No where online nor over the phone is it obvious that this restaurant makes you bake your own pizza. We are from out of town passing through and called ahead to order our pizza for pickup thinking it would be cooked. Then to our surprise we get there and have to pay for our pre-ordered uncooked pizza. At the least they should reflect that their pizza is uncooked online and make it more clear. Also- 9$ for a medium, uncooked, plain cheese pizza? Ripoff. Next time I'll be getting dominos. At first glance it's not obvious the pizza has to be baked. When I looked back at the website after, it shows it, but in small print. I think it's reasonable to expect that a restaurant cook your food for you, so I think to an unsuspecting passerby this place really sucks and should do better with disclosing their business model. read more

Visited this establishment on Tuesday 6.22.21 for takeout tuesday $10 special. I am not sure the ingredients were fresh as the whole family got sick both with throwing up and the other. I love the pizza at this establishment. My problem is the young lady with the washed out green hair on the top of her head, I'd use her name but she wasn't wearing a name tag. Anyways I walked in 20 mins before closing and she literally rolled her eyes! When she finished helping the girl make my pizza, she literally wrapped it and slid it across the counter with an unpleasant, "Hear you go." Im sorry that partaking in preparing a 1 minute pizza is such an inconvenience to your closing task. Usually the young employees there are kind and friendly which is why her behavior shook me. The business model is interesting: They make your pizza; you take it home and bake it yourself. That means they can't cater to tourists or people staying at a local hotel -- people with their own ovens only. The pizza is really good, with all the traditional choices and healthy options, too. The sides (cheese bread, salads, and cookie dough) are good. The prices are good for the quantity and quality of the food. One item of interest is that the entire staff at this store seems to be hired from the Hurricane High School cheerleading squad. read more

While the pizza is good, you still have to bake it. And because you have to bake it, the pizza really should cost less than the other pizza places that cook pizza for you. And with this particular location, they should invest in a couple ovens for the lobby for tourists that have no way of baking them. I have seen other locations that have an oven or two in the lobby. read more

I've been a Papa Murphy's customer for decades. I worked with the franchise for several years myself. I know my way around the place and the menu. Recently, we developed an allergy and can no longer have several of the items that are on the menu here. So, we just order the crust because it saves us a lot of time to not make our own. We've been doing this again, for years. We were visiting the area and hoped to be able to order just a plain crust, as we always do. I got to the front of the line and asked for the crust. The manager told me that "The company doesn't allow it." I've heard similar things before but when I tried to explain, he treated me like a was the worst person for even expecting him to talk to me. Huffing and puffing and talking over me. I finally just left. I get that it's not a usual order and again, I've heard it before that they don't know how to complete the order and sometimes I don't get the crust. All of that is fine because I expect it. The reason I'm leaving the one star review is because of the way that they treated me. Like I was a cockroach. If you check out their reviews on other sites, most people are only reviewing the food, because it's good food, but there are a lot of people complaining about the lack of customer service at this location! Definitely avoid this place if possible. read more

The pizza is always good and the customer service has always been ok up to this point. Today's experience however, left much to be desired. The manager was SO worried about his customer service survey that he actually harassed my wife to the point that she said she is uncomfortable ever returning and that is saying a lot. If he would stop managing to his surveys and focus on customer service then he might actually get what he wants. read more
