Went today. Got tacos and margaritas. Tacos should not be on the menu if the steak is going to be over cooked and the fish is undercooked. Pork taco was good. Margaritas were so weak; I got three and not even a lil buzz. Service was good but bc they're changing shifts they ask way too many times if you wanna pack up. Also something I said to the server was repeated by a diff server on my way out. It was something silly but it was odd. read more

This was a gastropub with lots of food items to choose from. There was a small bar inside and a patio outside with a good amount of seating. The menu had a number of appealing options and the service was friendly and accommodating given some of our requests. I just had the wings ($14) with their voodoo sauce. The voodoo sauce consisted of honey, sriracha, and soy. There were only about 8 wings, so the price was a little much. The voodoo sauce was great. I was a little concerned this would be too sweet, but that was not the case at all. All 3 blended nicely together and the chicken was of good quality. I also tried the mini ahi taco which consisted of avocado, cucumber, and spicy mayo. These were extremely small, which was my only complaint. I also tried their Oreo mousse and no complaints there. Will I go back? Yes. read more

So good. They were definitely short handed but our waitress was great. Food was good. Beer selection has been better but plenty of choices.

Work close by so decided to come in an try the place and it was a great experience, decided to try the short ribs dinner which was great and my husband had one of the best beers he ever had which made me happy because he is not a beer drinker ! We had a couple appetizers which didn't disappoint and the food came out at a reasonable time. A little pricey in my opinion but won't stop us from coming back to try other things on the menu ! read more

An all time favorite of ours. The food is delicious and inspired. The atmosphere is lively especially on nights where they he live music. The service is always perfect. Paragon Tap & Table got it RIGHT!! From the outside set up, to the service, to the food- IT'S ALL GOOD! We went on a Saturday evening around 6:30pm and the outside seating area was almost full. The hostess asked if we had a reservation and we didn't but we still managed to get a table! I suggest making a reservation because this place gets packed! The menu is full of so much goodness, that it was difficult for us to decide what to order. The waitress suggested the pineapple wings for an app and I'm very glad she did! Those were some of the best chicken wings I've had in a very long time, and I've had LOTS of wings in my life, LOL! Everything we ordered was delicious and reasonably priced. They're kid friendly! The service was GREAT! They had a live band playing which we enjoyed! There's lots of parking! read more

We ordered 4 different burgers to go And they were not what I would expect for the price. The meat was tough and dry and they lacked flavor. The fries were okay but overall I was disappointed in the quality of the food. read more

We have passed this place numerous times in Clark NJ. We finally decided to try it out today! Here are the deets: Food - We came on a Sunday for their brunch menu. My fiancée got the Five and Dime Pizzeta: * Crispy Chicken * Fried Egg * Bacon * Cheddar Cheese * Country Gravy * Garlic Syrup. It was really yummy, but the garlic syrup is actually more like maple syrup? So we were not prepared for that as the syrup to this very savory pizza. So it threw us off a bit. But it was loaded and a perfect brunch dish! I got the NY Strip Steak with Eggs and Sausages. Perfectly cooked, eggs nice and runny. Rosemary potatoes nice and tender. Your typical yummy steak and eggs. The calamari was equally delicious!! Only thing is that it was meant to come with cherry peppers, but ours didn't. And we got sad seeing the couple next to us get it! Ha. Overall, food is great. And staff is so friendly! Such a cute vibe. We will be coming here again! read more

I just wanted to take a moment to rave a little about my new favorite place: Paragon Tap and Table. Now that my family has been there a few times, I can tell you without hesitation that the food, the drinks, the atmosphere and the staff have been consistently AWESOME! My husband and son are obsessed with the short ribs and burgers, but I love to try different things every time I go, and so far: I haven't found a thing that I wouldn't order again. The Portobello Quesadilla is amazing, "Enough Said" is one of my favorites, Mussels & Frites...Not gonna lie: I get a bunch of starters "for the table," lol...because I can never decide on just one. Very cool beer selections, creative cocktails...If we're even remotely near Paragon, my family knows the odds are good that we'll be stopping in. Staff is amazing, attentive and so welcoming. If you haven't tried it: Treat yourself! read more

I ordered online through their website my order said it would come by 655 an hour after I ordered. When I called the restaurant at 705 they didn't have any info about my order. Suddenly they found it sitting and waiting for someone to pick it up. The manager hung up on me stating they were there. I received it at 720 The presentation was less to be desired. I had to warm my food up which made my medium rare filet to medium now, after resting and reheating. The food was actually pretty good considering. I will NOT reorder from their online website and not sure the price was worth the food to dine in the restaurant. read more

