The brewery hosts once a month a variety of local shops and businesses. My fiancé was one of the vendors. They did a great job with coordination and instructions. The beer selection was great. I got hammered and became the best marketing/PR/salesman for my fiancée. Food was good but not amazing. But I came here for the beer! And to support my fiancée! Primarily the beer. read more

If you want to feel like you are at a children's playground.....this is the place for you. Probably 7 kids for each adult. We were nearly hit by a soccer ball and softball while trying to enjoy our beer outside. They need to have an adults only section. If I could give it zero stars or even negative I would. Terrible service, the food that they didn't forget was overcooked, they had three choices for nonalcoholic beverages, which were flat root beer, lemonade, and grape soda. Not entirely sure they had a manager that was present. read more

Update from 7/14: Beer and Service still ROCK. The food is complete crap, however. Had the grilled chicken Alfredo. Pasta way undercooked, not a lick of salt on the chicken breast, and the Alfredo sauce "broke." Clearly the cooks don't know how to make a proper cream sauce without over heating it and allowing it to separate. Not a heck of a lot of people going there anymore and the two guys at the bar said the food was "so-so." Again, that's generous in my opinion. Too bad the place has gone so far downhill on food quality. HEB has the beer in stock..no real need to suffer through the bad food at the restaurant. My 2 cents. I'm not one to post a review but being in the service industry for 10+ years you notice things more than someone who's never worked in the industry would. I came in today hoping to enjoy dinner with the family but decided to go elsewhere for the lack of service. I walk in and waited at the host stand (like it says to do on their sign "please wait to be seated" ) as I'm standing there not one not two but three different servers look directly at me multiple times & none of them have acknowledged me. There standing by their kitchen window talking but still no "I'll be right with you" or gesture that I'm there and they see me. I'm now standing there for 8 minutes. 8 minutes doesn't sound like a long time but standing to be waited on and ignored for 8 minutes is way to long. I would understand if they were packed but that was not the case. A couple of older guest walk in behind me now and ask if anyone has came to seat me I tell them no and how long it's been that I was waiting and they go and sit themselves. Which I easily could have done but being in the industry knowing how sections work it's rude. As soon as they sit down the manager goes running over to apologize to them. The guest that just walked in and had been standing there no longer than a minute. He then walks to the host stand grabbing silverware and menus telling me that he'd be right with me??? When i turn around to walk out the door he THEN wants to ask if I would like a table. Absolutely not I told him no I'd been standing there ignored & he was apologizing to someone who had just walked in. He gave me a blank look and said ok and we left. No wonder they have a now hiring sign they definitely need it. Try hiring attentive staff and a present host. read more

Yesterday I visited the newest, kid & dog friendly brewery in Tomball. To enjoy an entrée, you must dine inside for now. There is no take out right now, but they are working out those little details. You can purchase apps & beer on the side where the garage door is located to enjoy outside. Like every business in this country, they are experiencing a wait staff shortage. If you don't possess the virtue trait PATIENCE, then don't visit this establishment. They are open from Wednesday-Sunday 11am-9pm. read more

If i went on ambience alone this would be a five star rating. What a great cutout of Tomball that transports you to a brewery in the Texas Hill country. Great space outside with yard games and room for kids to explore. The beer flights were fun and yummy. Coffee Lager being my favorite. Music choice perfect for chilling outside. Nice -sized picnic tables on the patio with an already emerging local following. Sit on the back porch and order from the patio window a good selection of local beers and a nice choice of starters. If you want to sit inside on the weekend, come early. Our wait was over an hour wait but it could've been due to the beautiful weather. The reason I didn't rate a full five stars was because the provided heat lamps which were definitely needed, were not all working. So we just froze and drank beer. Still a great time. We went inside to have dinner. Three TVs on view only - no sound. Only music. Food selection was small. Only one healthy item and no healthy dressing options. But the Cobb salad with chicken was normal-sized and good tasting. The grilled chicken breast sandwich was tasty. Service was great. The patrons were a mix of young families with kids, couples and a few older groups. We spoke with the manager who was open to feedback and is looking to improve and already awesome start to a new brewery in town. We will be back soon. read more

I recently had a disappointing visit to Paradigm Brewing. A group of 10 of us decided to give it a try and I tried calling ahead since it was a larger than average party, but they do not take reservations. Once there, we were sat at a table for 8 and told by the hostess we could add another table once the last few members showed up. Once the last of our group came, we were told by the server we could not add another table and there was no other sitting areas inside to fit our group. Some of us had already ordered drinks and had to cash out so we could move outside where there was plenty of seating. Once outside we realized there were no servers so had to go inside to the bar to order drinks and food. But be warned, if you sit outside you are not only your own waiter, but they limit the food you can order off the menu (you pretty much get apps or pizza). After realizing this, we left and went to Fire Ant. read more

Different menus for inside, patio and outside area makes no sense. Came to Houston for the week and stumbled upon paradigm. I wound up going here three nights in a row. The staff here is excellent, friendly and knowledgeable; while the food was delicious. Especially the Korean BBQ pork belly. I think I've tried most of their beer with the southern bock and cafe rouge being my favorites, along with the hefeweizen. I was also pleasantly surprised by the passion fruit blonde. Overall, an excellent brewery with amazing service and great food. read more

Excellent beer BUT We waited over an hour for a table and another 45+ minutes for our meals. One dish came out early and was ice cold, then we continued to wait as the other meals came out one at a time; 5 minutes between plates. Yes, it was Father's Day but it was not crazy busy at all. They did remake the first dish and the food was good overall. Was not amused by the explicit teeny-bopper music playing in the background. Second time here, could be the last time. This is probably the worst brewery in the Houston area. Quite simply, they cannot brew. The kitchen is decent, but it doesn't make up for the beer. The property is awesome, dunno how they got the investors. We keep coming out every 4 months hoping they got their stuff together. Final straw was the $12, six ounce pours. That's outrageous and borderline criminal for a brewery, regardless of ABV. read more

I so want to love this place. I've tried it a few times since it is so close by and has so much potential. It's a great space inside and out. The garbage cans in the bathrooms were all overflowing and resulted in trash just scattered on the floors. This is a management issue. Service is not great. Bartenders were not very attentive. Our table server was pleasant but it just seemed she was inexperienced and not really very intuitive about how to scan her station.. The pretzel and the brussel sprouts are good but the rest of the food was meh. It tasted fine but my standard medium burger was on the verge of well done. Also a bit dry. The pork belly BLT was a joke. Again, it tasted good but there was almost no pork belly on it. We had two of them ordered at the table, so it wasn't a one off . You have to fill up the bread you put the sandwich on. Especially for 15.00. Overpriced and overrated. We likely won't be back. read more

Food was okay my fries were undercooked. The beer was good so I'll give it that. However, the service was not good. I am big on customer service and this brewery was lacking. The workers are inattentive. They spend more time talking to each other then doing their job. Wouldn't recommend and won't be back. This was our first visit to Paradigm, as we heard wonderful things from friends and family. The atmosphere was great, but unfortunately the food made us sick. When I called to inform them they were very nonchalant about it, and basically were wondering why I even called. It was such an awkward conversation. I was willing to visit again, but considering the manager did not take my call serious I doubt anything will be done to help ensure others don't get sick. read more

Beer is excellent. Food has a looooong way to go to even be good. Pizzas are similar to DiGiorno and the burgers are blah. Nowadays, what sets apart a brewery from another, is the food. Many breweries taste similar these days. Paradigm has to step up their food to remain competitive. read more
