Horrible! Received email food was delivered never received. Was supposed to be delivered by a Cynthia R. Which she received tip but I didn't receive pizza. I called back to Lovejoy location spoke to Manager Aaron I was told I have to cancel my order in order for the person to not receive the tip which I never received the order in the first place. I went to pick up my ordered. Walked into the lobby, and have this employee telling me 'Can't allow you in here!!' I'm like 'Huh?' He was like 'Can't have anyone in here!!' I told him I was picking up. Then the other guy say I can pick up at the window. At least they could've be nice about it. That's all I need to know. I understand due to the Covid-19 that things will change. If they don't want anyone that's picking up or placing an order in the lobby, at least keep the doors lock. I'm pretty sure they can do that. I ordered pizza last night from this location and it arrived before the expected delivery time. Not only was that amazing, they gave me all the seasoning packets, parmesan packets and red pepper flake packets that I asked for with no hesitation. The delivery driver was very nice, he did not walk across my lawn because his mama raised him well and I appreciated that very much. What did I order you ask... the Shaq XL Pepperoni Pizza, it was good. It had lots of pepperoni and cheese on it. I mean besides tasting like a pepperoni pizza there was not much else to report about. Garlic Knots... Oh my goooddddddddddd. Now these were every freaking thing!!!! I have never ordered garlic knots from papa johns but these were so buttery and soft a little darker than I would like but it did not stop me from smashing these.... and you get to pick a dipping sauce and I got the cheese and it just nmade it super extra delicious. Pizza is always hot and tasty. Delivery people are super friendly. My only complaint would be to remove the hard stem pieces of the jalapenos and banana peppers. Also, when someone orders a garlic butter they are wanting an additional to go along with the one complimentary garlic butter, not to have their money stolen and only give them one. read more

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would. I came Here on a Friday night , I placed an order at 7:30 pm and didn't get my order until 9:20. This was for carry out ! however I came all the way from NY to visit my mother in law can't find good food around locust grove. So even though it has two/three stars I decided to give it a try. Worst decision ever. Please DO NOT COME HERE. You will waste your time !!! I drove through the drive thru the guy said he had one pizza box ready but not the other one, to wait at the parking lot for five minutes. Ten minutes later.. I had my kids in the car waiting this whole time for pizza. I was fuming inside. The man took until 9:20 to bring out my food if it wasn't for my kids I wouldn't wait this long. Customer service is terrible I don't care how busy you are. This establishment needs to communicate better with their staff. Retrain these employees to stop messing up orders and get it right. I really wish I could give them a negative star or zero stars. I ordered a pizza for delivery on a Saturday. The estimated delivery time on their website was 26- 36 min. I called after an hour to check on my pizza, the Papa John employee said the delivery driver was leaving the store now. 45 min later still no pizza. I call back, another employee tells me my delivery will take another hour. At this point it's about 2hrs and they give me the option to cancel or come pick up the pizza. I cancelled the pizza. Their customer service was horrible! The employee didn't care and I will never order from them again! read more

Of the chain pizza restaurants, Papa John's is my favorite. I have ordered take out, as well as delivery. When I ordered takeout, I placed the order from their handy app on my phone. When I got there, some employees were standing outside putting up a window decal. They greeted and opened the door for me which I thought was nice. There was a woman handling the front area, and she was as pleasant as you would expect one of their employees to be (kinda not really). I informed her that I placed my order online, and she pulled it up without any trouble. After I paid, she inaudibly muttered something, in which I just proceeded to stand there. I have my pizza, but I'm sure she saw that I also ordered a two liter soda. I stand there a few more seconds, and ask her, "am I just supposed to get my drink myself?". She says yes, so I proceed to do so and leave. Love that awesome customer service!! (has anyone else noticed that I'm a stickler for customer service?) My second experience with this particular store was last night when I ordered delivery. I ordered a large meat lovers pizza with extra cheese, and 2 extra peppers that are included on the side. I received the pizza in a timely manner, and the delivery guy was nice. My problem was with the pizza itself. I hate hate hate hate hate (did I say hate) thin crust pizza. I like Papa John's for its big fluffy crust that I can dip into the garlic sauce. So tell me why my pizza was deflated and overcooked? And since when does extra cheese mean less meat? I haven't been this displeased with Papa Johns in a very very long time. I didn't call and complain because waiting on another pizza for another 45 min to an hour was not going to go over well with my stomach. Plus, I don't trust that some worker won't spit or do some other unsightly thing to my pizza. If I could choose no stars that's what I would have done! Every time I have ordered here they have delivered my order incomplete. Today I ordered two large pizzas and breadsticks. I was told the delivery time would be in 30minutes. I waited 1 hour and 47min to receive my meal. When it was finally delivered the pizzas and breadsticks were ice cold! Horrible service! I do not suggest this location to anyone. Nothing but bad experience. I will not ever order from here again. The sad thing is my home is only a half a mile away from this location and I still received my order cold and almost two hours after I called it in. When I called to complain to the manager I was told he could not speak to me. I did an online delivery order and it took 21/2 hours to get my pizzas. They never called or emailed me to say what the problem was or why it was taking so long. When I called to see what was going on I talked with a very nice young lady that told me to call back in 15 minutes and if they had not left with my pizzas by then she would credit me and give me a free pizza. When I called back (more than 30minutes later trying to give them the benefit of the doubt) and spoke with someone else she basically told me that my pizzas were on the way and hung up on me. So I paid for my pizzas when they finally got there and told the driver how upset I was and he could care less. I will NOT be going to that Papajohns location any time soon!! read more

We order on a regular basis. I have sons in college and their friends come over and game quite a bit. We ordered the pizza, after an hour & 15 min we called to see what's going on since the delivery time was 45 min. The manager told me that the delivery guy couldn't find us so he came back to the store. No one called me at all, they said my number must have been wrong in the system. Wow!!! So, I asked him how is that possible when they deliver here all of the time and he said, and I quote, "I know ma'am, you order all the time!" I'm blown away! He sent the guy back out with my same pizzas because they were barely warm. I could not believe this!! After all of that, they gave me the same pizzas! They could've re-made them so they would be hot. Amazingly, the same delivery guy found us the second time around. Wow!! The manager was horribly unprofessional and they will not get our business anymore!!!!! They don't deserve the one star, but it was the only way to give my review. I'm totally speechless!! read more
