The facilities, recently updated and refurbished, are comfortable, cutting edge, beautiful, and comfortable. Even the music was uplifting and enjoyable. I could save money by going somewhere else, but I don't because I trust the work they're doing. They offer me a blanket, pillow and water at longer appointments like fill-ins. I'll always say yes to a blanket! ;) They're totally fine with me putting in my headphones and listening to music or podcasts so I can drown out the noise while they work. They really do their best to make sure your comfortable, your questions are answered, and your teeth and gums are in good health. I was with Makenzie the day I'm writing this review and she is a great hygienist! She did my latest cleaning and did a wonderful job. She was also super friendly and good at explaining things as she did them. Be sure to call and book your appointment in advance! It's usually that appointments are only available a month away from when I call. Note: I wrote a review of Bacsa Family Dentist when they were going by Emerson Ave Dental in a different building. When I found that Dr. Mark Bohnert had hired two of the very trusted professionals who had assisted Dr. Hayes I decided that I would make an appointment and see how it went. It was further than I usually would drive, as I'm near downtown and have heard of some excellent dentists there. I have now been to see Dr. Bohnert and am very happy with him personally and his office and staff. This is a family dentist's office! If you are looking for a dentist's office that is modern, highly professional, and family friendly I recommend you pay them a visit. I am completely satisfied. I will miss Dr. Hayes. Amazing ! The last…read moretime I was at the dentist was 27 years ago. Yes that's 27 !!! Most of my teeth in the back are completely eroded and rotten. Anyway, last night was the first time I had unbearable pain. And at 1am I gave in and came here just to get a simple extraction. The staff was very friendly and professional. Dr Ansari who took care of me was fantastic. Not only did he extract the problem tooth, he gave me the idea of extracting every bad tooth in my mouth and get a game plan going to rebuild. A very painless procedure, I did op for the sedation that will cost a little extra, but totally worth it. So 8 extractions later I dare to even say it was enjoyable experience. I can not emphasize enough how attentive and friendly Dr Ansari was. a true professional. I actually look forward going back and getting more consultations and game plan going for my implants. I would definitely recommend going here.

The 1 thing they really really need to work on is time and communication. Every time I've gone in I'm in the waiting room for at least 30-40 minutes before moving to another room to sit for another 15-20 mins. I'm a pretty calm and patient person but today I was very upset with sitting in the waiting are for 50 mins then in the procedure room for another 20 minutes just for them to tell me nothing was being done today because I was scheduled for a crown and would I like to schedule for my filling procedure another day? I made it clear when I was last there that I did not want a crown so I know that was the story they came up with just to have an explanation to why it's 530pm and my appointment was at 4pm and I'm being told this mess that of course would upset them as well had they been in my shoes. something that should have and could have been discussed over the phone in 5 mins took 1 hour and 30 freakin minutes not including my drive over after getting off from work. I was beyond upset.. I simply grabbed my purse and calmly walked out with no words. The only reason I will schedule my filling with them is because it's free with my insurance but anything else my insurance does not cover I've decided to go elsewhere to spend my money and my time well with an office that's not only polite and professional speaking but one that also values my time and perhaps knows how to effectively schedule patients for what they ask for. time management is what the Emerson location lacks most and it's freakin ridiculous! I think I can add accountability to the list as well because I doubt anyone from the office will even call to apologize and/ or reschedule my appointment after seeing I was clearly upset as I walked out.
