Tons of seating at this location - there's a couple of tables on the main floor and more seating upstairs. There are tons of pastries, which are all organized and attended to. You take a tray and a pair of tongs to grab the ones you want. I got an almond croissant and a simple medium coffee. Mine was freshly brewed, which was nice - it took ~10 min. The almond croissant was delicious as well and paired well with a simple coffee. There's a bathroom on the main floor right by the cashier for customers, but I recommend to not sit at the table by it, since the bathroom can get funky at times. This is one of the first of this casino I've seen in this part of Brooklyn, and I was pleasantly surprised (was looking for a place to sit and wait). The space itself looks much like its other shops with its lovely, royal blue and its muted earthy shades. There's a decent selection of confections, fresh and pre-packaged. There's a menu for drinks (coffee, tea, espresso,etc) and other items. I saw all walks of life breeze in and out as I sat in the downstairs, cafe style window seating (There's additional seating upstairs). I will say the best part was the ambiance, as the cheesecake moelleux (Japanese style) was chalky and slightly undercooked (it's my favorite type of cake). Let me start by saying that I'm usually very understanding and forgiving when things don't go well. Being in the service industry for 20 years, I understand.....things happen. However, I had an experience here bad enough to say something about it. I was on my way to an appointment. It was super hot out and I decided to grab an iced coffee here since I saw there was no one on line. I order a cold brew with vanilla sweet cream with a splash of milk. The young lady behind the counter rang me up for just a regular cold brew, so I stopped here and told here I would like it with Vanilla Sweet Cream. Simple mistake, no harm done. I paid, and use the restroom. I come out and my drink still wasn't ready. I wait a few mins, and then I was informed by another employee "We don't have sweet cream" and was offered whipped cream. I said, "Please just put simple syrup and some half and half...like a regular cold brew" and I added "There's a price difference, isn't there?" No one responded. I wait a few more mins for my drink to be re-made. I was handed a drink that wasn't full....about an inch of space at the top of the cup that should have had coffee in it. I'm assuming that they were low on cold brew as well. The young lady had a concerned "I'm really sorry" look on her face as she handed it to me and asked "Do you want more coffee in the cup?" While all of this was going on, a 3rd employee showed up saying "Never fear, Heavy Cream is here.." They explained that I was waiting for the sweet cream that needed the heavy cream. I really didn't want to wait around for my drink to be remade a second time. I figured with no one online and 3 employees that the entire process would only be a few mins. I already spent enough time here and judging by how things went, I don't think getting back the price difference ( I paid over 7 dollars for a coffee drink that should have costed around 4 dollars and change) would be a simple and quick process. I took the coffee that I paid too much for and with a frustrated and disappointed look on my face, and said "Don't worry about the price difference, I'm running late now.." the young lady apologized for everything as I was leaving. I get it, I get it...I was offered alternatives but still walked away unhappy....they did try, just a perfect poop-storm that I was on receiving end of, I guess. I accepted what I sorta wanted, and the alternative was executed poorly. I wish I could say better things, but I can't. read more

It was clean and have many options for pastries and cakes but what caught my eye was the strawberry mochi donut. I worked around the area and this place is one of the spot I go to for coffee. Was early so I waited till 6am to open . Waited in front when someone came to open the door and said to me if I am only getting coffee? I said yes and why ??? Then she said there is no management so technically I can't be inside while there is not management present. ... Now,.... It was 10am when I got here and you can tell it hadn't been swept, mopped or wiped down. That was a complete turnoff. The floors have crumbs all over, the stairs have garbage and stains from spills. I hate to say "I'd give 3.5 stars if I could," but that applies to Paris Baguette. It was my first time at what is apparently quite a large chain. It was honestly not my first choice, as you've got a literal world of dining options within easy reach of this place. So what brought us here? We had about 30 minutes to kill as we waited on a timed access ticket to the NYC Transit Museum down the block. With a 7 year old among us, convenience won out, and we ended up in Paris! Paris Baguette has a large selection of pastries in plastic cases with a self-serve "you Pick em" type setup a la your local grocer. In other words, it's just like Paris sans cigarette smoke, mimes, public urinals, and berets. I had a pain au chocolat and an espresso shot. It around $8 for these 2 items. Others in my party had a creme filled donut of some sort (forget the French name) and a mini cheesecake. I tried my fiancee's donut thing, it wasn't bad. But we both felt that the pain au chocolat was superior. If you've ever had the Costco ones that come 20 in a box with a 2-3 month shelf life, the ones here are definitely a cut above! Flaky and flavorful. Not sure if they're baked on premises though. Espresso had a nice crema and was smooth. No funky oily taste like swill from McDonald's or Dunkin. I will say that it took a while to be made. My group was seated and "dining" as I stood around waiting for them to pull a shot. Oh well. The restroom is available for customers, so be sure so use it. It requires a 4 digit key code you'll get on a receipt. We weren't given a receipt, but the cashier gave me a code when I asked for one. Cleanliness was marginal at best. But "it did the job." That about sums this place up: you can do better, but you can certainly do worse. We killed a half hour and got some satiety with a decent flavor profile. While it sure isn't Paris, Paris baguette is reminiscent of say pret a manger or au bon pain. In other words: you can sit here and pretend you're in the airport waiting for your plane to Paris! I came to this spot for a quick coffee with my sister, but was enticed by the window display and ended up staying for lunch. I got the Caesar salad and raspberry fruit bite. The salad was fine, a little more elevated that most Caesar salads with the addition of avocado, hard boiled egg, and tomatoes. I was craving some veggies and this fulfilled that need, but it certainly wasn't the best salad I've ever had. The raspberries on top of my pastry were fresh, and filled with cream. After eating the raspberries, what I was left with was more or less a cheese danish. I was a little disappointed there wasn't more raspberry flavoring. I also got a medium drip coffee with oat milk- it's actually quite huge, and was strong without being bitter. My sister thought the apple mochi donut was a little too sweet but had a perfect mochi texture. We also had a chicken pesto baguette, (which they heated for us) that was exactly as advertised. The cold brew was perfect--not too watery and a great deal for the size--even the "small" size is a little bigger than a Starbucks grande. The upstairs eating section is a really nice spot to eat, a great place to sit and study, or to chat with friends.
