As a previous employee here...please do not eat here. There are workers who drink on the job, who…read moreare genuinely rude to customers in presenting window and drive thru. They make food with NO gloves on 75% of the time, and dont wash their hands. How I knew? They were out of soap dispenser stuff for a week. Waiting until trucks came by. They dont follow protocol with employees so honestly managers and employees just eat what they want. Its dirty, in the back theres sauce containers that deadass just are splattered on the walls and let flies gather around it until its time to clean for the inspector comes around. One employee rolls blunts on the food line, imagine if that gets in your kids burger or sandwich. Im being so serious, please, for your HEALTH. do not eat here.

The tables in the sun room do not have a power outlet and that's what I mostly wanted today - to order a Biggie Bag, sit with my laptop for an hour or two, and enjoy my lunch. So I did enjoy lunch and hang out for a bit but not as long as I would have liked. Burger assembled properly. Fries were not hot. Nuggets were not hot. The Coke Freestyle machine worked fine and I probably drank a gallon of the sugar free lemonade. [Review 912 of 2026 - 224 in West Virginia - 26093 overall]

I've been to the Saint Albans Sonic 3 times in the last 5 years…read more Five years ago, I arrived at the drive through at 9:45 PM and got no welcome or any sign of life. Tooted the horn and was greeted with: "Yeah! What do you want?" I'd like to order, I replied. "We're closed" What time did you close? "Ten o-clock." It's a quarter till ten, right now. "OK. What do want?' He didn't try to hide his frustration. I told him not to bother and it was 2 years or more until my next encounter. Long story short, this time, (daytime) a smart-ass girl/woman obviously had something more important to do other than take food orders from pesky customers. I got to the pick-up window and asked to speak with the manager. She/he didn't have time, or so I was told. The third and last visit ended with a request for a refund when the woman at the window shoved the bag of food at me with an abundance of attitude. Outrageous prices, crappy food and even crappier service, I honestly don't understand how they stay open at this Sonic. They are a disgrace to their company's name -- and anyone that has worked there knows that my commentary comes with absolutely no exaggeration.

I forget that town's name, but either way, sandwiches are hard to come by here. That's when Penn Station came to save the day, or at least attempted to. The location is strange as it's perched in a plaza directly behind the police station, which means that you have to obey every traffic rule in the book to avoid blowing your next 17 month's worth of sandwich dollars on a citation. The group I was with was unsure if this location was open, but after someone asked, the friendly employee sporting a contagious smile and crisp uniform welcomed us like family. Now onto the sandwich, which was underwhelming, but not too shabby. I ordered the 9-inch teriyaki chicken sandwich, which did its job. The ice machine was moldy, so I reckon it's only a matter of time before that machine gets arrested for administering questionable substances that'd lead to diarrhea and nutritional misfortunes. The ambiance ain't bad. I'll be back, but I probably never will because any little birdie that I'd never fly there with would probably squawk at the fuzzy ice machine.
