They also offer a bunch of other things to do like bowling, VR, and an arcade. It's pretty much always been busy when I've been there. The movie experience is OK. It's good enough that you're probably not going to bother with driving down to Idaho Falls. Sometimes the movies go fine, other times you have various incidents. The last movie I saw only had sound coming out the front speakers, even though there were clearly speakers all around the walls. Not having even basic Dolby Digital in 2018 is a little weird. It also seems like people being in their correct seats is a regular problem. The seating is assigned, which is great, but annoying when you have to play the game of asking people to move. During the last movie we had the FatCats guy going up and down our aisle trying to verify tickets AFTER the movie had started! There is also a Yelp checkin offer that you should checkout if it's still available. A large popcorn when buying two tickets! Hopefully I'll get to try some of the other activities soon.

I've been a few times now and have found that if you come 30-45 minutes before the show starts you'll find a decent parking spot a few rows back. Come earlier if you want something better. The rows of parking are nice and angled so you can position your car properly. Sound comes in through their FM station and was fairly clear. Just remember that it's a drive-in. You're not going to get amazing sound over your cars FM radio and the projector, while completely fine and visible, is still outside and won't be as sharp as the theater. The experience is definitely worth it though, especially considering you get two new movies. The concessions are okay. This last time I had the Lava Wings. I'm not sure what the lava part was for, they weren't spicy at all. They were good though. They have all the other usual theater things as well. You are supposed to buy a $2 per person "bring your own food" pass when you buy your tickets (if you're brining in your own stuff). Those $2 can be used towards anything in the concessions though, so that is nice. Hopefully this place will stay around for years to come, it's a great thing to do in the area. I can't wait to send these photos to a friend I've been sending images of every potato reference we find in Idaho - potato crops, potato vodka, potato chips - why not a SPUD drive-in movie theater!? It is an old building and has that vintage charm - including the marque. The staff pays attention to the movies and what's happening so if something is wrong they know. There are just curtains that separate the lobby from the theater so they can hear everything that's happening sound wise and are very prompt at fixing it. They have deals in the Starving Student card and all the high school cards. CONS: The bathrooms are old and small. But it's a really old building, too. They have a small lobby so when there's a premier it's kinda crowded in the lobby, BUT there's plenty of room for everyone in the theater (500 seats!), There's no drinking fountain, St. Anthony is only a 15 minute drive from Rexburg and the experience plus the lower cost is much more worth the drive than going to the first run theater (Fat Cats) in Rexburg. They do Superbowl parties there, and other events sometimes too! It's all streamed from an HD projector onto that huge screen.

I tried to call 11 times to reserve tickets, make sure it was playing, etc but nobody answered their damn phones. 4 hours of calling...answering machine every effing time. So I finally tell 10 kids to meet me there for this movie, we get there, and of course the movie isn't playing because a projector broke. So here I am with 10 kids wondering what to do... I ended up paying for a movie half of them had already seen twice so their parents didn't have to turn right around and drive the 15 miles back into town to pick them up. It was the worst experience yet. I will not support these clowns anymore nor will I recommend them. Drive the extra distance to Idaho Falls. Its worth it!!

The seating..., from D-box- to Giant Screen, and 3D....all worth the money! Concessions are (mostly) on average. The large refillable popcorn--comes in the tub. Nowadays- that's pretty rare. I also love that you can refill the "coke freeze ". In the last town I lived in, even if you bought a large coke freeze (slushy), you couldn't refill it with that....only soda. The staff go above and beyond their job duties. Example: a party of 2: both of us wanted the pretzels sticks with 2 different dipping cheeses. About 7 minutes later we got 2 small containers- one with Nacho one with Queso. Pretzel sticks looked great but after we sat down we realized the pretzels were still frozen. I went out to the lobby (show had started) and the same gal (Megan)....took our pretzel sticks and both cheeses back and returned 2 minuets...about...later...with fresh pretzel sticks and super hot fresh cheese!!! It's architecture fits in with the mountain chalet-type theme found in Jackson Hole and other ski areas.
