It's sort of wild! He will explain it to you, too which is nice. I was shocked with how little pain I had. The entire staff is awesome. The front desk gals explained all my insurance info and also answered questions about a new potential insurance I thought about picking up. I cannot recommend enough.

DISCRIMINATION!!!!…read more I've been coming for years and up until January '23 I have felt discriminated against. I've been scheduled twice in the past 3 months for a cleaning and a tooth extraction and they have done neither! They claim things will take more time so they can't do it, like my cleaning in January. At that time I also scheduled a tooth extraction for March, did I receive that? No. I guess they take blood pressure now unbeknownst to me and couldn't give anesthesia because my blood pressure was "too high." I was given a referral to go somewhere else to get a root canal even though they have an Edodontist on site because I looked it up. They'll do all the x-rays in the world, but won't treat me. A complete waste of money. Just ridiculous. I'm sure they're happy I won't be returning and the feeling is mutual.

I expressed my concern about getting a large bill. I asked if they were in contact with both insurance companies. I asked if they had my insurance right? (primary/secondary)? It was at the time. Then, in 2025, claims were not sent to my secondary insurance! Then I found claims sent to my primary insurer were coded for D. Sammans as out of network. And then the primary/secondary were switched. I have tried since late 2025 to get straightened out. This has been a nightmare. No resolution as of today. I get the runaround. As for care, I am not sure. Dr. Sammans did an implant for me. There is a small gap between the implant and the next tooth. He looked at it. He did not see one.

I was pushed into treatments that were presented as necessary, with the implication that my oral health was at serious risk. Later, I was left with a $900 bill when my insurance did not cover the treatment, despite being told the office would verify coverage beforehand. No cash discount or payment flexibility was offered, and when I raised concerns, the front desk staff showed little empathy or accountability. I was told they relied on a piece of paper for insurance information instead of confirming coverage directly. Overall I felt pressured, misled, and unsupported. I would strongly advise others to thoroughly verify treatment necessity and insurance coverage before proceeding here.

My first appointment was on a Monday at 10:00 a.m. I spent five hours in the office, yet the only thing completed was X-rays--even though I had already paid for three services, including what was supposed to be a simple cleaning. Throughout the visit, it was obvious the staff was not communicating with one another. Multiple employees asked me what treatment I was there for, not to verify my information, but because they genuinely didn't seem to know. I returned that Friday for my 12:00 p.m. appointment and wasn't seen until nearly 2:00 p.m. While discussing my treatment plan, the dentist refused to perform a service that I had already paid for. When I questioned it, the finance department told me the decision was mine. However, after I made my choice and paid, the dentist still said no. It made no sense to be told I had a choice only to have that choice disregarded. My cleaning was eventually completed by a different dentist. Most concerning is what happened afterward. I came to this office because an old crown had come off. I had no jaw pain whatsoever before either visit. Since my second appointment, I have had severe jaw pain for the past eight days. When I reached out about it, I was told it was because of the dental work I need or because of a deep cleaning. Neither explanation made sense. My teeth don't hurt, and I did not even receive a deep cleaning. What was even more frustrating was that the person explaining what was supposedly causing my pain was someone from the finance department. With all due respect, someone who handles billing and insurance is not the appropriate person to assess or explain a dental issue. I expected to speak with a dentist or another qualified dental professional. Overall, this office felt disorganized, poorly managed, and lacking communication. Between the excessive wait times, conflicting information, treatment delays, and the complete lack of accountability afterward, this was an incredibly disappointing experience. This is exactly the kind of experience that makes people dread going to the dentist.
