The best part about this show: tickets are 100% free! Vistek is the main sponsor/host, however you'll find all the major camera brands here; Sony, Canon, Nikon, Sigma, Fuji etc. They all allow you to test their newest and greatest cameras and lenses and tech. DJI for example had their latest drones including the FPV drove available to test (in a controlled zone) as well as gimbals and tripods galore. Throughout the multi-day event, some very famous content creators tend to show up (Peter McKinnon in previous years, Chris Hau) as well as award winning photographers giving their insight into major accomplishments. If you've ever thought about buying or upgrading your camera gear this is also a great time to go since you can not only test out the lens or body you're thinking of buying, but during the actual show they tend to have ridiculous sales on stuff (but only for the ~2 days the show is on)!

Tickets were $30 and that included a souvenir glass with 2 drink @4oz/food tokens. Event space was all under one roof for 15 breweries and there was also a small outdoor patio. Food-wise, there wasn't too much selection with 1 cheese place, Tatsu Bakery, a momo place, and a vendor with no sign. Additional tokens were $2.50ea. Tokens didn't really get your much in the way of food, maybe 1 hors d'oeuvres. Certainly not enough for a meal. My plan of attack was simple, visit the breweries that were new to me! Personally, the breweries that I think did the best had some kind of big signage, including one listing all the brews that were available including a brief description. As there was live music playing, I found it quite difficult to communicate with some of the vendors and volunteers. At one point, they also had a live DJ. Turnout seemed to be good, it wasn't too crowded on Friday night. There was also plenty of space to move around and enjoy your beer. Since this is the first year of the event, I think it'll just get better!

After a long day on the water we were ready for dinner. We walked over to National. It was about 8 pm on a Friday night. I had the fish fry. It was good. The service was not very attentive. When we walked in they said we could sit anywhere. After 5 minutes we got our own menus. After 5 more minutes we asked if anyone could take our order. There were 5 of us. They served food to 3. And 5 minutes later served food to the remaining 2. Then we had to ask for the bill.

I am *VERY* surprised that the National Yacht Club has not been reviewed yet!…read more One of my friends is a member of this club, and we had a special event to coordinate (a landmark birthday party). We rented the main floor dining and bar area (for a fee of approximately $300.00) and we had 30 guests attend our event. The main floor lounge is big enough to hold a few more people than we had in attendance, and we also used the patio outside. There are 2 large screen TVs mounted on the wall across from the bar, and the staff helped us display a slide show of the guest of honour on those screens. We even Skyped with a couple of people who could not be there in person. Oh, and the NYC even has free wifi! The tables were beautifully covered with linens: white table cloths, blue cloth napkins, cutlery wrapped in serviettes, and glasses of water. It was a hot day, and the event was catered; the barbecue was set up on the patio, which provided fabulous views of the boats and the skyline of Toronto. The food was excellent! There was a green salad, another salad with couscous in it, corn on the cob, and your choice of burger or chicken on a bun. I skipped the bun and had chicken. It was really good! There was a chef, the event coordinator, and a bar tender - and that's all the staff they had for this event. They were efficient and helpful. The Yacht Club has its own private parking lot which is gated; you press a button, and someone answers to let you in (we were guests of my friend who is a member, so we gave her membership number). Once inside, parking is free. I would definitely use this facility again, if I could. On the other hand, I don't have a membership. Costs of membership vary, depending on what you need: there's an initiation fee of $100 and up (depending on what you need, or your age), then annual dues that range from $288 per year all the way up to $1,795.00; so it depends on how much you would use it. But the service and the facility were really great!

There was no mental plasticity from this instructor attempting to teach students who had no acting experience. It would have been nice to have been taught by someone with experience in acting.

I have been making frequent visits to Monarch Park lately, because it's winter softball time and…read morethis is where all the magic happens. First time I showed up there, I was a popsicle, it was possibly colder inside than it was outside. The heater was broken they say and it would take a few days, scratch that, weeks to get it fixed. Weeks later, it did get fixed, but only for one week, because the following week (this week), it's cold AF in there again. Beside that, Monarch Park is a full-sized soccer field is sectioned into quarters and is ultimately an all-purpose field. The many times I've been there, I have seen full on soccer games, adults and little ones training for soccer, there are people running on the track and obviously playing softball. The only downside to this place is the turf, the turf is a mix of "grass" and gravel get everywhere. In shoes, on my jackets, in my bag, everything. For softball, they also use a different ball, it's softer, and therefore bouncier, but it hurts less if you get it. Other than that, I'm just glad I get to continue playing softball indoors.

But curiosity lead us inside the Toronto Beinnial Of Art. Upon entering friendly faces welcomed us. Gave us a briefing on what was happening and told us to explore. The beauty and messages in all the artwork is priceless. From models, to drawings, and photography. There's something to be learned from it all. What savage philosophy is and what steps we can take to stand up and speak out. This program which is just seventy two days is worth the trip. But unlike me, you won't show up by accident, but that's not discouraged either. I hope a trip is in your planner to swing by. I encourage visiting one of the sites!
