We use to order from here a couple times a month but now, it seems like they are skimping on ingredients AND they cannot get an order right for ANYTHING!!! I even have the person taking the order to read it back and still, they manage to screw it up!!! I'm from Chicago so the pizza in Georgia sucks anyway but, this was our go to and now they suck!!! The manager Lacy (or Lacey) might be the worst manager I have ever encountered in customer service. I ordered a simple half and half pizza, online, today at 6:07 p.m. At 6:48 p.m. I called to inquire about the status of my order and was told that it would arrive within 5 minutes. The person I spoke to, a young man, was actually pleasant to speak to (even though my food was not delivered in that time). At 7:21p.m., over 30 minutes after my first call, I called again and asked to speak to a manager (Lacy). The first excuse she gave me was that the store is operating under some new system that prioritizes all of the walk-ins. This was her explanation for why my orders have been late, and cold, for the past three years every time I stumble back in and give this particular Marcos another chance. After failing to mislead me the first time I got an even better excuse from Lacy. My order was misplaced. That's right, "misplaced" because an exactly identical order to my half and half (two specialty) pizza came in at the exact same time. So my pizza had to be remade... The same pizza that was already in route to me at 6:48 p.m. (expected in 5 minutes) had to be remade. But it gets better, Lacy was kind enough to laugh on the phone as she explained this because it was hilariously bizarre. I mean, what are the odds right? Instead of offering solutions, a discount, or at the very least removing the tip I paid for up front, Lacy asked me this, in essence, "Do you want the pizza or not sir, because I'm not going to sit here and talk about this with people in front of me." It is no longer the delivery drivers, or the preps, that raise concerns about this establishment but management itself. This is not someone that should be leading this establishment. Lacy lacks professionalism, consideration, mannerisms, or anything else that would promote a business. Horrible experience due to lack of training and terrible customer service by the manager. DO NOT GIVE THIS RESTAURANT YOUR MONEY! I called at 7:11 pm and ordered a carryout Lg pepperoni. Was told it would be 15 min. I called back to make sure they had my name and they responded with my phone number and name. Arrived and called from my car at 7:34 and was told it would be a few more minutes. Went in and waited a long time. Asked about my pizza and got a blank stare. Was told they don't have it. They questioned if I called their store and showed them my call information list and the three times I called. I asked if they could please make the pizza while I wait, put it at the front of the orders or could they discount or upsize my pizza??Manager comes out and says no and makes me feel like the problem was my fault. I show her their website, my phone call list. I said there was an offer on the website for a Lg Pizza for 9.99 and the girl who took my order said the total cost would be $10.75. Manager says, did you give her the code? I said No, I didn't know and she didn't ask. Manager says, you needed to give her the code. I said, I had no idea, she should have asked me for it. Manager says she won't give me any comp or discount. And asks if I still want to order a pizza. Upset, I said YES!! She's upset, I am upset and then she says she's not making it for me. I must say that I am so pleased with my first experience from beginning to end! I was hesitant because I was hungry and didn't want to risk trying something new. The young lady that took my order was so nice and accurate. She was very cheery. The delivery was record time! Lol; I gave him a $5 tip and prayed the food was good. This might've been the most perfect pizza I ever tasted! The crust is the awesome sauce and the sauce was just how I like it (not too little, not too much). The cheesy bread was something to be mentioned! I was on the phone with a friend and I couldn't stop taking about how perfect the bread is. I literally couldn't stop eating the cheesy bread. Walked in and ordered the 2 topping medium special; Pepperoni with Bacon and Pepperoni with mushroom. The order taker had his headphones in his ear. Order took 15 minutes I go up and he says the order is ready while sweeping. He proceeds to box the pizza. I had to remind him to wash his hands from touching the broom. He gives me one of the pizzas a Pepperoni and sausage. Then asks is this Ok. No it wasn't ok because it's not what I ordered. Looks like it's a new staff or management. We placed an order online not only did they give us all the pizzas wrong but when we asked to BUY ( as in pay) for another one that had no bufallo sauce mind you a 4 ye old was going to eat. We also saw it in the website and on the Marcos app. So we tried to order the 6.99 deal on the app. It wouldn't work. We tried the website. Nope. Wouldn't work. So I called the store. The reply I got was " we can't do that, it's not in our computer". So I mentioned it's on your app, your website, and on television. The reply was "we can't do it". I really didn't know what to say. We bought Lg Deluxe pizza today, 5/29/21and my boy friend even did not noitice that every slice of pizza had only one piece of pepperoni. He ate half when I opened the box and noticed it. I call back to Marco's pizza on Johnsboro road, Mcdonough and Steve picked up phone. Then, when I tried to explain my issue he hanged up on me. I called again. Finally, Steve told me bring it back and they would replace it. I brought pizza back and they told me they cannot replace it because it was half eaten. I told them on a phone that my boy friend did not notice it and ate half. Very rude people as well I think the owner is the same. I told my boy friend never ever again buy pizza from Marco's. My friend and I shared a medium Pepperoni + jalapeño pizza, which came to a total of $15 (pricier than most places). Regardless of the the high price, we would order from here again. read more

