The unit was disgusting when we moved in but we were assured it'd be cleaned, never was. There was an ant infestation and took them 3 days to get to it, they were everywhere. Your kids cannot play outside whatsoever. If you aren't on the third floor be ready to hear loud banging and footsteps at all hours of the night above you. Management is awful, also don't expect any of your deposit back! We got a refund of $12.70. Yup you read that correctly. Also is extremely over priced for what you're actually paying for. Might look pretty on the outside but that's literally it. The gate is constantly broken and if it's after hours you can't call the office so you have to wait and hope to God someone opens it for you. The pool is basically a bio-hazard, and parking is a pain in the ass. So yup I'd definitely never recommend living here !!!

Therefore, we ended up breaking our lease and moving to Boardwalk at Millenia! I'll start by mentioning Kelsey, the Assistant Manager. She was absolutely incredible! She made me feel super comfortable from the moment we walked in (prior to the pandemic). I feel like I asked so many questions yet she remained patient and explained everything with such calmness and expertise. I had visited a dozen of offices for two weeks and majority of the times we came across property managers/leasing assistants that were so arrogant. So thank you Kelsey for being super sweet and giving us such incredible customer service. The property includes many amenities and its walking distance from shopping centers, restaurants, grocery stores, parks, and so much more! Sadly, we were only there for a few months because my husband got sent to a different state for work (for 10 months). And because I didn't want to be alone, I came to live in NC with my family. HOWEVER, I just signed my new lease and we are moving back to Millenia in September! I am beyond excited and I can't wait to be living at such a wonderful place, with my little family again. This time around, I've been helped by Brittany and although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting her in person, she's been great over the phone. She projected such an attentive tone while I was asking questions on different units. She quickly helped me begin the process. I can't stress the importance of customer service; Kelsey and Brittany are both incredible! Not going to lie, Boardwalk is a bit on the pricey side but in my opinion, you get what you pay for. If you're looking for a luxurious place to live that has a bunch of different places to walk to (or drive to, if you're lazy like me) then go check out Boardwalk at Millenia, you won't regret it!

On one occasion, someone was urinating and defecating in a bucket on the third floor and spilled it in the hallway. When I reported this, management refused to check and told me to call the police myself. Situations like this are common, and management repeatedly claims the property is "open to the public," so their security team can't intervene. That's unacceptable for a residential building where tenants should feel safe. As a service member, I was especially concerned about leaving my wife here alone during deployment. Management offered no support and simply said I was out of luck. They advertise themselves as "military friendly," but allowing lease termination with deployment orders isn't a benefit -- it's required by law. I did go on deployment and received my letter but dealing with them while preparing for deployment was a stressor itself due to their management If you're looking for poor management, inconsistent communication, people screaming at night, little to no security, homeless people and ongoing safety concerns, this is the place. Otherwise, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

The apartment has nice amenities but it's unfortunate that the community doesn't seem to take care of the surrounding area. If you have a dog, you'll more than likely have to dodge droplets left behind by ignorant pet owners who can't seem to ever pick up after themselves despite the dog stations posted all around the complex. Parking is tough if you don't have a paid parking spot. Everything feels about 30 minutes away so just know you'll be spending quite a bit on tolls and gasoline. The gym is clean but lacks hygiene wipes 70% of the time.. during your tour they mention how you can use the tvs in the areas at any point but nobody ever seems to know how to get them to work.. it not that easy and can be very frustrating. The yoga room tv is always down for some odd reason? And the gym doesn't have music playing anymore but when I moved in they always had good music playing. The staff is good but other than that I don't know if I'll want to renew my lease. Paying premium pricing but unfortunately the community doesn't seem to care about the area and that's a big red flag to me.

Her bike was stolen from behind her vehicle in the garage, vagabonds just come in dumpster diving and break into vehicles, and as soon as you step outside the front door of the building you smell nothing but dog and human piss!! The hallway smells disgusting, and if there's anything dribbled on the floors, it's there for DAYS!!!! Even DOG EXCREMENT!! She had a fridge that was leaking PUDDLES in and outside of it!! Ruining food, and costing her more in laundry/electricity due to having to consistently keep paper towels or cloth towels in front of it to sop up the water!! Oh, but was it repaired???? NO!!! It took her 5 damn months to get anyone to do anything about it, at which time it was finally replaced!!!! The folding doors never stay on the tracks and have fallen on us TWICE!!! When maintenance was here one day during one of my visits, I asked him to fix the door and was told "it wasn't his job"!! I said "you're a man, you can't just fix it"? He did put it back on the track, but it never stayed. They have signs to "clean up after your dog" but you go to grab a dog poop bag and there isn't any!!! I was here to assist my daughter during a high stress time in her life for five weeks, and the "amenities " were closed the entire time!!!!! FIVE WEEKS!!!! The elevators stink no matter which one you use, you can't get hot water (I think I could pee warmer), and the noise level is ridiculous including the fire alarm going off nearly weekly for months!!! How in the world can anyone justify this as livable????? And there's been three management changes in the year and a half my daughter has lived here and they've all been rude, condescending, and unaccommodating!!! The current manager treated me as if I was a child when instructing me how to use the key to unlock the front door of the building so I "don't destroy his door"!!!! If you value your sanity steer way far away from this dumpster fire!!!! If I could give negative 10 stars I'd be sure to highlight all TEN!!!!!! THIS PLACE IS DEPLORABLE!!!!!!

The community is always clean, pet-friendly, and has plenty of street parking, which makes life so convenient. The pool and amenities are absolutely amazing and truly stand out compared to other apartments in California--definitely top-tier!
