I went with two of my friends 2 weeks ago and my friends nail tips have broken off, 3 of my nails have fallen off, my other friend had very advanced nails but my simple nails were the same price. The man who did my nails was not friendly at all and it looked like he was watching a video on how to do nails. They lied to my friend about what nails she should get. Unbelievably bad customer service. Will NEVER go to this place again. When we called to book appointments for four people, we asked what time on a particular day was available for all four of the people. Lady on the phone responded, "do you want me to read off every minute of the day for you???" Fast forward to visit. Our four people got a decent pedicure but then sat silently for 40 minutes while their toes dried. When we finally asked when we could leave, we were told, "oh, you can go." They just seemed to forget about the four people sitting there. Meanwhile, another lady complained that she had been waiting 15 minutes for her appointment to begin. Another lady who had been sitting at a nail table for 45 minutes said she wanted to leave and would come back another day because they were ignoring her. Three separate cases of horrible customer service at the same time. See a pattern here? Stood at the counter for 5 minutes waiting to pay. Asked the head lady twice to let us pay. She just ignored us. Finally went and found the other lady who had done our toes. She snapped loudly "I'M COMING!" She was visibly annoyed at having to take our money. Fortunately, she'll never have that problem with us again! Decided not to leave a tip, given the terrible customer service. Then the lady began insulting us in Vietnamese (yes, some of us can understand Vietnamese, surprise!). Felt like that Seinfeld episode when Elaine brought Frank Costanza to the nail salon to eavesdrop. Upon arrival on time, for a scheduled appt., I was told to take a chair for a pedicure where I waited for someone to assist me, which took approx. 45 min. After the service was completed, I was told to sit under the drying unit and sat there for another 45 min. when I got up and found an employee and said I wanted to pay and leave. The personnel acted like I was interrupting them. Went in to get hard gels removed and had my nail completely drilled through. It's going to take probably 6 months to grow out. It was painful, there was blood, and nothing was cleaned they just sent me on my way. Don't go here!! There are better places in town that care about how your nails look. read more

I walked in the door and asked if they had anyone that could do a re-base. The guy at the door says "no we don't do re-bases" he says, but we do refills... LOL. I knew right then, I found my place. I have been going to this salon for years, however, the last few times have not been the best experience. I had a new set put on about three weeks ago that were done very poorly. Pics below. However, the individual that did them was new so I did not make a stink. Today I went in for an appointment I had scheduled for another new set as the last set did not last long. I had a picture of what I was aiming for as it was a metallic color and I was not sure if they did those or how metallic colors work. When the tech asked me what I wanted, I showed her and she told me to pick a base color which I did not understand as I was under the impression metallics came in all sorts of colors. I then asked her if I could get what I had in the picture and she snapped "Yes, but you need a base color!" She then started grabbing colors off the wall grumbling and asked what ones I wanted and then said " you sat there all that time and didn't even pick a color" referring to when I first arrived to the salon. At this point, I just got up and left as I deal with enough nonsense, rude behaviour at my job so I sure don't need it when I'm going into pay for a service. I have been here twice in the last month toys summer. Both times I was reminded again why I don't go here. They rush through your service, and do a subpar job. Their prices for gel polish are ridiculous, even for kids. They painted over my cuticles with gel polish. My stepdaughter got her nails painted with gel polish, and they didn't even put a topcoat on a couple of her nails, yet charged $25! It looked terrible. Seems like half the people that worth there just rush and don't care about quality work. I also had made an appointment for a pedicure, but sat in my chair waiting for 25 minutes. Finally, a man that apparently works there, got up from his chair (he'd been sitting there the whole time just a few feet away from me, just starting straight ahead e) and started my pedicure without a word. I have been getting pedicures in the Paradise Nail Salon and enjoying their hour-long pedicures for a very long time. The massage chairs with basin attached are very nice. The last two times I have gone; the hour has turned into 30 minutes. $30 for 30 minutes seems a bit overpriced. My last visit was a 20 minute pedicure for $35; the price has gone up! In the newspaper this last month the vo-tech college, in the fall of 2023 are starting a beauty school. When I read the article, I said to myself, "Well, I am going to keep going to the Paradise