We are done with Papa John's continuously dealing service. Just this past Friday we ordered on line to pick up at the Post Falls store. The tracker said "...ready between 5:35-5:44. I arrived at 5:42 and was told my pizza would be at least another 20 minutes. They were " busy" and had "... new people in training." Several other times we ordered over the past year, from the same store, (usually at least once a month) they got the order wrong or wasn't even delivered. This store has changed managers a couple of times recently and the very young, apparently inexperienced, new managers are not correcting the same old issues. It's pizza. Worse pizza place EVER! Made an order at 6:06pm 7:30 came and went and still no pizza. Was on hold for almost 20 minutes when someone finally answered, when I asked about our pizza it would take another 25 minutes plus delivery. 3 hours for pizza!!!!! So went into the store with a lobby full of people. Demanded a refund with zero accountability and it an even, "sorry" for the delay. I was shocked to read the negative reviews, but I see they're all from a long time ago or issues from non-customers other people in the parking strip. So look, this is a Papa John's. Don't order from here and expect Dinardi's quality, but for a Papa John's? Definite 5 star. The ones I grew up with were not very good. This one? Very well run and great tasting food every time. I've been "forced" to get delivery a lot lately. Can't leave my apartment all the time. They've always delivered it super fast. Fresh, hot tasting pizza and boneless wings every time. Got it like 4 times over 3 weeks. One time I had an issue, and someone I assume was the manager quickly resolved it after calling. I still have no idea why they put a pepper in with every pizza. That puzzles me but I don't think this store has a say in it. read more

Really bad experience with customer service!! First time the staff forgot the drinks we had on our order and my wife was unaware what I'd ordered so she just came home (30 minutes away...) second time pizza order was messed up with missing toppings etc... manager said she would put a pizza on my account ("quality routine") but when I called in to redeem it I was told nothing was there except for the drinks which I'd completely forgotten/given up on. After holding a few minutes for the manager on staff i was told there was NO pizza on my account and the worst part was this manager would not even believe me, take my word for it or at very least allow me to play the voice mail I still have from the other manager mentioning my free pizza! I don't know about all these other reviews in town, but I've only ever ordered delivery from these guys.. and Every single time I've ordered (50+times) they have gotten a hot pizza to my door in under40minutes. When I order a 20oz soda, I occasionally get a 2liter on "accident" and I'm never charged extra. That's pretty dang cool. Maybe the dine in exppierience is different? Maybe not. I'm the manager of a local restaurant and in my professional opinion, this is the best delivery pizza in town. I've also never been placed on hold, which is kind of amazing. First off, I don't usually write reviews or make an account for such. But at this point I had to say something since everything depends on people's opinions (online) now. I love Papa John's pizza. Ever since I tried it beyond dominoes and the like, I found the alfredo sauce to be my favorite sauce on a pizza. The food is good. Tasty for pizza and hot wings. This is not my complaint, but I must emphasize the BS I was just given by manager Abby of the Post Falls store. Not sure if I spoke with someone at the age of 16, but she sure acted like it. I called to let her know I paid for four extra sauces and that this was not the first time, but the third time this had happened. I chose not to complain before because I thought "giving them another chance and another" is ok. Honestly, no. Just. No. As a manager, your job is to take care of customer satisfaction. That is your NUMBER ONE goal in hospitality. Everybody who is anybody in the industry (me included) knows this! This young lady not only assumed I was asking for entire refund (which I paid almost 70 dollars worth of food and tipped the driver 19 dollars on top of that), but complained to ME (THE CUSTOMER) how "full" her screen was and how busy she was. (UM, good for you? Are you going to focus on one thing [one customer] at a time, or are you going to bitch at me like I know you??)! All I asked for was "a discount or something" and she offered a 10 dollar reward towards my next purchase, which I would have to call this particular store and give them my name to use. (HEADS UP Y'ALL: Why don't you just say something like this: "I am so sorry for the mix up and I will email you a 10 dollar discount code to use on your next purchase. Thank you for calling and letting us know.")??? it would be WAY easier AAANNND convenient for both you and the customer! I told her who the driver lady was (Miss Alina - nice lady) because I had asked her if the sauces were in there before she left and she said "Well they put stickers on the box, so hopefully they are in there." Of course, I didn't feel up to putting all the boxes on the ground and opening them all to look, so I assumed and agreed with her. When telling Abby this and asking her how Alina's name was pronounced, she didn't even know how to pronounce this lady's name. (This was also not a third-party deliverer. It was a Papa John's delivery vehicle). I thought that was so fucked up. I work at Texas Roadhouse and my manager knows every single employee's name (over 200 employed folks at our Cd'a location). I don't get to order pizza hardly at all anymore because I live in the mountains 30 minutes out of town, so this was a "treat" for my mother and her ex-boyfriend and I. This last sentence is for corporate. Next time you fuckers choose a manager, make sure they are of a decent age and maturity level before you send them into a managing position. This place will go out of business again soon. They use Grubhub or something to deliver. Uninsulated delivery went to the wrong house. He let me know via text it was dropped. Not at my house but I was able to text him to get him and complained about google maps. If you can't read the numbers on the house, you shouldn't deliver. Worst customer service. Ordered at 530. Called restaurant back at 645. I'm in the Red Lion hotel. .07 miles away. They couldn't get my pizza to me because they didn't write down my room number. During the order I gave them my first and last name, I guess they are not intelligent enough to stop at the front desk and ask which room I am in. I guess they couldn't be bothered to call the phone number I provided either. Update: I ordered a pizza from Pizza Hut at 651 it was delivered at 717. This owner is terrible. He is childish, he flips off customers and other business owners. His delivery truck and drivers block access to entire strip mall. The previous pizza company that was in there, always was very thoughful about parking and delivery days. This owner and his employees and rude and just plain mean. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered online this evening and received the delivery on time. The driver was nice but two items were missing from my order. I called the store to let them know (after a short wait on hold). Apparently any complaining customer is "an asshole" as the employee put the phone down, but did not put it on mute, to speak with the manager. The manager then spoke with me, only resolving part of the incomplete order and not reprimanding the employee for talking about customers in a disrespectful manner. We've ordered from this Papa Johns many times and never had a problem. Tonight our order was missing marinara sauce for the garlic knots and one of our drinks. We called back to have a drink and a new order of knots with sauce delivered (as the old ones would be cold and soggy by the time the sauce arrived.) My fiancé explained this to the girl who answered... not yelling or using foul language. We had the phone on speakerphone and the girl put him on "hold" to speak with her manager.... only he wasn't on hold and we could clearly hear her tell her manager "this guy is being an asshole." Of course this would be extremely aggravating to anyone, so my fiancé then demanded to speak to a manager (Donald) who was NOT apologetic for the missing items or for his employees language. I will say the delivery driver was very nice and apologized for the inconvenience when she came back with the drink and sauce. But it would have been nice if the manager would have taken responsibility for his employee calling my fiancé an "asshole" for requesting what we paid for to begin with.
