Clinton has many Knoxville fans, and nearly all are wearing Orange Ball hats whilst dining. I goto my XT5 to retrieve my OSU National Champs hat. At any rate Gondolier is full and most folks are having Italian or pizza. Caveat: This place is too good to order pizza.

Served bread sticks upon sitting. During salad course we were asked if we wanted more bread, we…read moresaid "no" as we still had a breadstick. Server took the one that was left. He didn't ask if we were done with them, just if we wanted more. When we got our calzone, we had asked for extra ricotta. There was almost none in the calzone. Being from NY, that's what makes a calzone a calzone. Many skimp on it, so we asked for extra. There was about a 1 TBS glob in one part of it. "Pepperoni" which was the fake red mini salami, was just in a lump I the middle of the calzone. The sauce had no flavor. It tasted like it was poured out of a can. Then we waited for the bill/ card to be picked up and we had to find someone to give it to. There was but one other customer, so no reason to wait. Overall, service was sub par and food was not good:( Not sure how this place even got to the 3.9 rating.

We took the kids to Universal recently because who doesn't love pizza?!…read more It was a solid experience and Christen our server was really really awesome and managed all her tables really well and was very friendly. We split a couple house salads which featured some terrific fresh produce (heirloom small tomatoes were the star of the show). Also - this is a little plug for their ranch dressing - restaurant style ranch dressing is a staple and the MVP condiment in the southeast and theirs is terrific. Throw some on your salad, dip your pizza crust, hell I'm pretty sure with how amazing it is you could use it as a skin moisturizer and it would dominate. Lastly, the pizza was terrific. The kids split a half cheese half pepperoni and the wife and I split a buffalo chicken pizza (subbed out cheddar for mozzarella). The buffalo chicken pizza was elite but not too spicy, they drizzled a little of the best ranch dressing on top and added some jalapeños and red onions and *chefs kiss* 10/10 - perfection. Overall the restaurant is a bit smaller and was crowded but the place is managed well and staffed even better. Make sure to check this place out if you're in the mood for pizza in Anderson Co.

Hands Down, One of the Best Pizza Restaurants in the U.S.!…read more I'm not kidding, this place is that good! It rivals some of the best pizza we've had in Italy, and it's right here in Knoxville, Tennessee! HINT: Make sure you have reservations! We went on a Thursday night and the place was absolutely packed. Thankfully, we had reservations! Once we were seated, we cooled down with an ice-cold beer and got started with Sourdough & Olive Oil, simple, but incredibly good. Then came the Mozzarella and a Special Pâté & Pickle Plate, which included a Mushroom & Pistachio Pâté. WOW! That pâté was crazy good! If you like getting outside your comfort zone and trying something different, this is a MUST. My son and I love to venture out and try new things, so we decided to take it up a notch and ordered the Trust Fall. They basically take over and create two pizzas with random toppings for you. What a cool concept! And let me tell you... SO, SO, SO GOOD! They even created our starter for us and paired everything with a bottle of wine. The whole experience was fun, creative, and completely different from your typical pizza restaurant. We also ordered the Sofia, a Pepperoni, and another pizza whose name escapes me. Every single one was AMAZING! And here's another HINT... DON'T EAT TOO MUCH! You're going to want room for the homemade Gelato! It is fantastic. One tip: If you already know you want a favorite flavor, especially Chocolate, order it with your meal. They can run out of the popular flavors. If you order it early, they'll scoop it up and save it in the freezer for you. Now THAT is service! Service was amazing. The pizzas were incredible. The concept was creative and fun. The gelato was the perfect finish. I honestly believe these are some of the best pizzas in the United States! If you live in Knoxville, or you're coming into town for a Vols football game , what are you waiting for?! GET YOUR RESERVATION IN NOW! You will not regret it. Cheers!

Little Caesars Pizza is the third largest pizza chain in the US operating out of their headquarters in Detroit. Little Caesars Pizza has franchises in Latin America, Asia, and the Middle East. Little Caesars Pizza got its start in 1959 and is the brain child of Detroit's Tiger's farm team shortstop Mick Illitch. From its simple begins in a Detroit strip mall, Little Caesars has grown to an international franchise. I dropped in on a weekday afternoon and partook in one of the Hot-N-Ready Pizzas. I was in and out with my order in less than 60 seconds. My orders was a Pepperoni pizza and an order of Crazy Bread. The Hot-N-Ready pizza concept was first introduced in 2004 and all impatient pizza lovers all over the breathed a sigh of relief. The process is quick, easy, and inexpensive. The pizza is descent but you get what you pay for and at $5 it;s a deal. The interior of the Little Caesars Pizza on N Charles G Seivers Blvd was clean and the staff friendly. The shelves were well stocked with sodas and dipping sauces for unwanted crusts. The employees appeared happy and were a buzz of activity. If you have $5, you're in Clinton, and have a hankering for generic affordable pizza stop by Little Caesars.

The pizza traveled well but the knots were steamed to excess in the carryout container and became so chewy that they were inedible by the time we ate. The pizza, however, was fantastic. We look forward to trying it again soon.

There is a closer Hoss to me but I always go to the Clinton Highway location. The Pizza is good, it's a tier above the national chains, and their Wednesday medium pizza special is a good value. I like a pizza that has a fluffy crust. We go here once a week and get a "thin" crust which is about the same chew as a local chains, their normal crust is a bit more fluffy - I like both normal & thin honestly. Their bone in wings are on point! Huge wings, with a well cooked, skin is not soggy - perfect. It's close, I like their specialty pizzas, their wings are better than the other local cafe options - way better than any chain. There is better pizza around - but the servers, the wings, the specialty pizza and flavors, I find myself here nearly every week so 4 stars.
