Maria has helped been my saving grace through my unconventional motherhood experiences over the…read morepast 20 years. I would not be the strong, resilient, woman I am today without her mentorship, unconditional support, non judgmental advice throughout my journey.   Maria first came into my life when I made the difficult decision to place my son up for an open adoption. I was struggling with PPD as well as mental abuse and judgment from my family with the decision that I made. I felt alone, lost, and judged. Maria shared her story with me, coached me through my grief, and supported me in my weakest moments. Last year, I attended the high school graduation of the beautiful boy I gave birth to and I have the most beautiful relationship with his parents and extended family. Maria helped me see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am so grateful to her for being by my side. My second motherhood experience came when I made the decision to accept full custody of my 5 young siblings (age 6, 8, 10, 12, 14) after the state of Virginia removed custody from our parents due to mental and physical abuse. I was in my early 20's, didn't eve know how to cook myself a meal, let alone becoming a single mother overnight to 5 siblings who I loved so deeply. I was on the phone with Maria nearly daily seeking her guidance and support through the hard times with my siblings, with learning how to be a parent, and with my own trauma, anxiety and depressive emotions of not feeling adequate enough. Maria is a wealth of knowledge in all aspects of motherhood whether conventional or unconventional. I continue to learn so much from her and I feel so blessed that I found her.

I cannot recommend Maria highly enough, I would give her 100 stars if I could! Her insight and ability to validate my feelings while also giving a perspective I may not have thought about is a true gift. Maria is a wealth of knowledge and is so easy to talk to; it feels like talking to an old friend. I've been able to successfully implement strategies and have constructive, productive conversations with my teen based on Maria's suggestions. She is a true gift & I'm so grateful for her help.

She had such a warm and positive attitude, which made the entire appointment feel calm and reassuring. She took her time explaining everything and made us feel completely comfortable. Dr. Khine was absolutely amazing. She explained everything clearly, answered all of our questions, and reassured us every step of the way that everything looked great. Her bedside manner is compassionate, professional, and thorough -- exactly what you hope for during pregnancy appointments. Ruth was also fantastic and provided detailed information regarding genetic testing, making sure we understood all of our options without feeling overwhelmed. The entire office and staff were kind, welcoming, and professional. We felt very well cared for and are extremely comfortable continuing our care at this location. Highly recommend!

They're also not helpful at all (ie. Insurance, appts etc)... the staff (doctors, nurses and techs) are very impersonal and have sterile and cold bedside manners. To top it all off, every appt I had (10+) had at least a 1 hr wait (despite an appointment). Beware that They prebill every service before processing it with insurance which meant a large out of pocket expense before reconciling with insurance.

I tried watching some YouTube videos, and I'm sure there is some good advice out there, somewhere, but I figured having someone explain the basics to me then watch me and give advice on what I should change, was worth the investment. Cameron was professional, knowledgeable, personable, and most importantly - patient.

I initially did a private lesson with someone, whose name I can't remember, at Coronado Golf Course many years ago and I had a bit of a bad experience. I left feeling more frustrated than I was when I first started because I was unable to hit the ball, even once, after following the techniques that I was taught. I was instructed to keep my arms as close to my body as possible and in doing that, I was unable to swing through because NEWSFLASH! I have rather large breasts blocking that pathway... HELLO!!!! I kept trying to tell the guy but I don't think he could relate, LOL, and surprisingly told me to stay the course with the "keeping my arms close" nonsense. After my first lesson lesson, I became convinced that I would never be able to golf because I have boobs and gave up the sport entirely, chalking it up to be something that was not for me. Fast forward to now, I decided to give it another go. I met with Shane and he broke everything down in a very simplistic way and what d'ya know!? I was able to hit the ball right away. What a difference having a great instructor makes! I would highly recommend hiring Shane for a private lesson. He turned something that was frustrating and seemed impossible to learn, into a sport that I look forward to learning more about. He is a great teacher! Can't wait to take more lessons from him soon and start kicking ass at golf!
