As a Military Veteran and former athlete I know the importance of flexibility and how it prevents a lot of injuries and issues we suffer from day to day. I had an appointment with Saadia today and she did an amazing job! Not only did she stretch me very good, but she did an amazing job utilizing her body to get my body to move around the way she needed it to. (and I'm a big guy by the way) What impressed me the most was that I told her the areas that gave me issues and when she started to massage and stretch the areas she hit the exact problem spots without me even telling her where they were. It was really cool how just by her feeling around she knew exactly where the problem areas were. Overall the entire process felt great, i felt fluidity again in all my areas, and I will most definitely make it apart of my schedule to come in again as often as I can. The staff here did a thorough assessment and began working on my arm immediately. Their focused approach to massage and physical therapy, along with their attentive listening was a welcomed relief....after having been seen (and not heard) by at least 3 other physicians and specialists. After 4 visits, I've had great relief, and a follow-up treatment plan that I can manage. I've already told them that I plan to return if/when I ever have any aches/pains that cannot be resolved with medication or by general physicians. They have a great team!

Huy is my assigned physical therapist and I'm so grateful for his knowledge and dedications in what he does. I have a very low pain tolerance, yet Huy is extremelyyy patient and encouraging to motivate and guide me through all the exercises to make sure I'm reaching the necessary intensity and milestones for my recovery journey within a safe measure. They also have other assistants helping out during the exercises and all of them are very kind. I left my first (and last) appointment halfway through, sobbing, and I'm disappointed in myself for…read moreputting up with them for that long. I should have stood up for myself and told them not to bark at me, cut me off or talk to me like a dog during the consultation and left then, but I didn't. I went in to the "therapy room" where I was basically ignored along with an elderly woman who was also there fending for herself while the guys listened to cock rock, sitting on their butts. When I mentioned I was having trouble keeping track of the time/counting during the exercises (do to a serious neurological condition mentioned on my chart and brought up by me) they weren't much help and dismissed me. I was made to feel bad about it, like I was inconveniencing them, so I felt embarrassed and ashamed, got really emotional and didn't feel the need to proceed. As I was crying and gathering my things, nobody felt the need to apologize, pull me aside in private to resolve things, or even to ask if i was ok, but instead were so worried about booking my next appointment so they can rake in that sweet insurance money for ignoring/ berating me for another 14 sessions. I had PT at another place a few years ago for a different injury and it was a really fun, interactive and interesting experience that helped immensely, so I was looking forward to this. Unfortunately these people are crooks taking advantage of people who don't know any better and milking the system. I don't think these men have a very high opinion of women either, a conclusion I came to after the guy in charge dismissed my serious neurological condition I mentioned and painful hip injury that I was there for as "fibromyalgia". That was after he pointed out how out of shape I was (I've been off my feet due to injury for a month). Totally infuriating, unprofessional and sickening. I'm obviously still so angry and upset I can hardly articulate all of this. Just avoid this place if you can, and if you have to go, don't let them bully or demean you. One last thing: the equipment is old, dirty and broken. I never saw them clean a thing. The music is terrible and the place is a depressing place to have to slum it for PT.

Theresa is skilled and personable, and gives every patient so much attention room and care. The entire culture of the clinic is warm and friendly--everyone greeting me by name. My very first session the therapist says these life changing words, "I think this problem is centered in your back." WHAT?!? OMG, I was shocked. They focus on independence here and they try to really focus on getting their patients to become independent again. They are all so very nice and they are trained on how to deal with combative patients, not by drugging them up but by being gentle and patient, even with their own hectic schedules. It's easier to say "no, stop fighting, this is what's going to happen" then it is to say "hey Linda, it's okay, you're safe so let's take some breaths in and out....in.... out, then mom follows along and becomes calm again so we can start treatment again. They never ever FORCE treatment, they are kind and respectful. I would recommend TIRR to anyone needing physical rehab. Thank you to every nurse and every doctor there, you are truly hero's in my eyes. All of you!
