Thank you Paramount Property Services for coming to the rescue. Robert your tech very likely saved our home from bring burnt to the ground. Long story short as possible we had a clog in our dryer vent. Items were getting to hot or not getting dry at all. To make matters worse it was laundry day and the vent itself was too high up for me to reach and clean out from the exterior as it vents out of the top of our house above the second story. I want to preface by saying I attempted to clean out this vent myself from the inside, and my advice to you is to just call Paramount, don't let the name fool you as they do ALL KINDS OF THING! If you are thinking about going to your traditional hardware store and buying one of those dryer vent cleaning kits don't waste your time and learn from my mistake. One 90 degree bend in a pipe you can't see trapped under a floor or in a wall and you could seriously mess things up. Also if you are thinking about hooking up a leaf blower to your vent pipe and attempting to blow out the debris that way it probably won't work; trust me I tried that as well. After learning the hard way from my own defeat I figured out this was a job for a professional, I decided to reach out to a few companies on the web. The first google searches I did came up with all kinds of places that claim to respond quickly and clean your dryer vents. Guess what! They only responded DAYS later long after my laundry began piling up. Thank goodness Paramount had already scheduled me and the price they charged was a fraction of the other guys without all of the sales aspects and fancy lingo. They simply told us the price and when they would arrive, simple, quick, and efficient. We found this company on an app called thumbtack. Paramount even responded to us quickly via text chat and they kept in constant communication with us over several hours to get us scheduled. In a matter of no time I was getting a call from a very pleasant lady by the name of Lee to confirm our appointment. Thank you lee for being an angel and listening to me babel and thanks to whom ever responded to us on Thumbtack even at 2AM. For those of you who read this review and think dryer vent cleaning is bogus think again, as I was also one of those people once. It's OK to be a handy man with a never ending honey do list, but some things really have to be left to the people with the right tools and knowledge. Ask yourself a question before you make an attempt to clean the dryer vent on your own. What is your life and the lives of your family and pets worth to you? Long story made as short as possible Robert the jack of many trades & Paramount Property Services ROCK! I will be calling them to check off more things on my honey do list as well as referring them to anyone who will listen. I joined a group of neighbors to have our ducts cleaned by Paramount and unfortunately this was not a great experience for us. While I think they did a pretty good job with the actual duct work (although no before/after pics so who knows?) they left a mess behind and after 2 weeks of correspondence with their owner she couldn't admit they did anything wrong and offered no real solution. First the good: Easy to set appointment up, guys showed up on time and completed the work in the time they said it would take. The bad: the guys came in the house with no foot booties on, covered in green spray paint (from painting dumpsters?), and left green marks in several spots on ceilings, walls, and vents, tracked the hose in several spots on my carpet, and left metal shavings near the unit where the hole was cut for service. After we called to voice our concern they did send the crew out the next day to address those, and to their credit the guys were apologetic and did make an effort to clean . However the carpet still has marks and there are several ceiling spots that will need to be touched up with paint. The major complaint was with the vent removal, where they pulled several lines of paint along with those vents from not cutting them first. In some spots the drywall came up with that paint. After we sent pictures to the owner she assured us it was caulk and not their problem. She never recommends caulk to customers however that was the solution to fix our problem, rather than offering a small discount off the $500+ we spent on the job. Luckily for my neighbors we went first and complained immediately as none of them had the same issues of careless vent removal or sloppy work in general. We are in a new build neighborhood where all of these houses were finished about the same time by the same foreman, and 2 of the other houses had used the same painter we did. If that wasn't the case I may have bought in to the owner claiming it was my builders fault, or the painter, but I don't think we have the special house here. While not a huge deal it is frustrating that I will now have to spend my free time patching drywall and repainting several walls/colors and hope I can match with the 2 yr old paint. read more

