This place is a hidden gem in Scarborough Dorset Park area…read more Excellent pizza joint who is looking for Speciality pizza without buring their bank. Good ingredients, freshly baked and soft base dough.

There were some seating outside but it was only the one table for two people. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The only downfall was that they ran out of meat sauce so the lasagna was out of the question but they made up for it in the pizza flavours. The menu is pretty straightforward; they offer multiple types of pizza ranging from classic meat lovers to unique ones like smoked salmon or tandoori chicken. I ended up ordering the four cheese because I was in a cheesy mood. The pizza was amazing. The crust had a nice puff up but was not so crunch that it would cut the roof of your mouth. The sauce-to-dough ratio was perfect, and neither ingredient overpowered the other. The cheeses they used (Ricotta, Feta, Bocconcini and cream cheese) didn't clash with each other, and it just seemed to be a slice of cheesy goodness with every bite. The pizza was not greasy, so no mountain of napkins was needed. A must-try if your into pizza and like my nannu says in Sicilian "Veni e pigghiati 'u divertimentu" (Come and enjoy it already).

We went again one morning and picked up some breakfast items and also some lunch items which were already out. Each and every dish we had - idlis, medu vada, rolls, puttu, were amazing. The sambhar was OK, but the chutneys provided were really good. The spicy soy, spinach, eggplant and okra dishes were outstanding. I can't wait to go multiple times to try different dishes. The prices are reasonable and the service is a bit slow as there is a good line when very busy. The inside is fairly clean and the staff is careful and keeps the counter clean.

For the 3 curries I just asked for the woman's 3 favourite curries and I think I got chickpea, soybean and spinach curry. The rice was a short and thick brown rice. The chickpea curry was decent, nothing notable 3/5. Soybean is like Chinese fried gluten and was SPICY. This was the most tasty imo 4/5. Spinach was pretty average and kind of had a frozen spinach flavour to it 3/5. The paneer curry I got had a lot of pea flavour than other places. Paneer is super squeaky and chewy but didn't really absorb the flavour of the curry. I was expecting a more creamy tomato flavour. A bit of a let down since I was craving shahi paneer. 2/5 Okra curry had the signature gooey/slimeiness but not in a gross way. Compared to the other stuff it was mediocre, nothing notable tbh. 3/5 Wish they had a menu but I just got a random mix of stuff and tried this place on a whim. Be aware the food is basically room temp so you'll need to heat it up again (maybe for food safety too). We'll see how I feel tomorrow but so far I'd recommend this place for cheap eats. Giving it a 4/5 solely because of price point and value. I'll update once it compare samosas with samosa king next door too. Update: feeling good today. Also had the samosas. They're not bad for $0.20 each but comparing them to samosa king next door, they're both ok at best. The filling in these samosas is really wet/loose so it's more like a paste. Flavour wise the filing is decent, beware if you can't handle spiciness because these a spicier than other places. The wrapping is thin and chewy and doesn't really reheat well (samosa king ones are thicker crust and reheat well). If I was to compare against other places where they're like $1+ each (like samosa sultan) these are 1/5 but the price to value ratio I'd give it a 3/5. Unlikely I'd come here (or samosa king) specifically for samosas. They both need a chutney or sauce to make them good tbh.
