Inside, this place is so cohesive and "put together". That the whole time I was there I never picked up on the fact that it is actually comprised of over 100 different vendors. The place just flowed so smoothly and so beautifully. It's huge, so it flowed for over 12,000 square feet. I saw everything from home decor, bath & body products, jewelry, clothing, a place to customize olive oils, candies, nuts, and more! We were told that they didn't have volunteers to run it. Hmmmm... the Mercantile had a wide selection of merchandise from decor to jewelry and even some antique furniture way in the back. We enjoyed shopping and even brought home a mid-century magazine stand that had been using as a display at the front of the store. Becky, the owner, is so sweet and chatted with Hubby and I about the building restoration. While the shopping is downstairs, do not miss the opportunity to go upstairs to the events space.