During a home inspection we discovered some mold in the crawl spaces. I contacted 3 companies, 2 local and 1 we had actually used before for other issues. Paramount Property Service was willing to be at my house in just 3 days ( a weekend in there) to take care of this issues discussed and came in with an estimate about 500.00 cheaper. So not only faster than the other 2 but cheaper too, absolutely! The crew was very professional, fast and extremely neat in there clean up. I would highly recommend them for any job that I would need Paramount Property Services or their dumpster rental service. read more

When you have a traumatic life event (house fire) and you turn to "professionals" to help, you usually want them to make it a little easier on you. This company's owners are full of themselves. I can go on and on about the things they have lied about and made harder for us. 1. Came in being cussing him very pushy to complete our entire project 2. Only worked 2 1/2 days in three weeks after a house fire letting them rest of our house that was saved to get moldy. We decided we wanted them to stop work so we can go with a company that cared 3. One of the owners Carter loar called my husband cussing him, calling him a bid jumper and saying it was our fault our house was moldy because we supposed to get a generator in there since we didn't have power. Which we thought fell on the company that was supposed to come in and demo the part of the house that was ruined. Proceeds to hang up the phone and when my husband called back he acted like he never cussed my husband and begged for a second chance. Fast forward 2 years to trying to get our belongings back from them that they packed out. It took us 3 months to get our stuff back from the first time they were contacted that we were back in our house. They blamed it on the insurance company which it wasn't. And as of today we still don't have our clothes back because they won't pay the 3rd party company the outstanding invoice! So here we are 2.5 years later and don't have the chapter of our house fire closed because of them! -100stars! The service was shady and Dori's attitude was unprofessional and rude. After assisting my elderly mother we had serial issues. Got charged over 8,000 for cleaning clothing but the items came back with stains and wasn't cleaned. Then the items removed from her place that wasn't damaged was not returned. Collector coins was missing along with antique items worth money. She expressed she keeps items just incase she may want them but then told me everything was thrown away. On top of that she never returned calls to us or insurance. The apartment complex waited for over 8 months before getting apartment fixed when they claim the turn around wouldn't be long. Then she threatened to knock on my mother's door and harass her because the insurance company couldn't reach Dori so they sent the payment to my mother to pay them. After asking for her missing undamaged items she got verbally abusive. After moms insurance company insisted that I get thier insurance to cover missing undamaged items she then lied and said they were broken by emergency crew but my pictures that was taken after everyone left so I have proof. Then when I asked about returning her missing items she typed up a bogus list that stated the needed info to cover her butt. But when asked to check other ppls items she expressed it wouldn't get mixed up but my mother received a box of someone else personal information such as bank statements and canceled checks, tax forms , and other personal documents. After confronted about it she said she didn't know it got mixed up because that person passed away over a year ago. The problem with that is it wasn't returned to the correct person or family and why did you still have it after a year later but alot of my mother's items came up missing and I'm supposed to trust that. She should not be a business owner or a office professional with her lack of respect for people and their belongings. DON'T USE THIS SERVICE UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR BELONGINGS OR BEING RESPECTED. read more

This company is fantastic! I needed my carpets cleaned on short notice and they worked with me to get this done On my schedule.

