(New owners bought DJ's Pizza Alley not long ago) Despite being busy, we were greeted quickly and our order was taken and the estimated wait (50 minutes) was right on - our order was ready when we returned. We placed our order and chose to go for a walk, returning just a few minutes before our promise time and they were just pulling together the last part of our order. Delightful! The location's new owners updated the store to also offer a selection of deli food items, included various meats, cheeses, salads, and sides - as well as limited grocery items (bread, milk, eggs) - making this a great add for Tipp City. The food was good. The staff was working hard, and friendly. The chicken wings were my favorite - really crispy - perfectly cooked and the sauce was excellent. Today I could clearly hear the works cussing and talking crap about someone at the intercom deciding what to order. Once one of them came up and talked to me they were nice but it was already after everything I listened to. Today our mac and cheese had multiple green beans in it and had to remove 2 very burnt chunks. KFC also still has the potato poppers available on the app with no way to refund. Instead we were given mashed potatoes that no one at home will eat. I also paid for sauce that was not in the bag and I sadly did not notice till I was home. Again It is not just todays workers that had been disappointing this unfortunately happens very often and I do not have this experience at any other fast food places in Troy. Though the other places make mistakes at least they can do things to fix the issues and the people acknowledge your existence in a timely manner.