On the advice of my oldest son, we decided to go and try Paragon Tap & Table. We were in the mood for burgers and beers so this place fit the bill. While the menu contains much more than burgers, we just went for burgers, wings and some craft beers. Because I was designated driver, I opted for a cup of the French onion soup, which was delicious, in lieu of beer. (Although I did taste my wife's beers). To start, we shared the Bavarian pretzels and an order of wings with whiskey chipotle sauce. The wings were amazing, cooked perfectly with a bit of a crunch and the sauce was tasty and sweet with a kick at the end. My wife and I both opted for the beer burger. They were cooked properly with mine being medium and my wife's was medium rare. Large and juicy with nice plump steak fries. Our friend went for the southwest burger. She was very satisfied with her burger. The Russian Imperial Jug handle beer was one of the best beers I have ever tasted. It was dark and had a slightly burgundy flavor. The other beer was a Pilsner with citrus notes. I forgot the name, but it was nice. Our server Dakota was pleasant and attentive, and the manager, Mike, stopped by several times and seemed to truly care about his guests. I can't wait to return and try more of the menu, this time NOT as the designated driver. read more

Had dinner here, the food was good. My only complaints are that the service was slow And the place was very loud. Making it hard to have a conversation. Having said that I did eat there on a Saturday night. Overall would go back. It was also very reasonably priced. read more

This is a nice little restaurant on the corner of a building in the back of a small shopping center. I would come back and try some of their drinks. Their drinks sounded pretty good. The food was okay. The braised short ribs were good at the beginning but the salt started to become overbearing. Their fries were pretty good but their chicken sandwich left something to be desired. Make no mistake about it, this place is good but not "slap your momma" great. read more

Been meaning to try this place for a while and finally hit it last week. I'll preface by saying I ordered to go and it's about a 20min drive to my house. I started with the Buffalo chicken dip with chips and an order of wings(half chipotle whiskey and half Buffalo). Both were good. The chips tasted fresh and the dip had good flavor. The wings were on point! Especially the chipotle whiskey. They are not huge wings but big enough to not ruin your entree. For the meal I had the Wild Boar burger with pineapple salsa and truffle fries. The burger was HUGE and flavorful. The pineapple sauce was interesting (haha) provided a different taste but it worked. My reason for only 4 stars was the fries. They were soggy and that have been be due to not eating them immediately and the drive home. Overall I recommend this spot and will dine in next time. read more

Food tastes terrible. The short rib entrees have no flavor, tastes like something you would feed a dog. Rum punch they served was cheap liquor that didn't taste like it was mixed with anything. Will never order from here again. read more

Paragon Tap does this thing where they try to do a smattering of various cuisines. Are the dishes done well? I would say that they are consistently average or slightly above in the tasty realm. Their salads are spot on and fresh, their sides, feel cooked to order and deliciously savory. I love their plaintain nachos and duck quesadilla as well the burrata salad. All of these have decent portions and use solid ingredients. I've eaten outside mostly in summer and fall with a snack of parm truffle fries or calamari. The service is kind and generally good, mostly arrives in a timely manner. Ambiance isn't anything particularly stand out or out of the ordinary. Average NJ. bar like surroundings. This is not necessarily the most flavorful or splendorous meal, but there are pleasant times with outside dining and gastropub menu. Obviously, if you're a drinker, this place is even better. I'm not, but I can enjoy a good snack in the sun. I give this place a strong 3.5 with an upvote for standard nice service. read more

everything was perfect from the minute we sat down. Excellent service, the drinks were delicious and the portions of food were huge. Everything was really delicious and beautifully presented. I seen this place many times but never paid it any attention. I finally made reservations and tried it. When I arrived I was seated by the hostess right away. I was served by a waitress named Robin but the service was a team effort. I ordered the veggie burger with fries and a glass of wine. My friend ordered the short rib and vegetables also the shrimp appetizer. She enjoyed her food and said the meat was so tender. I enjoyed the sandwich but loved the fries. The ambiance of the place was cute. They even had live amateur music. read more

Paragon continues to be top tier and absolutely blow away me and my family. For starters, they are taking covid measures very seriously, which was great to see. You wear a mask weaving between outdoor tables and to the restroom, and all the servers wore masks as well. All of the tables were distanced from each other so you didn't have to worry about being too close to other diners either. As for the food, I was utterly obsessed with the summer Salmon and Jicama Succotash dish I ordered. It was cooked perfectly, and the corn and sprouts topping the dish provided a terrific contrast to the briny tang of the sauce. And the drinks? I think I'm going to dream of how refreshing and delicious my Pina Colada Mojito was. I'm also super impressed with their service. Our waitress Lisa was attentive, polite, and as personable as someone can be from behind a mask! The man who seemed to be the manager stopped by our table too to see how we were getting on and then, when he saw we had their yummy Voodoo Wings on the table, he went to the trouble of grabbing more napkins and hand wipes himself and bringing them back to the table. From now on too, I'm going to look for nights when Paragon has Nick Keena returning as their music performer. His song choice was immaculate, and his personality was off-the-charts fun as heck, as evidenced by his commentary between folk rock performances, scatting ability, and tip jar which read "Tip/Bail". Can't wait to come back again soon. read more

