I am a 1998 U of I alum, and haven't been back to campus since 2004. So much has changed since…read morethen, but I was so excited to see that Murphy's was still chugging along. The facade may have been updated, along with open-aired seating, but other than that, I got EXACTLY what I remembered. I even found my name engraved in one of the tables, if you could believe it! As time goes, things need to change and update, but I was so thrilled to walk into Murph's and get the same delicious, 'no frills' burger and fries that I did in the 90s, along with a bottle of malt vinegar to go with it!
