I figured it didn't hurt to drop in just to see their selection. You first walk into the framing side of the store that also houses a lot of neat signs and house knickknacks, candles, etc. The adjoining store attached to it is for booklovers such as myself. Used paperbacks are my specialty and I love them more than new hardbacks. Every book in the store was less than $3.77 with most on the clearance rack going for .50. They even had bundled books for certain authors (Dean Koontz, James Patterson, and Janet Evanovich, etc.) that would still go for $3.77 for three of them. I ended up finding a great find on the perfect coffee table book, a sign for my woman cave room, and 4 softbacks that came out to 14 bucks! Four stars for them not having the greatest selection on travel and books related to food/cooking. Those were a bit outdated.

Well this time I was here to actually buy a BOOK! Thuy and I walked the Square a few nights ago, looking in windows. When we passed Arts & Letters Bookstore, we spotted a book we wanted to buy for our newest nephew. The book? "The Little Puppy (part of My Little Animal Friend)" by Nicola Killen. The clerk who helped us, Brandy, was very friendly and helpful. I asked about local authors, and learned there is a section just for them. In the same area, is books specific to Granbury. Very cool little find. I also bought some Granbury themed stickers for random gifts for random friends. I also joined the free shoppers club (if it has a real name, it slipped my mind), where after spending $100, you get $10 of your next purchase. But I also suggest you pop your head into his actual brick and mortar store on the Square in Downtown Cleburne TX. By the way the only Brick and Mortar Bookstore in Cleburne and Johnson County. The Published Page Bookshop has a wide variety of books, magazines, vinyl records, comics, adult coloring books and some other book type accessories for sale in the shop. Recycle Books Records is a true Texas gem!…read more This amazing used bookstore and record store is located in the heart of Denton, TX inside a 100+-year-old opera house. They have been independently and family-owned for over 40 years, and they are a must-stop for all book and music lovers out there. This store is HUGE with over half-a-million books, movies, music and memorabilia. However, I think what makes them extra special is the curated selection of Horror and Thriller books, including some very unique collectibles. I am more into contemporary, so keep in mind those books are located on the top floor of their second building. Their children's book section was also incredible but frankly I didn't have the patience to go through them. This store can be a little overwhelming so definitely take a breath and ask for help if you can't find the genre you are looking for.
