Been a while since I had eaten a Papa Murphys but always liked it in the past. We picked up a Cowboy pizza for the Super Bowl to avoid the rush. It was awful. Very little sauce and very little cheese. But plenty of salt (guessing from the sausage and pepperoni). Most of the frozen pizzas at the grocery store would be a much better choice. No wonder the one closer to our house is out of business. read more

I'm not really sure why I waited so long to try Papa Murphy's but you can bet your sweet ass that I just became a huge fan. First of all, who doesn't love the idea of baking your own pizza without having to put it all together? Because, really, that's a major pain in the keester. Not to mention a huge drain on the wallet. We've tried it and failed. Miserably. Secondly, who doesn't love paying $7 for a bad ass pizza that was made especially for you and that you cooked in 10 minutes? For real! Hear me and hear me well. I paid $7 for a triple meat (pepperoni, sausage, hamburger) large extra thin crust (they call it something that I'll have to look up to remember) pizza that was being devoured by my boys a mere 10 minutes after I brought it home (the secret to that is to have someone at home preheat the oven). Not only were my boys impressed, which isn't hard to do, I was seriously impressed. The crust was crispy but still doughy and the toppings were as fresh as fresh comes. Considering this pizza normally sells for $9.99, I don't see how the delivery chains can compete! They also have salads and desserts, as well as lasagna and calzones. I'm thinking the 3 lb. whopper of a lasagna pan looks like the perfect item to try next with a 1 lb. tub of cookie dough (uncooked, of course) for dessert. Check their website for coupons and ask for any other specials when you call. This makes what is already an affordable dinner dirt cheap. If you're stuck in the same old chain delivery rut, give Papa Murphy's a try. You're welcome. read more

The pizza dough that they make is always fresh, so when you pop it into the oven, it comes out great.... For something different then the already cooked pizza and for a cheaper price, you cant go wrong with this place. Staff is friendly and the area that they make the pizza is clean which is a definite plus when it comes to food prep. read more

This is a major upgrade in locations from the one we used to go to in Carrollton before moving. This place is very nice and clean on the inside, has a mobile online order pick up area, and the employees are SUPER kind and know what they're doing! Highly recommend this location. read more

This place is so good, it's insane. The food quality is wonderful, as is typical of a Papa Murphy's store, but this store and its employees are really top-notch. The crust was pretty plain white bread, nothing interesting there. Digornos can beat that. The price is high for pizza. Well someone told me it was National Pizza Day and Papa Murphy's was taking part in the celebration, so it was the perfect opportunity to try for the 1st time. I ordered my pizza online which allowed me to get a special discount, have my pizza ready by the time I got there after work, and still pay in the store which was great! I'd heard Papa Murphy's was good but I was a bit skeptical. I'm happy to report the directions were perfect and the pizza is delicious. I appreciate the preferred 15-minute parking spaces right in front of the door. If there's one critique, the pizza is packaged on pretty flimsy peace of board wrapped in plastic which I was prepared for. I was a little nervous carrying it and concerned it would come loose during my drive but all worked out well. read more

Been going here since opened on weekly basis and always get 2 of the $5 favs plus deserts. Had to always get extra sauce since didn't have much on the and since kids didn't like the pizza otherwise. Never been a problem. However the new district manager (Brianna) has banned extra sauce on $5 favs. How petty! Can't save them more than a nickel per request. Won't EVER go here again. This place has been so awesome for so many years and has just continued to go down hill. The last 5 times we have called to order a pizza NOBODY even picks up the phone, it rolls straight to voicemail. And when you get to the location they are not at all busy but there is only one employee working. So disappointed, can't imagine how this location will stay in business. read more

We love Papa Murphy's pizza. Always fresh ingredients. We each have our favorites - Herb Chicken and the Cowboy. The thin crusts are excellent. 10-13 minutes in the oven at 425 degrees and your all set. John and his staff are always very friendly a quick to make orders as you wait - I never wait more than 3-5 minutes even with 5-8 people in line to order. read more

Sometimes we walk in to order, we go next door to do some grocery shopping, and it is always ready when we come back. Two stars is for the manager being polite. I went online and ordered since I read that I could "save time by ordering online". It started that it would be ready at 5:15 and so I waited down the street making myself busy instead of waiting in the store. Then I checked my confirmation and it said 5:30. Ok, I guess. Waited until 5:25 and arrived at 5:34. They then informed me they had no order for me. They suggested I ordered from another location. So I walked back to my truck and got my iPad and showed them the order and the confirmation. The manager said they never received it but they would make it now. I went next door to the Tom Thumb to get milk. When I got back they had completed the pizza and it was ready. She said sorry about that. I asked if they would be returning the $ for the cheese bread I had also ordered and paid for. She asked if I wanted it and I said I didn't want to wait as I had ordered over an hour and 15 minutes earlier so I wouldn't have to wait at all. She ran in and got some of the bread and said thank you. Now why order online and pay and then wait over an hour to go get it and have it not even made? We order from the Plano location frequently and have never had a problem. Not a happy customer. Sorry?? That's it? If you order online and need to be somewhere I suggest you call. The pizza is great. The website you use to try to order online sucks. It never lets you in. The worse app I have seen.
