We ordered 2 thin crust pizzas last weekend . One was a cowboy and the other was pepperoni and pineapple with olive oil and zesty herbs . The crust on both never got crispy except on the edges and it was a weird consistency. The pepperoni is so thinly sliced and there were hardly any pineapples . I could not even taste the pineapples . I also question the olive oil and zesty herbs and whether either was even on the pizza . We both threw out the pizzas . We have ordered Papa Murphys over the years and was always consistent and good . It's either this location or the chain has gone downhill . read more

If you're a spaghetti and meatball fan like I am , here's an idea for you. Give Papa Murphy a call and order their new Meatballs and Marinara for dinner. While they're cooking , whip up a pot of your favorite pasta and when the pasta is done the meatballs will be done also Wala! A wonderful pasta and meatballs dinner second to none. I love Papa Murphy's! My favorite is the Gourmet Vegetarian white Pizza. We always get the Family size so we have plenty of leftovers. We aren't Vegetarian but it's delicious. We also get the Pizza loaded with meat and we're never disappointed. We usually get a nice coupon towards out next order. Why would one ignore the fact this is less than a block away & within walking distance?! I feel stupid for not having noticed the convenience before. But, the experience during COVID also kinda answered some of that. They were on time. They were well-made & everything was present. The ease & speed was fantastic! ...but, the tweens handling the location & their visiting girlfriends didn't do anyone a favor as much as it has caused me to reflect on being grateful I am older & wiser. I really didn't appreciate the 2 minor "girlfriends" shoving in front of me attempting to retrieve my pizza from the cooler in order to access their boyfriends behind the counter... I applaud the employee who came and pushed them back. But, you SHOULD have kicked them out of the store! They were not at all a part of the 5 patron limit for PAYING CUSTOMERS posted on the door. And, I don't appreciate your love life coming between my hanger state of mind in simply trying to pick up my order. I do appreciate the order was accurate. And done on time. And the food was fantastic! But for reals- let's get some professional training up in here & annex the tween atmosphere of girlfriends camping, especially during a pandemic. This is probably one of the nastiest public pizzas since Little Caesar's. Costing as much as a fully-done pizza from a pizza restaurant that takes pride in what they serve, the crummy, thin crap from Papa Murphy should be reserved for their weekly Dumpster Frisbee Contest. I should make it clear I'm talking about their Cowboy Pizza, the one they rant and rave about is so great for really hungry truck drivers, big men with big appetite and .... well big, hungry cowboys, too. What you get is a flimsy, mickey-mouse, skinny old pie that wouldn't feed a family of starving rats. Whether you ask for thin crust or standard, you get a thin crust that smells like it was just pulled from two weeks hiding under your clothes dryer... dust bunnies, clothes pins, rubber bands and all. The cause of this pandemic is too few droppings they sprinkle on before handing it to you. I've given Papa the benefit of the doubt twice now, and both times he let me down with mediocre barf that wouldn't meet the definition of the word 'crap'. Don't order from this place unless you want to cook your own food. Ordered from Postmates and got two uncooked pizzas. Had no idea I had to cook it myself. What kind of business model is this? I know it said, "baking required", but I just thought it meant it would take longer because they have to bake the pizzas, NOT ME!!!! Never ordering from here again. There is nothing better than pulling a piping hot pizza out of your own oven and having fresher than any other way other than sitting at the pizza parlor. We are a big fan of the Chicken Garlic. I also love the stuffed meat pizza. They also have bread sticks that you cook at home. Pre-made salads and cooking dough ready. They key to success for Take-N-Bake, save the number in your phone. Call ahead and place your order. That way it is ready when you show up. In and out the door in 5 minutes. There is another similar take-n-bake around my home, but the value of this place makes it well worth the 5 miles out of the way into AJ worth it.. Find a place near your home and give it a try. I like Papa Murphy's product so I've no complaint there. My complaint come from their coupons. I ordered 2 thin delite pizzas and had two coupons for 6.99 ea.for ANY thin delite pizza. When I went to pay for the pizza, I was told a person could only use one coupon. There's nothing on their ads or coupon that says this, so I was not happy. Also, I was charged a dollar more for my 3 topping pizza. Only 2 toppings are allowed for 6.99. This also was not on the coupon. The coupon was for ANY thin delite pizza. If it hds stated any' two topping pizza' I would have known. So I am upset at them not honoring their own coupons. If they have restrictions, they should state them in advance. read more

The pizza wasn't extraordinary either, but the staff was friendly, with the exception of a couple of chatting girls behind the counter who stood there like there was absolutely nothing that they could be doing. I love this take-n-bake pizza. It's best if you can call ahead as there is often several folks waiting on weekend nights. We like the cowboy pizza and the Mediterranean herb chicken. The veggie is really great too. You can always find a coupon online or sign up for their email and you'll get 50% off coupons on occasion. The staff is usually friendly, more often than not. It's been awhile since I've had a pizza from Papa Murphy's. I remember the pizza always having lots of toppings. We saw the Taco Pizza advertised on TV. Looked great. So we ordered one. We were disappointed that it didn't have lots of toppings on it like it showed on TV. Very skimpy and the pieces of hamburger was so small that you barely knew there was any on it. This was only one step up from frozen of any kind. Followed directions for crispy crust on one. Never ate the other. Could have broken a tooth. Added my own spices. Thankfully. It was pretty tasteless. Should have known when they used sausage that looks like little turds. What is this world coming to when people think this is great pizza with fresh ingredients.
