Run far away. While I was test driving a car they knew I was traveling 2 hours to see, my wife stayed behind to learn another couple was there to take it for the weekend. Our sales rep didn't hide it well that he knew about this buyer. Told is not to worry, let's get the paper work started. I asked to put a deposit down immediately. Nope, gave them a reasonable offer and told them that was my best. They delayed an answer until the earlier couple came back from a short test drive. Sales rep came out with way high numbers including service contract which I told them was not needed. And a $799 doc fee! I said that won't work and then I was asked to wait and see what the numbers from the other couple were. Nope, not getting into a bidding war. I told the couple to offer whatever they wanted as I would not get into a bidding war and I was out. Followed us out to find out what was wrong. We left and contacted that our rep would like to work something out. This was about 35 minutes after we left. I said I assumed car was sold. Nope, it was still available. So was that couple a plant or did they also not like being told about the situation and realized they weren't taking a weekend test drive? Then another text offering to work out a deal and they would deliver to me. Shady, shady, shady business. On May 5th, at approximately 3:00 PM, I visited your establishment. I was greeted by Mr. Mario, to whom I expressed my interest in viewing the vehicle. He informed me that the truck was likely at an off-site location or in your service department, as it is occasionally utilized for operational tasks. He stated that he would need to retrieve it and bring it back to the lot for my inspection. When I inquired about the estimated timeframe, he was unable to provide a definitive answer but took my contact information, promising to notify me upon the truck's return. Regrettably, I did not receive any communication from Mr. Mario for the remainder of that day. The following day, I awaited an update without success. Consequently, I initiated a text message to Mr. Mario for an update. His response indicated that the truck was still not on-site but could be made available the following day, which was his scheduled day off. This lack of timely and clear communication is concerning. Whether Paramount sold it to me knowingly or through gross negligence is still unclear, but what is clear is their response after the fact. After I independently verified the situation with law enforcement and the original selling dealer, and after being formally instructed by authorities regarding the seizure, Paramount Auto Sales has refused to issue a refund. Instead of doing the right thing, they are forcing me to go through the stress, expense, and aggravation of legal action, which I am now pursuing -- and I absolutely have a strong case. BUYER BEWARE!!! They refused to provide the tax form that you must have to get your EV tax credit! I called and asked for the tax form (15400) and they flat out refused. With respect, that is absurd. A dealership should not just decide arbitrarily to not electronically submit this form to the IRS. As such I cannot claim the credit and will lose out on $3000. The used EV credit can be up to $4000 and the new EV credit is good for up to $7500! It is entirely up to the dealership to submit this form to the IRS (which they can do electronically). Your EV MUST be in the IRS database of your claim will be denied. This credit is a BIG deal for used and new EV sales. To just refuse to deal with it seems entirely unacceptable and is damaging to the customer as it is something that they may not realize they need until months later. What stung the most was The guy on the phone's ONLY response when I called the dealership. he said we don't do that and checked with his manager. I told him that it has to come from them and this was effectively costing me $3000 and his response was, "yeah, that sucks." BUYERS of EVs BE WARNED. Well if they would inspect the car before selling the car it might prevent problems. FYI The Car Lot is owned by the same people. I bought a 2015 Honda Odyssey on July 1. Today is July 24 I have had the car for partial amount time of 6 days. The rest of the time they have had It in their "shop" which it is even questionable if there is a shop. The AC wasn't working day 1. They said they fixed it 5 times and always said it was working. The last time it went in they finally gave me a replacement car to drive while they fixed it again. It's been over five days and the temporary plate on the replacement car has expired. They said at the time of purchase that they would give me 30 days to bring it back to take care of any problems. I'm going to guess that they don't mean 30 days of me having the car in my possession. They swear to having the best mechanics in the city. I don't think that's possible if they can't fix AC in Tucson and they have had the car for almost 20 days in the shop!I DO NOT recommend purchasing a car from Paramount Auto Sales or the Car Lot. If I ever get the car back and it's working for more than 10 minutes I might consider changing this review. I got the car back Friday July 26 the car still blew hot air. When we left they asked if I would change my review now! They swore that they put $2000 of parts into it and it still doesn't work. I took the car to BigO to have them check the AC checked. They did $300 of work on the car and the AC is working for the first time in a month of owning the car. I went back to a Paramount and asked them to pay me this $300. The said they fixed it and it was working. They said they did the same work that BigO did. Even if they have the best mechanics they couldn't fix it. I asked to see the work orders for the $2000 of work they did and they wouldn't give it to me. All they want is good reviews online. They don't care if the cars work. Big O said the cabin filter needed to be changed. Paramount didn't even do that before selling the car. They asked me to leave instead of the opportunity for me making the review better by refunding the cost for me to fix the car. On November 19th 2024 I bought a used 2016 BMW X3 from Paramount Auto Sales. Since a week after purchasing the vehicle the check engine light has been on and I have been struggling to work with Paramount (specifically with Michael Wood the service manager) to get this