I dined inside this visit and it was clean and organized. It's small but gives you that Pizzaria vibe. It was about a 20 minute wait for the pizza, it was cooked well and had a good crunch. I do like the shredded pepperoni vs round. I wish more places did this, only here and Arnies in New Albany does this shredded pepperoni. It does in a way taste like school cafeteria pizza but, I'm not complaining. I do like the pizza here and plan to return someday when in the area.

The sub was good, I liked the bread used and the meatballs were a good size and very flavorful. The only thing I had an issue with is that this place really likes to use onion. And not just onion, big pieces of raw onion. It was a lot and really dominated the flavor of the food. It was so heavy handed that were I to come back I would ask to leave it off entirely because I dont even trust that they would listen to a request of "light onion". Overall, OK place, especially if you are an onion lover!

A wonderful kitchen wizard ventured out into the dining room to talk to us personally, and confirmed that all the traditional pizza doughs, pastas, and red sauces are vegan. He offered to create a custom pasta dish with a variety of vegetables (spaghetti pomarola with garlic, spinach, and mushrooms), and ensured that the breadsticks that accompany the pasta dish (traditionally made with garlic butter and cheese) were vegan, prepared in a separate location in the kitchen to ensure no dairy contamination. For those with other food allergies and intolerances they ensured every detail was correct, even noticing that a pizza that was inadvertently prepared with an offending food item, and remaking it before it was even finished baking. Pricing is incredibly reasonable for the quantity and the truly excellent service, which is what truly made the experience special. My pasta dish was tasty. Is it the best pasta I've ever had? No - but it wasn't trying to be. What Impellizzeri's does well is serve good food at reasonable prices, in a location and with people who have an eye for detail and a passion for excellent customer service. Well done.

I was hopeful- Impelliizeris had a thin crust option! Unfortunately, it was as disappointing as I remember. The crust is too doughy, the sauce is bland and the cheese was thick and tasteless. We didn't even eat our leftovers. I don't understand why so many like this, perhaps I should order something else if I return. Just a no from us!
