Very healthy and beautifully presented catering box. Everything looked fresh and vibrant -- hummus, guacamole, a variety of dips, vegetables, and fruits, all perfectly arranged with great attention to detail. A+! Beautiful presentation of delicious and healthy food for a home party. Horbox brought a warm, personalized touch that our guests loved. Will definitely use them again...and again read more

Last time we used Horbox, we gave a 5 star review. This time, I'd give a 6/5 if I could. First of all, I'd like to thank both Anastasia and our lovely bartender who were both extremely professional during ordering, set up, service, and clean up. The bartender was very professional serving drinks and going around to make sure no one's hands were empty. And she was gorgeous and professionally presented. The goal is to have guests enjoy their time so much that they stay longer. ALL of the food and beverages that we served were completely gone and at the perfect pace / timing. Everyone really enjoyed the food and drinks. The set up is very nice, very event ambience appropriate. We want people to ask, "who did you use for catering"? Make it fancy, bring the gold rim disposable cups and cutlery, and let's have a fun picturesque event! Good quality of food, drinks, and service. I appreciate the fast communication while ordering. The punctuality is crucial and was on time for everything. And lastly, the clean up was phenomenal. All of these factors are equally important and within the expectations of the price we pay. Very happy with the service. Will be using again! read more

From start to finish my experience with Horbox was amazing! Being a late planner, I kept going back and forth with whether or not I was going to cook for a baby shower I was hosting. Seeing that I was going to work a twelve hr shift the day before I figured it wasn't going to be possible and reached out to Horbox about 7 days prior. I was only going to have 20 people or less at this gathering and was honestly going to order something from a chain restaurant and have it door dashed. Horbox gave me prompt responses and when the catering quote was out of my price range, Anastasiia offered her boxed options. It was still beautifully made food, fresh, and delicious. With a bit of finesse and arranging the food table was quite impressive! Burrata peach bruschetta was REALLy good, I just love a good fruit and cheese pair. Smoked salmon bruschetta w fresh cucumber was also delicious.. the cucumbers were thinly sliced and layered beautifully. The mini Cesar salads were also a hot, easy to serve in mini square bowls and the quail egg was a nice touch! The egg salad crepes were perfect for our brunch themed gathering. The crepes were soft and thin. Very creative take on egg salad sandwich. The brie/prosciutto croissant sandwiches were actually quite large! I ended up cutting them in half and provided for lots of food. This was good but I felt it was too salty. Maybe instead of sundried tomato a sweet figs to cut the saltiness. Or a bit of fruit? Still ate them all though! The mini pancake skewers were a hit. Kids especially loved them and the Nutella and jam dips. It would have been nice to have the Nutella in a squirt bottle for easier serving but we all went to town on it regardless. The fruit skewers and the charcuterie plate was also very hefty and full! The fruit could have been a bit fresher but I'm sure it didn't travel well from OC to LA. Just some minor suggestions for the future, but overall the guests loved the food and it was easy to set up and serve. I was glad to support a small business instead of a chain restaurant. Ordering online was super easy and they really came through!! Highly recommend Horbox for catering your event or for smaller gatherings! read more

This is the place I wish I were the only one to know... but I also want them to be successful because they absolutely deserve it lol. I ordered from them for my baby's first birthday party. I was honestly skeptical because the photos looked like they were AI-generated, but I didn't have much choice since the party was the very next day. And I'm so happy with my decision. Every plate was beautiful, easy to set up, and delightful. I do wish they had included some forks because I forgot to bring them, but other than that it was great. My annoyingly picky husband instantly smiled when he saw the setup, and all my guests mentioned how much they liked the food. Even my toddler loved their egg salad. If you are having a fancy party, I highly recommend this place! I'm just sorry I couldn't take more photos :( read more

After attending two events catered by Horbox, I finally had the opportunity to work with them to do box catering for an event I was hosting. And Im so glad I did! Their service is impeccable, their delivery was on time, and the food is both absolutely delicious and impeccably and beautifully presented. Not only was I impressed - but all my guests were as well. From the charcuterie plates, to the pear and gorgonzola bruschetta, to the unique crepe wraps -- everything was impressive! I have been recommending them to everyone I know - because I know their event will be a success with Horbox, and quite selfishly so that I can have Horbox at as many events I attend as possible! :) read more

We recently catered food from Horbox for our son's Graduation party. The food was so delicious and with generous portion. We selected chicken piccata and roast salmon for our main menu. In addition to that, we also ordered 3 different type of appetizers. The chicken was moist, juicy and flavorful. Same with the salmon. Our guests gave us compliments of the food. Also, it was easy to work with Anastasia. She was very prompt in responding to our inquiries whether in messaging or over phone call. We chose full catering service package that included setup. It was setup beautifully. Highly recommend Horbox Catering service. We will definitely consider Horbox again. read more

So happy I found Horbox and will definitely be ordering again!Anastasia is absolutely wonderful and her catering is delicious and presented beautifully. I found the company on Doordash and then called her to make sure the order went through. She actually ended up hand-delivering the items to me. I felt proud to bring them to the party, and they did it last long. Everyone ate what I brought quicker than anything anyone else brought to the party! I almost didn't get a picture because of it! I had the caprese skewers and the peach burrata bruschetta, and both were delicious! I will definitely order from her again. She is also very nice and caring. Please try her and spread the word. read more

After prior discussions in which HORBOX confirmed availability for our wedding date, we had a scheduled call for Friday. On Tuesday, we were ready to proceed and submit a deposit, but HORBOX said they could only speak on Friday, so we waited until then to finalize and submit the deposit. On that call, 14 days before the event, we were informed they were unavailable. Given this was our wedding, earlier notice - even as early as Tuesday - would have been helpful if the date was no longer available. As a result, we had to find a new caterer with only 2 weeks left. During the call, portion sizes and pricing were unclear, which made it hard to understand what we would be paying for. Sharing our experience to inform future clients. read more

We can't possibly express how wonderful our experience was with Anastasiia and Horbox! One of our concerns was ordering from a vendor that was almost an hour outside of Los Angeles since our event was in Fairfax, but everything arrived exactly on time, fresh, and delicious. Anastasiia took special care to transport everything in cooled transport containers. All of our guests were so happy and impressed with the food and the presentation.