on code P0440 resolved. After 3 or 4 trips to their "Shop". The last trip was on May 15th 2025 where I informed them I would be going out of town. They just replaced the fuel cap again and cleared the codes. This resulted in my fuel level sensor to malfunction and running out of gas twice before I could return to my home state and get it repaired. Over the past week of returning I have tried to contact Michael Wood numerous times to get my car looked at with no response all week. On June 15th 2025 the vehicle threw 2 new emission control codes along with 4 new misfire codes. Sent photos and text messages to Michael. Went into the dealership today to come up with a game plan for the vehicle to be towed and was met with hostility and no cooperation. When I left I was told they "might tow" my car. I'm pregnant and have 2 young toddlers. There is zero compassion or respect from this dealership especially after selling me a car they knew had issues. read more

Buyer beware, after purchasing a 2007 Dodge Nitro it was approximately 3 days before the vehicle immediately began to deteriorate with door handles literally coming off in my 8 year old daughters hands and a leaking sun roof causing structural damage. I have had the car for less than a year and have taken it to be repaired exactly 7 times. 3 under warranty and 4 by personal mechanics not "covered" under their warranty contract, which is shady at best. If you appear to know little about vehicles or happen to be female you will be treated like an idiot who doesn't know about cars or engines. I happen to be a student of aviation with an A&P license. I didn't bother explaining in too much detail why I knew they were blowing smoke, I try not to argue with feeble minds.The final straw came when after several failed attempts to contact the owner DANI with an I about complaints regarding his service Department about making an appointment (my passenger side window fell off the rails which led to my car being vandalized and my registration stolen). I realized this business was not worth dealing with and the owner cares nothing for his consumers or their families. A broken window with 30 degree temperatures and rain with an 8 year old is so wrong and completely avoidable. Since there were no attempts for him to contact me or even respond I had no choice but to contact my lawyerfor breach of contract, as well as file formal complaints with the BBB, Mark Brnovich with the attorney general's office in AZ,DMV, FTC etc. There is so much more I could write about this horrible and negligent business and their staff but I won't bother reiterating. We'd been looking at cars for a couple of months but were strapped for both cash and credit. We'd been to several used card dealerships in Tucson. Once we got serious about taking action I called Paramount and spoke with Rob. We made an appointment for later that day. We had a phenomenal experience. Rob knew a lot about cars generally and diesels specifically. We were looking at a diesel VW Passat. I jokingly complimented him for being a bit of a geek. I much prefer a knowledgeable and friendly geek over a high-pressure salesperson. We like the car but had promised ourselves to consider a couple of other options. One large dealership on Speedway didn't bother to come out to greet us at all - not even after touring the entire lot. We pulled up in a 2016 Ford F-350 so we didn't look as broke as we were. LOL! The second larger dealership we went to on Alvernon also did not greet us until we'd toured half the lot and came to the porch to "bother" the salesman, who ended up being condescending. We couldn't get back to Paramount fast enough that afternoon! We ended up with the Passat and love it! The whole process from selection and negotiation with Rob to financing with Al was a pleasure, for what is usually a not so fun experience. Thanks Rob and Al!!! This review is a few months late. However, I had such a great experience purchasing a vehicle from Paramount, I wanted to share my it. After my previous car needed a new engine, I decided to just purchase another car. I normally buy a new car from a dealership because I am wary of buying from a used car salesman. However, because of my current financial status and not prepared for buying another car, I did wanted to keep my car payment under 300 per month and be able to pay it off in four years. My wife and I looked for a vehicle for under $10,000 while still being under 100,000 miles and in good condition. We went to a few used car lots and did not find anything close to our parameters. Additionally, a few salesmen we encountered gave that stereotypical feeling of them trying to pull one over on us. Then we went to Paramount and met Phillip Lineberry. At Paramount, we found a 2015 Cruze for around 10,000 and had less than 40,000 miles. Phillip did not give any pressure and allowed us to decide for ourselves if this was a car for us. He did not hassle us and was very professional when it came to answering our questions about the process of buying from Paramount. He worked with our Credit Union to allow them to finance the loan. Because of his professionalism, we decided to buy a car from Paramount. He even allowed me to take the car to the mechanic of my choosing before I bought it. During the process, Phillip mentioned their $1,000 mile or 30 day warranty. Personally, I thought most car dealerships give this promise and assumed it was mostly a gimmick. However, about two days after I bought the car, I noticed one of the tires had a leak. I called Philip and he made an appointment at a mechanic to look at the fire. The tire already had several patches and Phillp had no problem buying two new tires for the car. Paramount lived up to their warranty. I am extremely satisfied with my experience with Paramount and their salesman Phillip. I recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a good price for a good used vehicle. read more

