We used Paper Rock Scissor for all our wedding stationary needs (Save the Dates, Invites, and day of stationary), and we can't recommend them enough! Liz and Maggie were ultra-responsive, very easy to work with, and we were incredibly happy with the final results! They were quick to respond to feedback, and the final designs they created were stunning. They even helped connect us with a local artist to create a custom monogram for our wedding, and then used elements of that monogram throughout our stationary to really make the final items stand out and feel unique. I'd highly recommend Paper Rock Scissor if you're considering a high-end stationary vendor for your wedding, or any other important purpose. I can't say enough good things about Paper Rock Scissor. We used them for our wedding save the dates, invites, and day-of paper, and at every turn they blew us away. I oddly cared a lot about the stationary for our wedding (yet had no idea what I wanted, really), so asking a complete stranger to create something awesome for us was a bit of a leap of faith. However, I had a great feeling about the entire staff, and couldn't have made a better choice. They were so responsive and helpful and created a stunning final product that got us tons of props from our guests. We got married in Mexico, and the theme completely captured our theme, even though I only had a few incoherent thoughts to provide them about the "theme" of the wedding (Frida Kahlo, surfing, Mexico). My now husband also provided some incoherent thoughts (thick paper, no bows), and they managed to please both of us. Working with PRS was the highlight of our wedding planning experience, and I'd recommend them to anyone. read more

I am super pleased with how everything turned out for the stationery for my wedding. From the invites to the programs, guests could not stop commenting how awesome they were and how they were very "us". After a quick meeting (we were running late) they were able to give us the look and feel that we wanted. Another stationary place did not come close even with double the amount of time. They are really easy to work with and care about the product and the customers. It made one less thing a hassle in the wedding planning process. They are great at crafting stationary that is as unique as the couple getting married. I would recommend them to any of my friends getting married in the cities. read more

Paper Rock Scissor were fantastic to work with. We used them for wedding invitations. They provided helpful guidance along the way and even found an artist for us to draw a custom sketch of our beautiful venue, Mill City Museum, to use for our invitations. They are always quick and helpful in their responses, always willing to hop on a phone call to chat details, and were flexible with us since we planned our wedding remotely. The quality of their work is excellent as well. The paper feels good in your hands and the layout was creative and inviting. Their attention to detail is worth drawing attention to. I can't say enough positive things about Paper Rock Scissor...but I will try. First off, working with Kate was awesome. Before we even started the custom invite creation process, we met with Kate at their shop (which, BTW, is the cutest place ever -- I wish I could move in) to discuss our initial thoughts, colors, etc. She put us both at ease -- as it is a pretty overwhelming process -- and had a lot of great creative ideas for our invites. She took the time to get to know us and it really showed when she shared their concepts. I also appreciated that she gave us a few options if we were willing to spend more, but also ways that we could mitigate some additional costs and still achieve the invites we wanted. As we went through the process (proofs, updates, changes and more), Kate was really responsive via email and was always willing to go above and beyond, i.e., when my mom realized we had spelled someone's name wrong, Kate immediately whipped up another printed envelope and sent it to me in the mail, saving me a trip to the shop. Overall we were absolutely thrilled with our custom invites and the process. The best part is that so many people told me that they loved our invites (how creative! how different! how modern!) and that they looked like "us." Sure, they might have been lying since it was our wedding and all...but I don't think so. read more

We worked with Kate on custom save the dates for our wedding. The Good: Kate was pleasant to work with and responsive. The price was reasonable. The save the dates ultimately looked unique and cool. The Bad: in the proofs we found typos and things which did not make sense and/or looked bad. We ended up going through several revisions and felt almost like we were doing the designing ourselves. The Ugly: although our save the dates were in the form of postcards, we could not mail them as postcards because the cardstock was too cheap/flimsy. So we ended up having to mail them in envelopes, which was more expensive and defeated the purpose of using postcards in the first place. Also, after we mailed them, we discovered ANOTHER typo. When paying someone to design your invitations, at the very least you should not have to worry about a bunch of typos. It is unprofessional for a designer not to proofread their work product. I would not recommend Paper Rock Scissor. read more

They have a nice collection of paper goods samples from tons of weddings, and did a good job listening to our needs for our wedding save the dates and invites. We had some components designed ourselves, and they did a great job completing the overall theme and design, and incorporated all of our visions to make beautiful paper goods! Kate, Cait and Maggie were so amazing to work with! They had beautiful designs, and helped me bring my vision to life! I went in to our original meeting with a different idea than what we ended up with, but thank to the ladies' beautiful taste and design expertise, it was better than I could have ever imagined! They put up with me going in a completely different direction and helped me make sure I made choices that tied together and were in my budget. I ended up with a super unique, gorgeous marble gold foiling that the team was able to incorporate into our table numbers and place cards, which helped save money! PRS has the cutest shop, and every time you go in to visit it feels like you are catching up with old friends.
