Came to Bubba to enjoy some food with friends. I had the fried fish plate which comes with fries and slaw. I ordered a side of fried pickles as well. Everything came out quick, very yummy! It was so much fish I took some home for lunch. The vibes were great, they even served ale8 so that was lovely. If you enjoy fish, wings and burgers this is your spot! read more

Ok it may not be much to look at from the outside, but I loved the fried egg roll mozzarella sticks! We also got wings and they were good but I chose dry rub which was very plain. I would try them again with teriyaki or garlic Parmesan. Everything was made fresh while we waited. They were very friendly and the prices were fair. read more

This place is the real deal. If you want a delicious, juicy, greasy smashburger, you must try this place. The fries are very good and lightly seasoned. Crispy outside and soft inside but the real star of the show is The Double Bubba Grub! My only criticism is that they don't have Heinz ketchup. These have to be the best burgers in Nicholasville (definitely the best I've had) and if you're a burger lover then this is the place to go. You won't be disappointed. read more

It just wasn't as good as I thought it'd be maybe try giving more portions. The burger was really normal and it was very quiet read more

The food and service were terrific. The fish was seasoned and fried well, and the burger was seasoned well and was very juicy. For the price I paid the experience was worth it; the environment and staff were very welcoming, and the place was immaculate. If I could write this with more than five stars, I would. read more

I have been wanting to come here for a while now, and after seeing a TikTok video, I decided to give it a try. First off, the fries were really good, but everything goes downhill from there. My Husband got the Bubba plain hamburger, when he picked it up, the meat crumbled and fell off the bun, and ended up throwing half of it away. I ordered the Chicken Sammie, did not like the breading at all and had to pick it off. The fountain machine was not working, and the garbage can was overflowing. Needless to say, this will be my first and only visit. read more

Absolutely Disgusting Experience - Avoid at All Costs This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences my wife and I have ever had. The customer service was shockingly bad-rude, inattentive, and completely unprofessional from the moment we walked in. The food? Absolutely disgusting. My wife ended up with food poisoning that had her sick for two days after eating here. The store itself was filthy. Dirty floors, sticky tables, and a horrible smell that should have been our first clue to turn around and leave. We stayed, unfortunately -- and paid the price. Out of curiosity, I did a little digging after our visit, and what I found made everything make sense: the owner's mug shot is posted online. That's right -the person in charge of this disaster of an establishment has a criminal record. I wouldn't want someone like that anywhere near my food, and neither should you. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. There are too many good restaurants out there to waste your time, money, and health here. read more

Got a double with mushrooms, sautéd onions, and pepper jack cheese and a side of regular fries. The food came out fairly quickly and was great. The fries were crispy without being overcooked. The burger was juicy. I will definitely eat here again. read more

Love this little whole in the wall! The burgers are delicious - but be prepared for the grease! The fries were crispy and flavorful. The boneless wings are huge! We also loved the fried mozzarella egg rolls. Everyone was so sweet and friendly. read more

The food was interesting. I appreciate the innovation of this place. I think the flavors could be heightened. It's worth a visit! read more

Seen the video on Instagram and had to give the place a try. Over all it wasn't terrible. The burger sauce was delicious and loved the sautéed onions. But I had to add the garden to it. The burger overall was good. The chicken sandwich was also good. Definitely recommend keeping the slaw on it. It balanced out the saltiness to it. I've had better pickles, they were very thin, not very crunchy, and very salty. The ranch was delicious though. The apple egg rolls were probably my least favorite. They would probably be better with some type of sauce with them. Over all definitely worth giving the place a shot. read more

Food is decent. It's no better than a burger from a fast food restaurant. You'll definitely want to add more fries and that's not worth it given the price. Some restaurants like Wendy's have buy one get one any size free on Friday's. read more

Came here yesterday for the first time and I would never go back there again. Burger and wings was VERY plain no seasoning at all. The didn't have lemon pepper so I had to change my order . I also got fries and it literally came with about 10 fries . The lemonade was sour. Never again ! read more

We've gone here a handful of times already and have only had amazing, hot, fresh food. The fries are always hot and crispy and well seasoned. The donut burger is a MUST TRY! Service is welcoming and kind. Owner is very friendly and knowledgeable. Jack's might be missed, but this new addition to the Amoco gas station hasn't missed yet! read more

It is exactly what it appears to be. I got a double Bubba Grub burger with onion rings and fried pickles. Burger was sloppy and good, onion rings were okay. Probably should have just gotten the fries. The fried pickles were great. read more

A really solid burger with a good price point in a gas station. The story of this place is really cool with the young guy who runs it. It's definitely an overall good, if not great, burger. The spot is a little whatever, but that adds to the charm for many, myself included. For those who live there, it's probably the best option for a burger in all of Nicholasville, would be my wager. The fries came out a bit too greasy with the packaging being soaked through, but that's part of it as well. A great concept for sure. read more

Pitiful. Ordered chicken strips and fries at 7:30 pm. Got a text at 7:42 saying that they were ready. Waited 45 minutes and finally got my order. Fries were ice cold and the strips were stale. Never again. Should've gone to Dairy Queen instead. Get it together guys!! read more

Didn't expect what we ate from this Bubba Grub's located inside of a gas station. We tried the mozzarella rolls which would have been better if they were cooked a little longer. Fried pickles which were getting double fisted by the kids so but the few I had were great. The donut double cheeseburger also a kid favorite and nice sweet and savory flavor. Peanut butter double was okay but wouldn't order it again. And finally the Nashville hot chicken probably my favorite. Good prices and fast friendly service. read more

The food we ordered was completely inedible. When we asked for a refund. They argued and was combative saying there was nothing wrong. We showed them the disgusting food, and the owner was completely rude and actually aggressive. I will never return. read more

Decided to try this place, wont ever do that again. Someone did actually take our order but the people after us had to enter their order on a kiosk. We got apps & wings. The appetizers were good (fried pickles and loaded fries) even though they charged us for a side of ranch that was supposed to come with it. We got 2 flavors of wings- inferno & hot buffalo. Paid $2 extra for all drummies (and still only got 11 and one was a wing!). The wings came out in a basket and they didn't even have plates. As for the food-The inferno wasnt hot and the flavor was blah. The hot buffalo tasted good but my first wing was half raw inside so I was pretty much done after that. It was ridiculously expensive for what it was and I'll never go back. If I get sick later from an undercooked chicken wing I will be calling the health department. I will say the chairs at the table were very comfy, but overall, it lacked anything that would ever make me go back. Ever. Overpriced and not good. read more

We have tried the burgers, wings and fish. Everything was really good but we found the coleslaw and onion rings lacking
