Another Great visit - Relaxation just off the Branson Strip…read more - - - - - - - - September, 2025 Visit Short Summary: Great property near everything yet can and relaxing. Located on the Yellow Route and close to Reza Theater, the Titanic, and about 15 minutes from Salt Lake City- - -Additional information : My wonderful wife planned a getaway to Branson Labor Day weekend 2025, and we had a great time. Each time we've visited, we have stayed at Willow Ridge. We have typically been in rooms near the pool; this trip on the 5th floor with a view away from the pool, to the south. We hadn't realized when we scheduled the trip, but this 2025 Labor Day weekend, Branson hosted the US Navy Blue Angels for the first time, and we could see the show from our balcony - wonderful! - - - The property - - - Three buildings; 5 floors apiece. You can see the Branson Strip (Hw 76) but you don't hear the commotion. To the south is a great view of the Ozark hills.- - -The room- - -The rooms are standard MVCI / Marriott Vacation Club rooms:- 2 bedrooms, one king and two full sized beds- 2 bathrooms- Laundry- Kitchens with servings for 8 and all the utensils you need; refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, microwave and coffee machine.. with coffee available; just ask housekeeping for more- Patio table and chairs with a view- nice!Recommendation: bring a Bluetooth speaker for music.- - - Activities- - -In the main building there is football, ping pong / table tennis, an exercise room, a place for kids to have fun, and more. We spent most of our time at the pool; there are hot tubs. We also played a round of disc golf - this seems to be a simple course, but it does have surprising challenges; more MVCIs should have disc golf like Willow Ridge does!- - - MarketPlace- - -The MarketPlace is in the lobby; is a smaller shop. Also there are daily and evening activities for free or minimal cost. I like the location near wal mart and price chopper, since rooms have kitchenettes or full kitchens. The resort is located right on the lake and you can rent JetSki's straight from the resort. This place is so beautiful and has views that are to die for! They even have a water trampoline that sits on the lake that is really fun for kids and adults! They have paddle boards and kayaks you can use as well for free. They really cater to their guests and make sure that it is an excellent time for the whole family!

Very spacious, plenty of room for 4 of us 2. Washer and dryer were huge, loved that. I didn't think I would like doing laundry on vacation, but I didn't mind and it came in handy to wash towels and bathing suits daily 3. Nice room sizes (except one) 4. Bathrooms were nice 5. Kitchen was nice, had everything we needed. We only cooked dinner there once though, so I'm not sure if anything essential was missing to cook more. 5. Pool area was very nice. If you have little kids, they'd love spending all day out there. 3 pools, water fall area, lazy river, splash pad, one slide, 3 hot tubs. Cons: 1. There were no blinds or curtains on the huge back windows. That's fine during the day I guess, but sitting in a lit room at night was not fun. Anyone could see in. I didn't like that at all. 2. We had to buy toilet paper, there was only 3 rolls provided for 5 days. And no tissues or paper towels. 3. For the most part it was clean. But walking on the floors, and then looking at your bare feet, there was dirt. Someone's underwear was left next to the washing machine, and my husband found some items underneath the dressers. Cobwebs everywhere. It feels like just a light clean was done between guests, not a deep clean. Not worth the money it cost. 4. The 3rd bedroom was basically a closet. Room for bunk beds and that's it. No TV, no dresser, no closet. 5. All of the hot tubs were a lukewarm temperature. And the jets didn't work on the 2 outdoor ones. I did email the owner about that thinking she might not have known, but honestly that is something that should be checked daily. Also the hot tub turned our fingernails and toenails blue/ green. I have no idea what was it that water, but that's never happened in my entire life. 6. The pool water was freezing. That probably wouldn't bother kids too much, but as an adult it would be nice for the water to be at least 75-78ish. 7. There were only 6 towels provided for 4 guests, I just think that maybe 2-3 per guest would be better. 8. Very very minimal dish soap. If we had cooked breakfast lunch and dinner daily, we would've ran out on day 2. 9. Laundry Detergent pods were provided, but those were scented so we had to buy our own. 10. The water temp in the showers could've been better. It got hot, but not as hot as I would like. Also the water left a white film on all of our bodies. My daughter felt like she couldn't get clean all week, her hair felt like straw. This could be a problem in the whole town though, I don't know what kind of water we were washing with. 11. Our grill did not work 12. We only had people staying above us for 2 out of 5 nights. And thank God for that because the insulation was awful, and it was so loud. 13. Beds and pillows were too stiff. I realize I have more cons than pros, but we really did enjoy this place, better than a hotel. I would stay here again. I just think that with the price it cost, everything should be included. I shouldn't have to purchase toilet paper and dish soap and paper towels, unless we used an excessive amount. Which we didn't.

The experience is marketed in…read morea way that strongly suggests you're seeing natural caves, waterfalls, and rock formations, but much of it is clearly artificial -- and that fact is not honestly advertised. The "waterfalls" have no natural river or water source connected to them, and in several places you can literally see exposed pipes feeding the water features. The cave and rock structures also appear heavily manufactured. In some areas, you can look underneath the rocks and plainly see man-made construction materials, including exposed particle board. I don't necessarily object to themed or artificial attractions when they're presented honestly. What bothered me was the misleading presentation. The tour tries to create the impression of a natural Ozarks landscape experience, but once you notice the construction details, it starts to feel more like a theme park set than a scenic nature tour. For the price charged, I expected authenticity and transparency. Instead, the experience felt staged and deceptive. I spoke with an employee about it afterwards, and he acknowledged it was fake and suggested I go elsewhere if I wanted to see real tock formations & waterfalls. I don't think I'll follow his advice, but I won't be coming back here.

You check in at the main building which had several nice features plus a great lobby with a computer, coffee selection and a fire pit/fireplace outside to enjoy. After being given our rooms we discovered we were right above the pool in building 7 which was a bit loud for us. We called the guest services who graciously moved us a few rooms to allow for a quieter experience which we greatly appreciated! It didn't take long at all and we could then get situated. The room has a nice round balcony with a table and chairs on which we could enjoy a meal and the view of the lake. It is also amazing how many birds you hear throughout the day! We lived that aspect. The elevators all access paths and rooms so they are handicapped accessible which is so helpful (visiting with an elderly relative who doesn't do stairs well). The grounds seem to be well tended with lots of fun amenities like a playground, tennis courts and lake access. We took a bit of a walk and enjoyed a bench down by the lake. Our room was well kept and had a gas fireplace which we thoroughly enjoyed on a rainy day. We also live that we can cook and eat in or go out. I love how firm and comfy the beds are, as well as how many extras they provide like towels, blankets, shampoos etc. We read a few reviews prior to coming that said the WiFi was horrid, but we had no trouble and my husband was even able to work remotely most of the time. It is a secure network as well which is super helpful. Not sure if it was our unit or building but it worked wonderfully for us. We have greatly appreciated our stay and love the care the staff takes with our questions. We recommend this spot for an out of the way stay!

We've been going here for over 20 years and there is always something new or cherished to do! You can't go wrong in this area which is 20-30 minutes from all the tourist attractions in Branson. Close enough to be convenient and far enough away to enjoy a quiet lake stay.
