I was involved in a 3-way auto collision on October 2017. My car was in very bad shape. That night, Paramount towed my car to their collision shop and delivered me a rental car to my home (within 2hrs of accident). I was surprised but so happy to have a replacement vehicle as i was scheduled to drive up to Montreal for a business trip in a couple days! They were polite, helpful, and comforting. The auto centre helped me figure out my insurance rights and were extremely patient throughout the entire process. I hope i don't get into any more accidents, but if i do (fingers crossed) i'd definitely call Paramount towing. Thanks guys! read more

Vultures. My suggestion if you ever get into a car accident is to make sure you have a reliable tow company/insurance you trust and don't let anybody touch your car especially paramount towing until you've contacted the company you want to deal with your accident. Once you're in an accident, you start to panic and you do not want to end up signing papers you will regret signing later on. The company tends to know where you are by listening to the radio and attempt to locate where the accident is. Many other tow truck companies tend to be at the scene of the accident. They can be linked to sketchy car rental companies, and will convince you to rent from the specific car rental company, probably because they get kickbacks if they get people to rent from the company and saying you deserve another car. The car they rent out tends to be unsafe. read more

Will never use them, was not in an accident a driver passed me on the road the driver was wildly unsafe he cut of a driver to get into the turning lane with out signaling and used the turning lane to proceed through lights while speeding. Echoing what others have said...this company and their employees will take advantage of the situation and "maximize" their revenue by towing your car all over the place without your consent. GPS stolen from my vehicle while my vehicle was being stored by this company overnight.

My senior-citizen mother was involved in a car collision and a driver named Vlad from Paramount Towing was on the scene when I arrived there. My mother was in shock, and sitting in the passenger seat of his truck to rest, but cognitively, she was off. The driver told me he had arranged for a rental car via insurance, and that my mother had asked for her car to be towed to our usual collision shop our family has always used. He agreed to take it there, and promised to, to both myself and my mother. A rental car arrived at the scene of the accident, from a company I have never heard of (Vaughan O), and I was trying to help my mother answer questions of the paramedics on scene, so I was distracted. I signed for the rental car and the ambulance took my mother to the hospital. The rental employee dropped the rental at my mother's house, and I followed the ambulance. While I was following, I saw the tow truck make a turn to the east, when he should've been going west. But I figured maybe he was dropping the rental employee off. Once my mother had been seen by the doctor, she asked me to check that our shop had received the car. I called, and they knew nothing of it. I called Paramount, and they gave me some BS story about how they couldn't have towed it to our shop because a claim had not yet been opened through our insurance. If the driver had told me that at the scene, I would have called to open it immediately. But he had said it would not be an issue to drop it where we had asked. Instead, the dispatch was telling me that the car was at their lot. I called my mother's insurance adjuster immediately, and he said I needed to call them back and say the car was to be released immediately, and that our shop would be coming to get it. The person at Paramount said he'd release it, but needed to talk to our adjuster first. I had to call the adjuster back, and he thought it rather strange that he needed to talk to him. They essentially had stolen my mother's car, and would not release it until they ensured payment from the insurance company, including storage fees for storing the car on their lot which we never gave permission for them to do in the first place. Further, the rental company was one our insurance had never heard of, and they advised us that depending on what they charge for the rental, we'd have return it and switch to an approved company. They are running a complete racket! This should be illegal! And the guy on the phone at Paramount also refused to speak to our collision shop to arrange the release. Our collision shop had tried to call him, but he wouldn't answer the phone so I had called again, got through and offered to connect our shop via conference, but he said he'd only talk to our adjuster. I was dealing with all this, while I just wanted to make sure my mother was OK, and the whole situation was giving her more anxiety than she could handle in the circumstances. What was already a nightmare for my mother and our family was made so much worse by these unethical opportunists. Beware of Vlad, and Paramount Towing. I believe there's justice heading for those who profit on the vulnerability and suffering of others in their lowest times. read more

they are straight up liers. I got into a minor accident with the bumper slightly dangling but nothing dangerous. Paramount towing (a guy named Jeff) came within 1 min of the accident (vultures!) and was being very pushy that I need to tow my car even though the damage is very minor and its driveable. He kept saying "police is gonna give u a ticket if u drive like this." I asked him if he can only tow my car to the police station and leave it there. He said "No, I need to tow this car to your car mechanics. I cannot just stop at the police station." They towed my car literally for 300m (one block) and charged me over $300. He also said "I will be your witness. When you go to police, give them my number." After a few days, I called the tow truck to help me out, he completely ignored my call. These guys are pathetic beings. read more

74-101B Freshway Dr, Vaughn is the place they take the cars and dont even tell you, lied about taking the car to another location.They rarely answer the phone. Manager (David )could not tell me where the car is, just said the tow truck driver will call you. After mentioning the police they told me where the car was right away (at their unofficial office! ) I had a witness with me who can confirm that the tow truck driver did not tell me the correct address. On top for the stress I had to have this headache as well. Hope this helps read more

Big Vultures Big ripoff. Be careful.They let you think they are helping but take advantage of you. The tow truck driver calls someone saying it is an insurance agent but actually is an agent. They set-up rental and your credit card is charged $400. Also,take your vehicle to an unauthorised shop. And when you want it back the yard charges $600. Be very careful. Do not trust Paramount Towing. They arrived at a scene without request and persuade you to use their service by acting all friendly and offering advice. However, their promises are lies. Avoid VLAD PAUL who promised to take my car to a body shop then at the last minute said he has to take it to the company pound. 3 days later, my car still has not been moved and Vlad has practically ignored all attempts at communication. This company and it's workers clearly do not care about the individual but only how much money they can swindle from your insurance. STAY AWAY. read more

Absolutely a bunch of thieves.. Charged me almost $2000 to get my car out the impound, did not have a credit card machine and made me pay on cash... If you ever get into an accident and need a tow truck company DO NOT use paramount towing and request another tow truck driver. Lowest of the low - DO NOT EVER have this company tow your car. They are lying thieves, who will cheat you and your insurance company. You will be taken advantage of, and your insurance company will have to pay these guys an exorbitant amount of money to get your car. Instructed them to take the car to the body shop, they did not. Claimed that the body shop was closed. Every body shop is closed after 6, but you are able to leave the car in their lot. Spoke with the body shop, and they said he is lying, he didn't bring the car there. Instead, he took the car to their lot over night. Want to know why? So they could get paid more money by the insurance company and charge them an overnight fee, PLUS tow the car again the next day to the shop. So, within dealing with the thieves and telling the insurance company they are trying to rip them off, I was able to find out that they are requesting $1,345 for services. Two tows, and one over night storage. We never requested two tows, only one. We never requested overnight storage, but he claims that he was unable to drop off the car there, and that it was leaking. Upon investigation, it was not leaking and the body shop owner said he did not bring the car there the day before. If he was unable to take it there, he should have called us, as he has two phones, and had both of our numbers. So, they have charged $1,345 for this, and the tows are all within the west Thornhill area, to the body shop @ Dufferin south of Steeles. Again, do not go anywhere near these people, you will be sorry if you did. read more
