I was nothing but nice, I was told I would get a refund. I asked for confirmation and she expressed she could text it to me. As I was expressing appreciation, she hung up on me. Horrible customer service. Ordered pizzas online in advance. Showed up a few minutes early and didn't get out with the pizzas until more than 30 minutes later. To make it worse - first pizza was done and boxed on warming rack before they even started the second one. Cold - lousy pizza and horrible customer service - with no compensation. Pay up front and then get stuck with crap service and cold food. You know it's bad when door dash and uber eats drivers are coming in and saying - you're STILL here? This place is 0/5. For the third time I've ordered extra sauce. I have a family of seven. ALL five of my marinaras were 1/5 full. If you order no garlic sauce they don't even throw in the ones that should be supplied with each pizza, but if you order extra you get way too much. This place is pathetic. Normally I do not have any major issues with this establishment but today was different (which is why I gave 2 stars instead of just 1). I ordered through the app, which I've done many times before, at 1:30 pm for our order to be delivered at 7. When I called the store to find out about my order at 7:10 I was told that it was just now coming out of the ovens and that they were backed up 2 hours since it's a Friday night and the weather isn't "great". I'm sorry but I don't see how when I ordered 5 1/2 hours before I actually wanted the food this should affect my order. Better planning on their part is a must!! I've always loved Papa John's pizza it's a given that we order there when we want something like pizza to eat a couple of weeks ago I ordered a couple of pizzas when they got delivered I open them up and took a bite I got a chance to look closer at the pizza and saw something weird so I asked my husband and he told me those were fresh fly eggs clusters of them I am mediately got sick and we verified that they were indeed flags all over hundreds of them so we threw away the pizzas and called the company the manager was nice and said she would return my money and our next order would be on the house I told her it wasn't like that that I would be ordering there anytime soon but thank you. As fate would have it a week later I needed a quick meal and did not have time to cook as I am a student with a lot going on. I decided to take advantage of the offer Papa John's had offered to me. I called and spoke with a different manager who called me a liar was rude unnecessarily and demeaned me saying I must've heard her wrong and that although he wasn't there the pizza had not left that way I asked if he thought I had laid fly eggs and then decided to eat them and he said sorry he could not help me and hung up with him I have never been so demeaned and treated as if I were garbage by any place in my life I don't know why people these days can be so mean it wasn't even about the pizzas it was the way the man treated me after the situation I had dealt with. read more

So I ordered well over and hour before the store was set to close and was tracking the order on the app. Store closed at 1:00 and I never got anything! I was charged on my bank account and rewards were used for a product I never got! If you aren't going to deliver let your customer know so they can get something else especially late at night! We've always had exceptional service from this location. We live out in Fairfax, so getting delivery isn't easy, & even though their website says they don't deliver here (so we can't use online deals for delivery) they usually search for the best deal based on our order when we call in. The manager - John - has been there for a while, & whenever we do have a slight issue (ie: forgot our extra sauces, rare mistake on toppings) they go above & beyond to make up for it, and with a solid & professional attitude. It's chain pizza, so it's not exactly homemade quality, but it's pretty dang good for delivery & I can't say enough for their service. We had a 50 minute wait, $25 for a pizza, breadsticks and soda + tip and we found the center toppings of the pizza stuck to the top of the box when we got into our place (picture in photo section). We hadn't ordered from papa johns since May 2015 and now I remember why. Very, very disappointing. I have waited over 2 hours for a pizza tonight. i kept calling every 15 mins and they kept reassuring me the driver was on his way however after 2 hours of me and my family waiting and the time being 10.00PM and they finally said my pizza was lost!!!! The service here is absolutely TERRIBLE. Ordered a pizza and was told it would be 25 minutes. They took down my phone number and information. An hour later and still no pizza. I call them back, and they say the card was declined. Nobody ever called to tell me anything. So I said okay hold on while I get another card. The employee hangs up on me. I call again and tell them to forget the order completely. The guy says nothing and just hangs up on me AGAIN. I call for the last time and ask to speak to the manager. We have had TERRIBLE service here the last 3 times we've ordered. Last night we ordered carry out. Went in to pick it up and they had no idea why we were there. The employee who took our order didn't save it or something. They tried telling us we called a different location. Then when we told them the name of the person we spoke with they just stared at us. Previous visits we've called for delivery... an hour later still no pizza so we call to check the status. They lost our order or something. Again they claim we called a different location.
