You order, pay and tip all before being seated. I get this for take out but for dine in it's odd. Then you get your own drinks and refills. There were multiple people around the hostess desk just chatting but you do everything yourself. I would Have tipped more if they actually "waited" on the customers. The restaurant was very nice and the food was great, just wish they offered true wait staff for dine in.

Speaking of that, good standbys as well as some choices like Shiner you usually don't see. First off, let me make sure I'm writing this review for the Pizza Hut further down HWY 12 and not…read morethe one up the road that has the appearance of a Pizza Hut. It is? Good. This specific Pizza Hut is a pick-up and delivery focused business and because of this I feel they have a chance to excel in what they do because they don't have to be focused on other things like prepping a buffet or cleaning up tables. The people you talk to up front are limited to just one or maybe two as the rest of the employees work in the kitchen behind the scenes which works well. As is, if I wanted to go and eat out at a pizza place there are businesses like Lost Pizza Co. but for delivery and carry-out it's a 50/50 coin flip between this Pizza Hut and Hungry Howies on the other end of HWY 12 in Starkville. The crust is delicious. I'm a big crust fan and prefer a moderately thick crust that I can chew instead of a brittle thin crust. This is a chain business, so all of their ingredients are pretty much the same as every other Pizza Hut, but every time I've ordered from here the quality has been consistently good and above average compared to... other Pizza Huts (You know who you are). For delivery or carry-out, use their website and get your order entered correctly. It's hard to go wrong with Pizza Hut unless you're a food snob (and nobody likes a food snob), so if you're in for having pizza delivered, give these guys or Hungry Howies equal attention and you can't go wrong.

A couple of other large parties had the same idea and I was glad we made advance reservations. Staff was attentive throughout. The bread service was a very good Italian type bread loaf slices with olive oil. I would have liked some Italian seasoning to add to it to make it even better. For appetizers my daughter insisted on the Fried Mozzarella Ravioli and I wanted to try the Arancini. Both were excellent! My wife and I decided to split the Seafood Linguini and each got a salad. I chose the Caesar side salad and she wanted the Italian side salad. I was wanting to try their gnocchi but that was the 1 item on the menu the server said that they did not have. (Unfortunately I didn't't find out until after I tried to order and had my mind set on it) There was a good amount of seafood but 1 more shrimp would have made it much easier to split evenly. Even sharing we were full especially knowing we had cake waiting for us back at the condo. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their choices as well. I can see why Taste is the go to choice for my daughter and her husband when they want to celebrate.
