I have family that lives in this area and thought this was the same place I went to a few years ago. Definitely wasn't. Place is kind of dingy. Pedicure was just okay and another tech did my no-chip (they kept calling it "shellac") mani. He put on 3 layers of the polish because it didn't come out as good the first 2 times! I had some old polish he didn't wipe off. I got some lint on my thumb nail, and he just wiped it off with his finger and probably wiped off the basecoat also. He said it'd still be okay. Let's see how long this mani lasts! Someone previously mentioned them not catering to AAs. This is true. A lady walked in and her family followed inside eventually. No one acknowledged them at all. I will NEVER go there an again!!! This was my first time I went to have facial hair removed, I don't have a lot of facial hair, mostly concerned with my lip and chin. She (she never told me her name) quoted once price when I came in and higher price when I went back to the waxing room. Over the phone she said she had to see first. I ended up paying $57. That's is ridiculous!!!! She talked in the phone the whole time and it only took her 10minutes or less to wax me.... I do not recommend this place at all!!!! There's no set price. Made an appointment for my Moms birthday at 11:00am, arrived at 11:05, told them we had an appointment for 11:00, waited till 11:45 for them to seat us, got started at 12:00pm, took FORVER to get one mani and one pedi done, probably not leaving till 1:45pm. That's 2 hours and 45 minutes at one nail salon for only 2 people. 1st off, In my 7 years of getting nails done at nail salons, we should be in and out in an hour and a half at the latest. 2nd off, if a customer makes an appointment 24 hours in advance, they should be seated and serviced right away. The service was good, my pedicure was very relaxing and my Mom enjoyed her dip manicure. But if you are planning to come here, call in advance and specify very clearly that you would like to be seated and serviced right away at your appointment time so that you don't have to wait an hour like we did. read more

Stopped here for the first time today to get a manicure and pedicure, and had a great experience. The staff is very friendly, and everything is very sanitary! The pedicure bowls are lined with a disposable bag, all of the tools they use are packaged and disposed of after they are used, and everyone wore gloves. My nails were is sorry shape, and they took a lot of time on my service to ensure they looked good and I was happy. Definitely recommend Paris Nails! read more

I feel bad leaving 1 star reviews, but I feel as though I should share my experience here. The customer service was alright, nothing to write home about. I've been getting dip power on my natural nails for over 2 years now, I travel for work & badly needed to get my nails done so I made an appointment. They took me right away. The woman who did my nails, filed them down first before letting them soak- at first I was confused bc these were my real nails, but I trusted she knew what she was doing. In the last 2 years, I'd just get my nails wrapped & soak without any filing. It actually started to burn the electric file was so hot on my nails. I told her this. I got wrapped & soaked for a little bit more filing. She cut my nails as I had wanted. Then put 2 coats of dip & the activator. After the activator, she used an off brand (different from the dip maker) as a top coat, except my nails were ALL BURNING like a chemical reaction had occurred. I didn't want to continue I just wanted to leave in all honesty. They stoped burning after a few minutes but I told her no more of the top coat as it made the activator literally burn all my nails, it really hurt & was so hot! I paid left the salon. Not even 2 days later, I had 2 broken nails. She filed down my nails do much that now they're very brittle & thin. I have now 7 nails that are broken. My natural nail is literally crumbling. I've never had weaker nails. In the past two years I've been getting dip done, my nails were strong & healthy & thick. It's going to take me 6+ months to get back the integrity of my nails & for that, a one star review. read more

To start, I had an appointment for me and my friend at 1:30 pm today. we showed up on time, sat down and started looking through the polish colors. We quickly decided what we wanted within 5 minutes. We pointed out our colors and sat there for 35 minutes before we had anyone come talk to us. Finally, someone came to do mine, but my friend sat there for an hour watching me get mine done until someone offered to do her's. After what seemed like forever, I told the technician what i wanted (a full new set). He began by clipping off my old acrylics but when he did, he clipped so close to the base that he clipped my real nail off and it began bleeding. My sister, who had been here before, told me that he had done the exact same thing to her. Usually, i don't mind the process of the techs taking off the old acrylics by clipping them halfway and popping them off but this hurt more than usual. Regardless of how the first part felt, he did mostly what i had asked for and the nails looked pretty good. But, it was 2:05 when he started and he was not finished until 3:30. My friend had plans at 4:00 pm and this made her late. Around 2:45, another technician finally showed up and asked what she wanted for her nails. My friend, knowing that they would not be done in time for her plans, declined and said she no longer wanted them done. Now here's the worst part. When we went up to pay, the total was 72$. i was confused of course why it was so expensive but we were in a hurry because of the plans at 4:00 so we had just assumed it was the "ombré" i had gotten on my nails or something. After the fact, I started questioning why it was so pricey. We called and asked what the reasoning behind it was. The woman answered and said that we had gotten Acrylics, a pedicure and a wax. which was not true at all. In conclusion, I would not recommend this place if you have somewhere to be afterwards. This was my first time at Paris Nails and it was such a great experience! I came in for a manicure and pedicure and received the best service. Everyone was really nice and welcoming and they took their time and made sure I got exactly what I asked for. I got to know Sarah well and she explained to me how they are all family and they are really invested in their clients and also see them as family. I finally found my go to nail salon and will most definitely recommend it to anyone looking for great service and great quality! read more

