I've had Papa Johns a few times and didn't really think their food was that great, but decided to give the pizza a try and enjoyed it! Doesn't taste the same as I remember from my childhood, but better than frozen pizza. I wish the pizza was more crispy though, instead of chewy, but the sauce is good and they add enough topping. It's easy to order on the app and pickup, earn "papa dough" and there are always specials going on too, so you can get food cheaper. read more

Worst pizza I had in Boiling Springs. Very little toppings. No taste! Frozen pizza has more toppings!

Every time I've ordered from this location, I always ask for the pizza to be cooked "well done". If you don't, it will come out raw and doughy. I assume because they aren't suited for high volume and get rushed. Well last night was my last attempt at trying to like this place. I received a not very well done pizza. The dough was undercooked even for normal standard. Me being me i still tried it and ended up with my head over the toilet all night with what felt like food poisoning. This used to be a good place before everyone started moving to the area. I'd rather take half the money and go eat little ceasers. At least it won't make people sick. read more

Have had terrible food in the past from this location. Decided to try again after a few months. I would provide a review on how their food is currently, but they never decided to bring it by. Management sucks. They decided to not deliver my order due to traffic. Decided to call them after over an hour and a half, they decided to turn around and not let me know. The manager offered nothing for my inconvenience, other than to remake the food and get it out to us within the next TWO hours. When I asked to cancel the order, I was given attitude and was refused any discount on a future purchase if I decided to go back. If you are going anywhere for mediocre pizza in the area, at least treat yourself to dominos, maybe even the new Pizza Hut location. I'm willing to bet even little Caesar's would provide better service and quality. read more

I am extremely upset with this store. Today I tried to order some pizza and a soda as I am stuck in a hotel room with no vehicle to go get food. Well I called 3 times and got hung up on each time. The fourth time Jack, later to find out the store manager at the time, answers and asked to put me on hold. I say ok. Then they hang up on me. So I tried calling back multiple times and they kept hanging up on me. Finally I called from the hotel phone and Jack answers, says I cussed out his employee, and to stop calling. The only thing I said,to anyone in that store was Jack when I said it was ok to put me on hold. So here is to you jack, you just lost the sale, not only for your store but for all papa John's. If they will allow you to run a store like that I will not do my business with a company like that. read more

There are two issues that I would like to point out. We ordered a thin crust pizza with no sauce and with extra cheese, green bell peppers, and Canadian bacon. The "extra cheese" is a joke. I looked at it when I was picking it up and asked them whether it was with extra cheese because it did not look like it. The cashier called up the person who made the pizza and he explained that they add only half a cup of cheese for extra cheese. This is not right, one can barely feel any cheese, let alone extra cheese. The second issue is that it was absolutely overdone, overly dry, and salty. Covid or not when an order goes from 1.5 hours to 3 hours to be delivered so you call to change it to pick up and not one time is there even an apology. You would think it would be hot because it's taking so long to cook, nope it wasn't even warm. And there were 5 delivery vehicles at the store. 2 hour wait on a Saturday morning at 11:30 is absolutely ridiculous. I placed in online order and was told it would take 1 hour and 45 minutes to be delivered. I cancelled. This is not the first time either. I'm not crazy about the pizza itself but they do deliver and that's suppose to be easier. I have ordered and gotten the wrong pizza. Half of the employees who answer the phone talk so fast you can't understand them. Almost every time we get our pizza it's cold. I'm leaving review now because I won't be going back. Pizza is good, it is usually ready on time. Fair price, lots of coupons and specials. Drive up window is not the best, espesially if tour in a big or or van. Customer service is what it is: Its a chain staffed with kids mostly. Usually polite. read more

I've had Papa Johns for 20 years. It has always been my favorite and I have been outspoken about PJ. HOWEVER, I ordered a large, The Works pizza from this location tonight & I was really disappointed. I ordered the pizza around 4:45 pm which is not a busy time; usually before people eat dinner. The crust was so overdone and tough. The edge crust was quite thin for a pan tossed. The flavor was also funky. I'm just glad I ordered online so at least I get my pizza points. Ordered 3 pizzas for group at work at 6:45pm and asked to be delivered at 9pm. At 9:17pm I called and she said It would be there in 5 min. I exited the building at 9:22pm and waited another 5 min. So 10 min after the 5 min arrival was given, I had to go back in the building because break was over and on the clock. At 9:41 I called again and they said he just left because he waited 15 min. I spoke to manager (Jeff) and he said we don't like taking orders from your building so don't care if your order from us again. Just wondering if the $70 gets put back on the card. Horrible customer service. Younger Kids run the place. Manager name is Trey - young kid and kids will be kids, but is very unprofessional. Was very rude to my family - ?? Weird. got 2 large and one medium pizza for a price of 52 bucks and i swear i could got a better pizza from the freezer over at ingles

I am not one to write a bad review. I've worked in the food industry and customer service. But I have NEVER received as horrible of service as I did at this place. They close at 11:00 pm. I ordered a pizza at 10:30. They said it would be ready at 10:45. I asked them if they were sure (I didn't want to push my limits because I know how working at a restaurant can get annoying with late orders). They confirmed it and I said I would be there soon. I got to Papa John's at 10:45 and realized that their door was locked. I knocked and nobody was in view in the restaurant. Finally a younger guy came out with a mop so I knocked again, and he IGNORED me. I kept knocking, and then a second man came out who also ignored me. Finally a woman showed up and she as well ignored me. I went to the drive thru, thinking that's where I had to be, and they all ignored me there as well. I then called them, to make sure that I had made an order at the correct location, and the phone rang in there and they all rolled their eyes, so I hung up and left. I made a call to corporate and the guy who received my call was very nice, but I did not receive a call back as I was told I was going to. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. read more