Warning: Paramount Property Restoration Services was hired for water remediation after a laundry room flood. The flooding resulted in the need for our entire first floor hardwood to be ripped up and replaced (which included ripping up the entire kitchen). Paramount was eager for the job and ensured us they could handle it - and that it would be done in 3 weeks. We were promised that the subcontractors they hire are top of the line. None of the above was accurate. The original floor were ripped up with such a lack of care that every single custom door frame was damaged (12 in total) unnecessarily. The "fix" we agreed to (with no trust that removing and replacing the door frames would be done without further damage to our house) was also installed improperly resulting in us having to fix the door frames ourselves- at our expense and time if we "wanted it done correctly". When they ripped up the floors they failed to remove all the nails throughout the first floor, and put only a single sheet "walkway" of painters paper. When the new floors arrived the subs refused to ensure the subfloor was still secure (as they were only hired to "lay down the floor"). We were left to screw down each piece ourselves prior to the new floor being laid down. After laying down the flooring multiple pieces were cracked and had to be individually removed and replaced. They never covered the new hardwood and proceeded to damage it, requiring more individual boards be ripped out (tongue and groove cut out) and replaced. In a few high traffic areas they laid down flattened cardboard boxes (not taped or secured). We had more damaged boards from nails, screws, rocks, etc. sitting beneath the cardboard boxes as well as from dragging the fridge, stove, and DW back into the kitchen. They never leveled the floor prior to laying down the new flooring - or even mentioned that this would need to be done. We were left with uneven floors and noticeable gaps between the floor boards and quarter round. The "fix" for this was ripping up more floor boards and sticking some shims underneath to hide the gaps. When ripping out the kitchen they broke multiple pieces of granite. The new granite installed was damaged, with chips and cracks throughout. We had an independent granite company come out and provide a quote for replacing the granite as well as provide their expert opinion on the damaged granite. Paramount agreed to pay for the replacement - in writing and on the phone. They later retracted this offer after coming for the final walk through and never responded to our calls/emails again on the matter, until requesting payment. We later found out they contacted said independent contractor in a harassing manner even going as far as to threaten "karma" for getting involved in their project. They completely drained our well (we were without water for 3 days) by leaving the hose bib in the front of our house wide open. We were left to diagnose and fix the problem ourselves. Their plumber failed on 3 separate occasions to ensure that appliances/sinks didn't leak when re-installing them. Even after repeated requests to please ensure there were no leaks prior to leaving the job site. We caught and fixed the leaks each time, but the cabinet underneath the sink was damaged from leaking water left for several hours before we caught it. The cabinet was not replaced or fixed. Their plumber caused propane to leak into our house for over 3 months, even after multiple notifications that we smelled gas - including by their own hired subcontractors. We had to hire our own independent contractor to identify and fix the leak. The propane readings in our basement and first floor were outrageous and put our entire family, house, and neighboring houses in extreme danger. On numerous occasions Paramount said "smell is subjective" and even recommended not calling a fire department when smelling a gas leak because they will show up with a whole fleet of firetrucks. We were without gas for 2 1/2 weeks getting this fixed (without heat, ability to cook, and do laundry), not to mention the danger we were put in by Paramount. Paramount was notified of every single item above (and more). In most cases they forwarded the message to the subcontractor who would then call us to confront us about why we "got them in trouble" and/or to tell us that Paramount was threatening to not pay them/fire them. Additionally, Paramount refused to provide the licenses of the subcontractors when requested. The lack of oversight provided by Paramount and extreme lack of expertise demonstrated by the subcontractors they hired was shocking. We would caution anyone hiring them for any job similar to the above. Thanks to Paramount we are left with the financial burden of righting their wrongs. read more

Hired Paramount to do all the floors (carpet and tile) and to clean all of the duct work. After their visit we found a couple of rug areas that appeared to have been missed. Called and spoke to the manger who was wonderful - "We'd like a chance to stand behind our service. May I come out and inspect the job that was done?" She did come and within the next week the carpet cleaning truck came back and redid all the carpets, not just the few areas we felt needed it. The floors are gorgeous and I'm impressed with the level of customer care...refreshing to deal with a company who's actually concerned after the fact and who stands by their product! read more

Expensive. Owner Dori promised that carpet would be cut in a way that after repairs were complete a carpet company would be able to reinstall it. Carpet was damaged by paramount and had to be trashed. After calling Dori to tell her about the damage she insisted that I am a liar and that she never claimed they would save the carpet which is brand new btw. Dori is extremely rude and probably should not Bragg about being the owner. She loves saying "industry standard" to sound smart too. Not once did she take responsibility and at the very least say "I apologize let me look into this" that's honestly the only thing I expected after we made a full payment. Any decent business would offer a small apology to their customer yet paramount does not know that practice. They call their customers liars. read more

I had my basement carpet done and they did a great job. Carter and Dori are great folks to do business with and I highly recommend them!
