I called and the girl wanted to refund the $2 for the missing sauce. When I told her that was unacceptable, like getting a pizza with no sauce, she HUNG UP ON ME. They should close this location and redraw the delivery lines. It could have been a mental thing, but the quality of what we got was substandard also. It was definitely cut poorly.

I prefer NY Style pizza... thin crispy crust, stringy cheese, flavourful red sauce. I searched for a nearby pizzeria that delivers and discovered Sal's Famous New York Pizza. I placed my order using the Slice app for an 18" Deluxe Pizza with special instructions to cook it well-done to ensure a crispy crust. 45 minutes later my pizza arrived. I thought the amount of time was very reasonable. And the delivery person was pleasant. The crust was as I hoped it would be. Everything else was just OK but not great. I don't think there was enough sauce on the pizza and the sauce that was on the pizza was not particularly flavorful. This supposedly had extra cheese on it but I did not feel it even had an average amount of cheese, and it certainly wasn't stringy when I took a bite and pulled the pizza away from my mouth. there wasn't much sausage and the amount of pepperoni and mushrooms was sparse. The onions and green peppers were about right. The total amount including a $3.00 delivery fee , 15%, automatic tip, a "support local" fee of $.95, plus tax, totalled $33.26 which reflected a $1.22 discount for using the Slice app. I've had much better NY Style pizza and would most likely try another pizza shop next time. This was OK but not a show stopper.

While we are waiting for our pizza she brings us garlic knots to eat while we are waiting for the pizza. That in itself was great. She then gave us all fountain drinks. I reminded her we got a 2 liter. She knew and said it was on the house. She then brings us our pizza which was the size of the table. This thing was massive. We all had one slice a piece and were full. She then gave us red fills on our drinks while we sat there with a unopened 2 liter of Dr. Pepper. Another family took it over kept the name to use the same recipes and today I saw another family Filipino I believe took it over kept the name and changed the entire place took off the 24" pizza and raised the prices to more than doubled what they were. I expected a quick and simple experience, but instead it turned into a frustrating one. The staff could have communicated better and shown more concern for customers. On top of that, the quality of the food did not make up for the bad service. I definitely expected better and will think twice before returning to this location.
