The receipt says the name of Tabitha but I'm unsure if that was our waitress or whomever was just logged into the front register. Please anyone and everyone go there and bless this lady with CASH TIPS! Regardless, our waitress was amazing and deserved $1,000.00 tip if we were able to do so. ***THIS OWNER COULD POSSIBLY BE RETAINING CUSTOMERS INFORMATION DUE TO THE ACTIONS HE TRIED TODAY!!*** Now to the worse part... we go to the register to pay. The receipt is printed and our cost was $118.71. Today is Thanksgiving day and we wanted to bless our waitress for her great service and as a simple act of kindness. This is what we do! The owner came to the register and said he wanted to see my husband's id to insure it was indeed his credit card because we were leaving our waitress a $220.00 tip. (Granted, this is a business in Winchester, KY and we are from Lexington, KY where the bigger restaurants must allow their employees to get a blessed tip.) They matched up and then he proceeds to flip the credit card over and says he needs to take a picture of his credit card info along with his drivers license and also writes my husbands telephone number on the receipt. That's a big negative! My husband says no, then retrieves his cards. There's no reason he would need the credit card info and his drivers license info if the credit card had already been swiped and approved. Actually there's no reason anyone should take a front and back picture of your credit card and drivers license. The owner gets pissed off and says he will only accept $20.00 charged on the card for her tip and that our tip was an unreasonable amount for her. My husband says he will just give her cash. The owner says, that's fine, go to the bank and get cash to give to her. My husband says he has the money on him and gives her the cash in person. The owner says fine, pay your bill and thanks for tip. Excuse me asshole. That tip was not for you and I hope that she gets to keep it. From the way he acted, it seemed like he was an abusive boss/owner! Our waitress was in tears and gave us each a huge hug along with her daughter that was there. The way that this man acted was so disturbing as if his employees don't deserve to be blessed. I hope that God blesses this lady and her family that she finds a better boss then this asshole! We couldn't really express how we felt about his actions in fear of he may retaliate against her. This post is not to deter anyone from going to this business but to just inform you all that if you want to give this waitress a blessing, bring cash because her asshole, abusive, prejudiced boss won't let you and will make the employee feel as if they don't deserve a blessing. I encourage anyone and everyone to please go here and bless this waitress! She's only been at the restaurant a few weeks and she says she's just moved to Winchester from Lexington for a fresh start with her children!

I haven't had a pizza place be so good, I literally tell everyone whoever mentions the word, "pizza" to try this spot. The pizza has always been made perfectly, and the ranch being house made makes such a big difference. The staff is always super friendly and accommodating. There is some space to eat inside, and it is clean, so enjoy your slices there if you'd like. There are various coupons online and if you pick up your pizza, there's a discount code for that too. Overall, delish pizza is one of the best there is, especially the garlic chicken speciality, that one hits different in a great way. Also, the fact that this pizza box has a prayer on it, should speak volumes. Christian or not, being prayed over even through a pizza box with the Bible verse is such a blessing. Enjoy yourself and support a local business.

Okay, I have to admit I am a bit of a pizza snob. I curl my nose up at Papa John's, Pizza Hut,…read moreDominoes, and all the "lesser" chains. Well, pretty much all the chains, except for Jet. I can't say they are the absolute best pizza I have ever eaten. I've been around the pizza world a bit. In Louisville, you've got hot competition like Imperazelli's and DiOrio's, and even in Lexington, Mad Mushroom is no slouch, especially with their deliciously cheesy pizzas. However, Jet holds it's own and stands above the chains. Far above, imo. Thick crust is tasty, and has the crunchy corners that make it delicious. It's fairly consistent, too. I've eaten it for years. The only time it falls down a little is when they rarely, but occasionally, overcook it. Even then, it's still good. Add a little red pepper, and it's golden for me. It's not cheap for a chain, but these days, none of them really are cheap. Even going to Sonic costs over $10 for a combo burger meal. So I still wouldn't call Jet's expensive. I do think when you're eating in, they could probably walk it to you table rather than expect you to sit down, then get back up and get the pizza. Table service is pretty iffy here. Sometimes you get it, often not, just depending on the person serving you and their temperament. But I have no major gripes. If you want solid Detroit-style pizza in Lexington, this is it for my tastes.

The place is super small and even though they have 2 tables and 4 booths, I wouldn't eat in there. The place was miserably hot and I felt bad for the 5-6 staff members working in there on Saturday. The service was slow and our order was wrong. We got charged for ranch and didn't get any and they completely missed 1 of our orders of the Honey BBQ Boneless Chicken. We didn't get charged for the missed item. Once we got home with the food, it was good, just a bad experience at the restaurant. The food is overpriced for the quality.
