On top of that, I always feel rushed and unsupported - someone today asked me if I had any concerns I wanted to forward to the doctor, and I swear she walked out of the room before I finished talking, so I didn't even get to voice my concern. My husband and I just looked at each other like did that really just happen?? The only time they wanted to spend time with us was trying to sell us on additional unnecessary testing with the genetic counselor. With that said, they generally get you in and out pretty quickly, which is nice. But it is coming at a cost.