I purchased a car from them in December/January and it's been a constant nightmare. David is okay with work with, Rob is really good at pretending his cares, but reassured he's just a salesman. I test drove this car and went inside to sign the paperwork, came back out and it wouldn't start. They gave my a loaner and I had it for days before I got my car and it had more issues. It took them weeks to replace some of the issues that were too drastic for them to hide. Trust that once that paperwork is signed I you will meet a very different side of that staff. Paramount Auto Sales Tucson, AZ November 14, 2020 Rotten experience. It started from the beginning when the salesman on the phone expressed the great condition on the 2012 VW Eos. When I flew in from Denver and saw the car was pretty dirty and a number of rough parts. He lied that he thought I wasn't coming even though I had sent a $500. deposit that was cashed and given him my flight schedule. Stuff was missing or rough, but I liked the car regardless. Then the employees lied about the history as to a recent used motor replacement that had troubles after being put in. I found out only by calling the repair shop listed on Carfax that put in the motor. Promised parts missing were never shipped to me and I kept getting a runaround about why and when. I paid for several parts but had to hassle to get a promised payment for them. Then it was "check in the mail" excuses many times. Same runaround on the return of $695. payment I made for gap insurance which I cancelled a few days after making it. Insurance payment was to be refunded in full immediately if cancelled within 30 days, but even though I cancelled within a week, it took two months to get the money back that was being held by Paramount all the time. Then were the items necessary to be fixed. I spent $4,000. on new wheel rims and repair of a dangerous condition of stripped out bolts on a rear hub and all the incorrect wheel bolts, bent wheels, replacing the wrong kind of radiator fluid, changing the bad condition brake fluid, four-wheel alignment, broken wire on the retractable top, cleaning the paint condition, broken door handle, and many more things. It's true that oil change, tire balance, all filters, plugs, bubbly window tint replacement, transmission work, and smoothing out body repairs somewhat could be considered my problem and my responsibility, but who gets a car that needs $4,000. worth of work right off the bat when they don't know it? Just to make it clear, I should have had an outside VW dealer mechanic check over the car before I signed the papers, so that was on me. And even with the hassle, they did cover the cost of some missing parts and some repairs, but I still was out over $3,000. for stuff. Keep in mind that their agreement of 2,000 miles and you can return it isn't true, the history they give you may not be true, and if you don't have everything before you drive it off the lot, you may never get it. This place is a joke! Sold my husband a car which they damaged before delivering in THE DARK 2 days after it was supposed to be here. They brought it on E around 8pm and after telling him he had 15 days or 500 miles to decide if he likes it that was a lie! He has messaged the salesman several times and now they are saying that the only way he can return it is if it's mechanical problems! All of the paperwork they had him sign had less mileage than what was actually on the vehicle when they brought it. The salesman Dave has dodged every question and concern my husband brought up. Car began leaking oil and misfiring right after leaving the lot, I paid $4500 for a rear main seal to be repaired by the car manufacturer. So we said we would buy the one she wanted. Easy order process, friendly, professional, met the owner who eliminated any concerns we might have had, explained how they check out cars, offered to give us the car for 24 hours for our mechanic to check out the car. So after our test drive and some discussion, we went to the bank for Ben Franklins, yet they had financing options, and after some form filling out, paper plates on the car and she drove home with a smile on her face, knowing bought the vehicle she was looking for. I was very hesitant about the whole thing given i have had some horrible experiences buying a car in the past. I had the pleasure of working w ROB! I went in at the beginning of June jus to go in and weigh out my options, after we decided i would take care of some personal things and come back later on when i was more prepared. The one thing i really respect about ROB is that he didn't bother me w calls or emails after, he let me do my thing and b/c of that i didn't feel so much pressure. I had been looking around for a few months to replace our car. I did the online search and Paramount came up a few times . We were looking around the lot when Daniel came out to introduce himself . I had a particular car I wanted to see but unfortunately it had already been sold .I explained what we were looking for and Daniel was very helpful pointing out a few on the lot. We took a Nissan Versa out for a test drive. I was hesitant to buy a car without an independent inspection but was reassured when I was told if there was any problem I could come back within 15 days for any repairs needed . I had the car inspected and they found the serpentine belt was cracked, said the car had no other issue. I took the car back to Paramount and told Rob what the inspection found, Paramount were great and called a shop they use . I got the car in same day the serpentine belt was replaced and I was on my way. When it comes to used cars, I wouldn't go anywhere else in Tucson. I have bought all my cars from Mike at Paramount auto and have never had a problem. They always have a nice selection of cars for every budget and taste. They also work hard to get you financed. This place doesn't even deserve one star. Very unprofessional and rude. Daniel ( the owner) never returns any calls. Finance guy is super rude. I traded my car for a truck and they refuse to pay off the trade in. I traded the car in October and now it's April and they still have my trade in that I am still paying for and refuse to pay the pay off from the other lender. Don't waste your time or money for on this place. They will smile and be super nice so they can get you to buy but once they have to do something for you, they will completely ignore your calls and avoid you completely. We bought a car here and the process was great. They are friendly and up front. They accommodate odd hours as well. No pressure sales at all. they are a USAA certified car dealer as well. They work hard to keep that in good standing. It is local and a hole in the wall but a good late model inventory fairly priced! read more