Unfortunately Marcos is one of my favorite places for pizza, but the service at this location is far from "Bad" it is horrible. You order what you want, and they give you what "they" want. After having my food delivered to my place of business, I find out majority of my order was wrong, I called to have it corrected...not only did they not take any responsibility, but also did not feel any need to compensate me for wasting over the current hour of my employees time and my company's event. The driver arrives about an hour later, and the first thing he states is, I need the wrong pizza's before, I can release these...(what are you going to do? re-serve them...am I going to get my money back for the entire order of 15 pizzas). He left making a racist/derogatory statement to the effect of he doesn't make the damn rules f*****g N, so I decided to speak with the owner to voice my frustration and disbelief in what just happened, and he was just as nonchalant/arrogant as the driver and stated yes I told him to pick up what was wrong, and no there is no compensation because we corrected the order. So, my question to him is how about the 2 hour turn around to correct it, and I have hungry associates here...He states we are a franchise and I can do what I want..That did it for me, I have never been treated with such respect, and I could not believe Marcos would allow a franchisee to disrespect their brand and name..Needless to say, Ill never go back to this location or any other Marcos. The worse delivery time I've ever experienced. If my son wasn't looking forward to having pizza and movie night I would have cancelled.

I always enjoyed the chicken pizza here. The nice thing is you can ask for light sauce and they'll actually put like sauce on your pizza. Delivery makes it really convenient, but the locations are really easy to get to. This one is really close to target so you can pick up a pizza on the way home from picking up groceries. read more

I felt sorry for the girl that was behind the counter for being so busy until she spoke. She was hands down the rudest "customer service" person I have ever met...and I use to work at Comcast... My mother and I both tried to call in to order pizza. Website states that delivery stops at 9:30PM, it's not even close to 9 as of me writing this. Upon answering, we were both placed on hold. I called about five minutes after her. She gets told they are no longer accepting deliveries after having waited 15 minutes. Myself, at about 10 minutes, get told the same thing. I can hear my mother in the other room talking to the manager, while she's talking with him, I get a story opposite of what the manager is trying to feed my mother. During all this, I'm trying to also place an order online. Website isn't any better. Not sure why I need to place a time for my pizza to be ordered if I'm selecting for it to be ordered today. Then to make it worse, I can't actually input the time. I can only select from the designated numbers in the dropdown box, which is broken up into 15 minute increments. Wouldn't be too bad if it weren't for the error message that comes up stating a future time must be designated just to even try to place the order. Was skeptical at first since last pizza business in same location wasn't to good. Gave them a try with my kids discount card ( purchased from their school) and they were great! Customer service is OK but pizza is awesome. Always make sure to get garlic butter on crust makes it so much better. First, Marco's has fantastic pizza. Unfortunately, if you try to order pizza on a weekend you may never get it. Twice we have tried to order pizza on a Friday night and it was not ready when they said it would be ready. I ordered online (both times) and it indicated that it would be ready within 35 minutes. Arrived at scheduled time and the first time i waited for another 20 minutes for total of 55 minutes. The second time, I thought that i would give them a few extra minutes based on my previous experience, I found after talking to the manager would not be even placed in the oven for another 15 minutes. Bringing the total time for the pizza to be to ready at 75 minutes. These times are not unreasonable if you have it delivered, however if i am picking it up it should be ready when promised. read more

I used to be a Pizza Hut meat lovers fan but after I had a Marco's all meats there is no going back. The 4 cheese blend is incredible, the amount of meat they pile on is the most I have ever seen on a pizza. I have been stopping in about once a month since they opened and every time I have been there the staff has been prompt and courteous. They are one of the few establishments in this area that discounts for law enforcement and military. It's nice to know that some franchises recognize the sacrifice that some people give in the name of security and freedom. read more
