I heard from the grapevine that this place has the best wings in Greenville, South Carolina, so I…read morehad to try them to see for myself. We encountered the most friendliest service ever as the guy at the register had the best sense of humor, I mean really I felt like I was at a comedy spot. This just means he loves his job and serving his customers. The sign says they have plenty to choose from and they absolutely do have plenty to choose from. As I was sitting waiting for my order the guest before us ordered a cup of the famous pineapple sweet tea to go then after tasting it they came back in and ordered a gallon of the pineapple sweet tea. I was impressed because I heard her say she didn't like flavored tea. I ordered 6 lemon pepper wings and 6 garlic Parmesan wings with fried okra and Mac and cheese and southern cornbread muffin. I made sure I ordered the pineapple sweet tea. The wings were OK, I enjoyed the garlic parmesan better than the lemon pepper wings. The lemon pepper wings have a very strong lemon taste which wasn't horrible just overly strong for me. The fried okra had a good flavor and the mac and cheese was to die for I enjoyed the pineapple sweet tea the most. I wanted to try the peach cobbler for dessert but they were sold out. Get in early as M & J Wings closes at 6pm.

This was my first time eating there, but not my families. I am super picky about wings, so I wanted to give them a far shot, despite not hearing the best reviews on the community. Pass on the fries. Not certain of the seasoning or if it's just the potato, but they were not good. Wings were cooked well. I would certainly go for the wet sauce versus a dry rub. Dry rub doesn't have much flavor. I would give the food a 6/10. My kids enjoyed the wings! Low scoring is for the fact that there were four people workers that were standing around, and talking around the food prep area. My food was not prepared on time, not super late, but for the fact that I saw the workers standing around, I'm confused about why my order was not ready on time.
