the polish curling up, as if the polish wasn't sealed fully on some nails. I'm sure it too will start to chip off or peel off if it gets caught on anything(the worst this is washing my hair and having it get caught under raised gel polish). I will credit the look of the salon, it was very nice and the staff was friendly. The girl at the front desk helped me find the color I wanted because I only knew the name of it, not the number. However, I won't be back. When I pay $45 for a manicure I expect it to last longer than a week. read more

The only reason they got one star was because i walked in and was seated almost immediately (i did call ahead to see if appt was needed w covid) but i should've taken no customers as a sign. I get acrylic nails regularly, so i know what good nails look like. I typically get coffin i just think that shape suits my hand well. Well the first thing is that every single nail is a different length, let alone even close to a coffin shape. The technician seemed so lost, her bead was almost 100% liquid and was running off my nails so i now have dried acrylic on my cuticle line and skin! Every single nail is a different length and a different shape. If i hold my left hand to my right hand it's such a large difference i am actually embarrassed. I have had a lot if bad experiences but I have never left a salon crying, first time for everything. THEN i showed a picture of a design and asked if this was even doable, the girl immediately says yes and then asked a coworker to show her how to do it and then she still couldn't do it right, she could've said no and i could've gotten just a solid color, not to mention she kept checking her watch every 5 seconds. I would take them off tonight except it was $75 and i would hate to waste that much money. Save yourself a trip and do not come here, highly disappointing!! read more

I was a huge fan for quite some time, but as with most businesses the service has seemed to deteriorate with their expansion. My last trip ended with me having two complete different colors on my hands and feet, despite choosing a "matching polish set." I also slipped on a puddle of water and had to catch myself. I was willing to pay the higher price for PN&S when they had such great service, but I was not leaving a salon paying $70+ for services I was unhappy with. The owner, Mimi, offered a $5 discount and said, "Well did you actually fall?" Tonight, I had an appointment for a pedicure. My nail tech ran over his previous appointment and the receptionist had me wait at a pedicure station. At 8pm (1 hour past appointment time) the receptionist informs me that my nail tech wants to go home after he finishes his client because they close at 8. Ridiculous! read more

I have been 4 times. They do a pretty good job but it is dependent on the nail tech. I had an older lady last time and she did not do a great job. Will try to avoid her if I can. They are always slammed with customers. Even if you make an appointment, you will not be seen at your scheduled time. Appointments mean nothing. I've tried twice and each time it was over 30 minutes before I was seen. Walk-ins seem to work better if you have a flexible schedule and can go when they aren't that busy. And if you wait, they will tell you 10-15 minutes but I've seen people sitting around and waiting an hour before getting to a chair. I have cut them some slack because they are new, but it's time to have those kinks worked out. If a client makes an appointment, she should be seen at that time. They're not cheap but I will pay more for the environment and it is nice. I have not seen consistency in their techs yet and that's concerning. With my last gel nail, they lasted one week. I've had them last up to two weeks prior to that (another reason I will avoid the older lady who was new last time I was in.) Saw someone get the SNS dip/powder last time so I will give that a try next time. Still hoping they improve their service so I can give them a better rating because it is a really nice salon in a good location and I want to see it succeed! read more

This place is very pretty and USUALLY they do a great job with nails, but their business practices leave something to be desired. I went one day and chose the same polish I usually used, and my nails did not turn out well. The manicurist blamed the polish rather than trying to correct anything. He also told me to make same-day appointments rather than waiting 45 minutes. I called one day at 8am to make an appointment for 6pm and the lady on the phone told me same day appointments were not allowed. It seems like their employees are not on the same page about their policies. Additionally, the hours on the door and website note a closing time of 8pm. I arrived at 7:15pm and they told me they were too busy to take additional customers. I feel that they should have a close time of 7pm if they want to be completely done and go home by 8pm. A third experience I had was having my nails done by a lady who was extremely angry that she worked long hours; she complained about her job the entire time! As I mentioned before, nails are usually done well (8 out of 10 times), but there are plenty of nail places in Augusta that can do just a good a job without the shady practices and policies. read more

Let me start by confessing that I HATE going to the nail salon! - always have. I have been unlucky at finding that one place with just the right mix of great customer service, consistently good manis/pedis and decent pricing. I can't say that I've found my new nail home, BUT the experience was such that I'm certain I will make a second trip. Pros: very nice surroundings, clean pearl white floors, clean white salon chairs, chandeliers hanging from ceiling but yet doesn't feel like too much. Big plus for disposable coverings for the feet spa! Was in and out within 2 hours ( got spa pedicure/ manicure and brows done). I paid $75 for services plus customary 20% tip. Choices for type/ and length of spa pedicure. A beverage was offered, which I think is a nice touch. The leg/feet and hand massages were great and by far the BEST part of my visit. Cons: My technician was professional enough, but not what I would call 'friendly' probably because his English was not very good. He and I had a dialogue about if I wanted regular polish versus gel polish- I ended up telling him to just use regular but I guess he didn't understand me because he got up and brought back the gel polish. And like I've seen in another post, it was my experience as well that the gel color sample that I did discuss with him was a very different shade from the actual gel when applied. BTW this is my first review EVER, thank you guys so much for posting about your experiences as it really helped me make a decision. I hope mine will contribute to helping someone as well.