I stopped in here today for the first time via recommendation from a friend, and I have to say I am not disappointed. When I arrived I had to wait 20 minutes to begin getting my nails done (walk-in) but was later compensated for waiting with a decreased price. The salon is clean and the staff is extremely friendly and understanding. My nail technician was Le, who I believe is the owner of the salon, was extremely nice, a good conversation, and fun to be around while got my nails done. The prices are appropriate for the work being done and I am thoroughly impressed with how my nails looked at the end. As I said previously, I was given a slightly reduced price due to waiting in the beginning, but was also given a 10% discount with proof of a student ID (it can be any kind of student ID, but it needs to be shown upon paying). Overall, I was very impressed with the service and will definitely be returning again in a couple of weeks to get my nails done again for my birthday. read more

We had an appointment at 1pm; one of our members did not get attention until 2:20. The service was poor and the work was worse. I was not asked how short I wanted my nails; she took them down beyond the skin. The paint job was so poorly done that I finally spoke up and asked them to paint my entire nail. The polish was red. Paid big bucks for a pedicure and it was so rushed from the second we got in there- even picking out the nail color was a disappointment....my massage chair was even broke.... and my lady didn't care one bit that it wasn't working...one gentleman that was there working was the best part about that visit as he actually had a personality and cared. I've been in three times for a dip manicure. The first one was the best one I've ever had anywhere. Of course I went back. The second one was the owner that did it. All 10 of them had chipped within the first week. Three of them within the first 24 hours. I assumed it was just me being hard on my nails. I went back today and had the absolute worst experience I've ever had anywhere. The guy that did my nails was obsessed with telling me he would have done a better job. They would not chip if he did them. I should have come back etc... he would not drop it. I never brought it up. Like I said I assumed it was because I'm hard on my nails. He then talked me into 2 ombré nails. I told him no thank you twice but he was persistent so I gave in. I was in that chair for 2 hours total. He asked me after an hour and a half if he could start over. I told him no. I had to be to work in 30 minutes. That's when 3 other people took over to try to fix them. It only got worse from there. Now I have one nail so thick I can't do a thing with them. Some are short, some long. Some round, some square. The two ombré (if you can call it that) nails glow in the dark. I'm not kidding you. They glow in the dark. They are horrible. The thing is, if I go back and ask them to re-do them I may have no natural nail left. The guy that started them filed them so thin before he started that it burned me. If they take them all off tomorrow and start over I will have no nail left. I guess I'm stuck with these monster nails for a while now. And to boot, all said and done, I was there for 2 hours and 15 minutes. I was 20 minutes late for work and they charged me $38 for the worst hack job ever. They knew how horrible they looked and still charged me. They lost a customer today. This place was Horrible...Just moved to the area 2 years ago and get my nails manicured every week ...Watched these people service a cater to whites quickly and make blacks wait like myself ...My last encounter I had a 5:15 appointment as usual on a Thursday, arrived on time and two white women whom they knew walked in at 5:30 to get pedicures .. They sat them down immediately and because they were spending more $$$ (I presume)...they had 2 technicians servicing them and they didn't start on my manicure until 6:30...I complained to the owner because this was not the first time ...it was i marine maybe the 10th or 11th , but it was usually 15 to 30 minute wait..and because they knew me they felt comfortable enough to have me wait ...BUT ON THIS DAY , I TOLD THEM "THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN TO ME AGAIN IN THIS PLACE" I had had enough told them and decided that thier sheer lack of Respect ,professionalism , and observance of my time and other African Americans whom I've seen them do likewise too had taken thier toll...I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE WHO VALUE THOSE 3 THINGS I MENTIONED NOT TO MENTION THE FAVORITISM FOR THOSE THEY PERSONALLY KNOW AND REGULARS ...THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT THE PLACE TO GO FOR AA's YOUR UNWELCOMNESS IS ON PURE DISPLAY THERE ...AND THEY START SPEAKING THEIR LANGUAGE WHEN THEY ARE SAYING STUFF ABOUT US , BUT SPEAK GOOD ENGLISH TO US ...WTF...!!! read more

I only recommend one Tech at this Salon and that is Monique. He must make a reservation Monday through Wednesday since she has cut her hours back. She will take care of you and do an excellent pedicure or shellac manicure. In addition Monique does very good nail art and I've been able to take some very challenging designs to her that have come out very pretty. The others I have had about average results, however, I have also had some poor ones too. read more
