I've had a few Philly Cheesesteaks in LA and OC. The BEST cheesesteaks I find come from owners who grew up in Philly, forget the rest including bigbox and fastfood types (these are imitators), they don't compare. Authentic Philly Cheesesteak sandwiches should be "overfilled" with ingredients and "messy" falling apart in your hands. (I compare it to The Hat pastrami, if you know what I mean.) The only drawback at this location was how it smelled when you opened the door. More like cleaning liquids than food smell (I literally had to hold my breath while entering), but eventually went away.
