I also needed some help getting a new wind stop/chain installed on a swinging screen door in the basement. They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. Jason and his team renovated the whole basement by installing drywall, replacing the drop ceiling with a conventional ceiling and new lighting, and covering the entire floor with functional but attractive laminate. They went above and beyond to make sure we were involved in the design and satisfied with the results. In addition, they replaced our kitchen floor, which had some water damage, with beautiful ceramic tile to complement the existing quartz counters. This is the second major project Jason has done for us. He previously remodeled a bathroom for us, replacing all the fixtures and flooring, as well as installing a pocket door. He tried to upsell unnecessary foundation work even after professionals confirmed everything was fine. He pressured us for a down payment, then refused to take check, Venmo, or Zelle--only Cash or Cash App, which was suspicious. After being paid, it took a week just to start, and when he did, he showed up late, left early, and constantly canceled with far-fetched excuses. We finally had to threaten legal action, and only then did he send someone else who finished the job in five hours. Dishonest, unreliable, and misleading. Do not hire him or Next Generation Construction LLC.
