    Pappy's pet lodge was very friendly, took my puppy in immediately when I called because Bentley had stayed at Poochville and I got him back full knits and poop in his fur. The groomer at Pappy's took her time to give him a bath and brush it all out. I'm so thankful for their fast help and Bentley looks so much better and he smells great!

    Horrendous service at South Plano, they are lucky they have contracted a good trainer. Were not honest with when the dog was going to be out, and the cameras are public to watch. Often times the dogs are left with no supervision, and they don't care how clean the place is. Dogs were put away much earlier than 7pm and not out again until after 8am and that is during the weekday. After the holiday, the dogs had been in their lodges for more than 16 hours and staff was in no rush to let all the dogs out. They let the dogs pee and poop inside the play areas and outside on concrete rather than just letting them out to the open space. No wonder our newly potty trained puppy has been having accidents since we picked her up. Our puppy also came home with tapeworm and they withheld from us until we asked. Manager, John, promised us a service while she was boarded for 14 days and when we came to pick her up, they held her away from us while she cried because they claimed we still owed money to them. Attached photos are just a few examples of the care the dogs are in, and the pee inside their spaces was due to the dogs being crates for more than 16 hours and no staff rushed to get it for 2 hours after coming in the morning. (Those are not my dogs, just public accessible camera options) EDIT: it is unfortunate that an "award winning" business cannot own up to the mistakes they have made with a first time customer. For further explanation, when we purchased the 10 day training package with Mazie's 14 day boarding, we were told by Jon that her time during boarding would include full day daycare, and we would pay upfront for the duration of her stay. After one week, we had hoped to get an update on Mazie, but decided to call to receive an update as no one had reached out. This is when we were informed by John of Mazies tapeworm. Asking when they noticed, he said right away, but did not call us because it is not harmful to the "kiddo" so it doesn't matter if we knew right away anyway. As for the schedule, The only reason I have guessed to this timeline of dogs being out is the schedule posted online and under the cameras, and we were never offered or even knew about the walks until we questioned why the dogs weren't out yet after Christmas. Nonetheless, the dogs were boarded over 13 hours, which would certainly lead to multiple accidents. The lack of ownership to their care of the dogs is disappointing, and the dirtiness of reusing towels dripping in pee to rub on the floors because they're worried about the rain is gross. When we toured, Jon would not allow us to see where any dogs were staying, and showed us the spaces during nap time, which makes it hard to determine how our dogs would actually be cared for. Then, in excitement to pick up our puppy, we were faced with additional charged that were never explained to us, and they even admitted there was some miscommunication. We had just talked an hour earlier to plan pickup, the least they could have done was given a heads up that they would still charge us even though they communicated their service incorrectly.

    Grooming - 1 Star Customer Service - 2 Star I've been to this location 3 times. Last visit ended our relationship. I asked for a style of haircut, the groomer went against what I asked for and used her 35 years of experience to make her own decision on what she thought would look best with no communication to me while my dog was there for 11 hours. When I picked him up I was quite surprised they did exactly what I told them not to. Guess they are too busy to call. Hannah issued a full refund with no further services.

    DO NOT BOARD YOUR PET HERE! I boarded my four year old miniature schnauzer over Memorial Day weekend and when I went to bathe her after picking her up I found an open wound on her side. The vet could not confirm if it was a bite or a puncture wound, but it is horrendous! When I called to ask what happened to my dog, since this was not revealed to me when picking her up, the representative asked me to send pictures via email. I have sent pictures and have yet to hear a response. This IS NOT a safe place for your pet. Either this facility harmed my dog, or they were not attentive enough to even notice she was bleeding after being harmed by another dog.

Every time Kathlyn came, she sends a journal of what your pet was doing/what she did along with multiple photos. She also noticed I didn't have enough food to refill after the 5th day. When I told her where it was, she came back the next day to check on him (after checking with me) FREE OF CHARGE!! Can't hype Sugar's up enough. I'll be a return customer.