because they baby my feet with massages, nail and cuticle trimming and it is $30 well spent for my comfort." I am going to change my mind; the Paradise has priced its services above my ability to pay. Their talking in Vietnamese among themselves has aggravated me all the time I have gone to the Paradise Nail Salon, but I just overlooked it. Ken is rad!! He not only did a truly fantastic job, but he also hunted for the specific color I wanted over my French. The pricing is more than reasonable, so I'm not sure why some reviews complain about the pricing. Definitely the most affordable job I've had in years. Typically I do my own mani/pedis, but I made an exception in order to spend time with a new friend today. The visit started out fine and then it changed. Reacting to pain when the clipping and filing got too vigorous was apparently offensive to the guy doing the pedicure. When I verbalized that he was hurting me, he threw up his hands and made a face, like "excuuuse me!" I let it go and continued visiting. When he went to use the cheese grater thingy, I said "No, don't use that, it hurts and I don't have calloused feet. Use the file." He started to use it, then put it down, called to Amy, the owner and said "I don't want to do this one anymore!", then he got up and left. As I was deciding my next move, the gal who was sent to replace him started to drain the tub and said she still had 20-30 minutes before she was done with her current client. She also asked me what happened and I told her. She again said if I just wait 30 minutes she can take over. Nope! I said I was leaving and never coming back. I can deal with some of the workers in these assembly line salons not speaking English, or even not being chatty, but this was outright rude. I repeat, I will never visit this place again. read more

DONT GO HERE GO TO PRO. Pro does not charge nearly as much and they do a WAY better job. This was an awful visit from the start. Myself and two others wanted our nails done before new years, our normal place (pro nails) was closed. We went in and when they told us to and we still waited for quite a bit (not a huge deal we had time and we understand). While we were waiting, we picked colors and what we were going to do and asked for prices. They told us the price and we made sure to not do any additions (they charge you for extra length and certain things). The price was $60 that they told us, that was not the price we were charged... The quality of the nails were awful. My nail and another girl i went with the paint is is peeling off, one of my nails broke two days after getting them done and the last girl we were with was overcharged for length but when she asked for them to be shorter and the nail tech told her no, also one of her nails is snapped through the middle. The environment was fine other than the guy doing my nails, he kept getting up in the middle of the appointment and leaving and staring at the girls making me uncomfortable. My feet were a wrinkled mess from 50 minutes soak before anyone got to me, then a quicky massage and maybe 40 seconds on the callouses for a whopping $30! They seated me at an empty dirty pedicure chair, the remote on the chair had left over food/drink crusted to the few remaining working buttons, the sterilization pouch that the brought out showed that the heat indicators had not been changed and to top it off they took the toe separators out between my toes to use on a lady sitting next to me. I waked in on a Saturday afternoon. I got Angie. O.M.G. I literally just had the best pedi I've had in a year. This was my first time coming to Paradise and I will most certainly be back. I had a very bad experience at Luxury after going there for the past year. I will most certainly be back to Paradise Nails. They were pretty busy and they all took their time with each client. Which I totally respect. Also, the techs were hilarious!!!! They all spoke very clear English, were professional, and incredibly talented. I have never been able to keep my nails from breaking and hated acrylics when I had them years ago. Kevin has changed all that with the Dip Nails (SNS) he does exceptionally well. He takes his time and you can tell he has very high standards regarding his own work. I highly recommend him, as well as Emily for pedicures; she can get after any problems you might have with feet and toes. Amy is wonderful as well. Site says open at 9 but it's earlier than that. I got there about 9:05 and there were 2 ladies already in the chairs for pedicures so I had to wait about 45 minutes. They were very busy and calls kept coming in for appts. Do not let the young male work on you. My experience at this salon was subpar. The girl that I got was very rude and very clearly did not want to do my nails. The man told me to choose who I wanted to do my nails and she was just playing on her phone so I figured she would be open. When I asked for her she rolled her eyes and looked very annoyed that I wanted to get my nails done, which is rude because she works at a nail salon. She rushed through the whole process leaving gel polish all over my skin and around my nails. The polish on the nails looks fine it's thick which is nice but not worth the price.