We have a choice of outdoor or indoor dining. They are great at keeping tables 6ft or more apart. Service is great. We have been here twice. First time I ordered the Southwest Burger with fries! It was amazing. We had tiramisu for dessert delicious! My husband ordered a burger I just don't remember which one. Second time my husband ordered the Stout Burger and I the Crispy chicken sandwich both with fries. Again, delicious! For dessert my husband ordered the caramel cheesecake and I the carrot cake. The cheesecake was great(of course I tried his dessert) and the carrot cake was a bit dry/stale. We'll be back soon! read more

What?!? I didn't take a photo of my food before eating?! Well like I was going to wait a second longer to shovel the chicken, mozzarella and pesto sandwich in my mouth! Other great dishes at the table included, a salad- brought out to the table in a jar that our waiter shook and then poured on a plate, wings and some very tasty Mac and cheese! I was visiting NJ and this was the choice for a birthday dinner. The beer selection is great, if you are in to beer. I know it's a bit sacrilegious but I just ordered a Sam Adams (my 1st love). Our service was great. He went out of his way to make the 8 year old feel special on his big day! There was live music at the bar and if I was attending a birthday dinner for an 8 year old and if I didn't work the next day I would have been down for sitting at the bar and listening to the band. I plan to visit this area on an adult trip and this restaurant will definitely be in the list! read more

We went to this place for brunch on a Sunday. Their draft beer is pretty good. Service: The restaurant during that hour of lunch was rather empty save for 2 other tables in the entire restaurant. The service was quick because it was not busy at the time, but the service from my particular sever was not the best, despite that. My order was inaccurately taken, and the server was not knowledgeable about the menu items. Server was shown a recent photo from Yelp asking if that menu item was available, was told that it was not available, then somehow find it on the menu, so pointed to it, ordered it, then ended up receiving a completely different dish. However, the server was notified and did remedy the situation by promptly returning the dish back and bringing out the correct dish. For another dish ordered, the fish tacos received were baked rather than battered as requested, which was fine, so did not bother the server to change the order for that. Food: Food turned out to be average. Originally came here based on the interesting menu items seen on Yelp photos, offerings which are no longer available, which happens, as menus change. They are currently restructuring their menu, so a couple of menu items are stamped with "kicked" and a lot of interesting items that first attracted me to coming here are now off the menu, sadly. Perhaps future menu offerings may be more unique and better-tasting. read more

Celebrating the engagement of my daughter here. We're about forty people in attendance. I ordered baked Salmon with seasonal veggies and mashed potato. My wife ordered flat iron steak, medium well. The salmon was grilled, marinated, soft and moist. The fish blended well with roasted veggies. It's delicious. The steak was grilled exactly medium well. Soft and moist, not dry. Taste great! Serving staff are courteous and well experienced, know what their doing. This place is not good for romantic dining. Serving is above average. Lunch menu price is average. Dinner menu is pricey. Clean and separate Men and Women's bathroom. Friendly managers on the floor, observing and helping out their customers in need. read more

This place is located in an outdoor mall. Ate outside on their deck. A nice enough set up considering it's location. Menus were downloadable (single use menus would have been appreciated). Service was friendly and attentive. We were visited by the manager (owner?) on numerous occasions to check on us. A decent selection of draft beer was available and my wife's cocktails were very good. We ordered Santa Fe chicken salad to split for starters. The salad, even when split was very large. It was also delicious! Loaded with beans, corn, bacon etc. The chicken was tender and well seasoned. We then ordered pan seared scallops to split as an entree. Again a delicious meal. 6 large, perfectly cooked scallops surrounded by asparagus onions and cherry tomatoes. Music was provided by a guy with a guitar until the rain started. A nice night.....we'll be back! read more

Chose this place for my best friends surprise brunch because it was the only spot that took reservations. I really expected more out of it in every sense, but the food ranged from eh okay to just not good. The only thing we mildly enjoyed was the French onion soup which took way too long to come out. My boyfriend got the wings and he was really unsatisfied. They were noticeably overcooked/burnt and dry. The breakfast tacos were okay but really bland, like something you can whip up in a couple minutes at home. The avocado filet was really disappointing. Just some leaves with some crunchy things and a mushy, blackening avocado on top. The waitress was really nice, especially given we had a party of 14 indecisive girls, but that's about. read more
