I knew it was new to the area but had no idea how long it had been around despite being born in Mississippi. Any restaurant that has been in business for over 4 decades, has to be doing something right. The Chicken Biscuit with Gravy was excellent! The Hashbrown was perfectly cooked, nice & crispy outside and soft & flaky inside. As good as the Chicken was, the star was the Blueberry Donuts. I've never seen somewhere that offered a donut as the side for your combo. My wife who is a big fan of blueberry cake style donuts, said these ones at Connie's were the best she ever had and had to go get another one to "share" after only giving me a small bite of the first one. She said to give it 3 thumbs up. In addition to the great food, the staff were very pleasant and helpful, which is not always the case with many fast food or fast casual restaurants lately. Connie's will absolutely be on our list for future trips!

This is where the students under the influence come to spout their ideas of future businesses, life plans, teachers, and beer prices. The cookout tray serves these philosophers greatly. It's cheap, and enough food to satisfy any munchies. A main, a side, and a drink. Good sizes for the price. This place is truly great for any budget The burgers taste like their fresh off of your creepy uncles charcoal grill at the family reunion. They are topped with the usual fixing, unless you opt for the steak style. The steak style is great with the a1 steak sauce. Their fries, which are best in their Cajun style, are always a good consistency. Their corn dogs taste like a frozen corndog, which is what you'd expect for the price. Their chicken wraps are like what you'd make if all you had were leftover tortillas and chicken strips. They are good and spicy. Their nuggets are chicken, like is expected. Their milkshakes are good and thick, hard to get up a straw. Their flavors of shakes are always great. I go here sometimes just for a shake. Overall, cookout is great. After a long night of partying and shots, the burger warms your soul. I love this place and all it represents.

One night I tried to change my drink order and the person on the drive through said "make up your damn mind".
