If I could give ZERO stars, I would. Firstly, we waited an hour for 2 pizzas we ordered. The driver was extremely nice, delivered our pizzas. We got inside opened the box WITH A QUALITY SEAL and it was empty!!! Secondly The manager JASMINE made it clear she wasn't able to get the pizza over to us AND apply a credit. Her excuse was "she wasn't cutting/boxing the pizzas". If this is a company standard then maybe she should do her job. So now we will have to wait another hour for our second pizza to be delivered. You work in the service industry during hard times and she wasn't worried about satisfaction of her customers. She was rude and very unprofessional. Her attitude was unbelievable. Lastly when we asked for her to correct this mistake she said she was unable to do both. I will NEVER use papa John's Pizza again. We order from them for all of our get togethers, but with this horrible customer service is unforgettable. I was in this industry for 13 years and I have never witnessed such crappy customer satisfaction. She obviously doesn't value her customers or her quality of business. This will be posted over all over our social media for everyone to see how ridiculous this transaction was handled. The delivery driver was professional, kind, and delivered the pizza as fast as he could, but Thank JASMINE for her poor service..

Service and consideration effing awful. I am still pisssed. I had to place a future order for my daughters for her birthday so she could have pizza with her class. I ordered Nov. 2 at 10am to have it delivered Nov. 7th at 11am because her lunch is at 11:35 and parents we all know these kids have a set lunch time and then need to continue class. How am I going to get an email at 10:37am stating it has been cancelled and no reason stated in it. I called the store and pressed the option for manager and a lady answers "papa johns were closed", i said um ok what time you close, she said were opening at 3pm today. i said ok i placed an order last week why am i getting an email just now that it is cancelled this is for my kids birthday part with her class who has a scheduled lunch at 1135. she said well it mustve not been here because i would have called yesterday to cancel it. i said no i have the email right here with the cancellation with your address. she said again i dont see anything here so it must be the wrong store because i have no record of it. i said thats not possible the confirmation and the cancellation receipt both have #1296 and this address. she said well i dont have anything i would have given you notice yesterday. I said fine bye, she responded mmhm and i hung up. how unprofessional is it to give someone a 20 min heads up that you are cancelling an order. an order placed last week, days in advanced. like my kids is expecting food. her class its at a set time and then they have to continue class. this was so inconsiderate and the lady had no sympathy and was rude. i placed an online order with days in advanced so things like this dont happen and i paid online so it was taken care of. Like i am all for understanding and being considerate with mistakes but damn. my brothers, fiance and parents and friends are all hearing me right now and we have no reason to want to order here or from this location again. i will say I ordered from Mr. Gattis at 10:45am for the same amount of pizzas and helped me get a discount and had it delivered at my kids school by 11:15am so thank god for them and their polite and supportive staff.

Luckily, they offer plenty of other slices, so there's something for just about every preference. I also love that you can mix and match slices to create a colorful, Instagram-worthy spread. It makes the whole experience feel a little more fun. The wine bar inside is another highlight, with a great selection that pairs perfectly with the pizza. I usually end up ordering at least two glasses. There's often a line on Friday and Saturday nights, so be prepared to wait. It helps to have one person grab a seat inside or outside while someone else stays in line.

We waited about 30 mins to place our order abd it took about an hr to receive it. It was a quick easy method to play your order at the booth. Everything is self serve. It was quite hot outside and seats are limited for the indoor a.c at the adjoining bar. The pizza was great when it did come. The pepp and pep was my fave but my husband loved the cheese. I will say the most disappointing thing was the water. We always find it perplexing when a restaurant served seemingly high quality food but provides trash unfiltered water. It makes us really then question the quality of the food.

We paid, got the buzzer for the table, and picked where we wanted to sit with no issues as there weren't very many people there because it was after the lunch rush. My husband ordered the Pepperoni Pizza and I ordered the Fat Queen. The Pepperoni Pizza was good. The Pepperonis were small and tasty. The Fat Queen was just as good. It comes with Pepperoni, Soppressata, and Italian Sausage. I really liked the flavor of all of the meat in the marinara sauce plus the pizza crust is light and fluffy. Overall Pieous is a great place to get some good pizza. The service and pizza were good. I suggest going at an off time that isn't the typical lunch or dinner time.

Make note of their hours as well because they are closed in middle of day. 4-8pm I'm the afternoon does not give a big window to choose your dining time. But the restaurant checks all the boxes. Great ambience. Fun indoor and outdoor seating. Tasty food. Big outdoor space for little ones to play. Convenient location. Decent pricing. The salads are served on big trays which makes sharing easy (even when I didn't really want to share my yummy tossed salad with toasted garbanzo beans and Chunks of fresh mozzarella and a super yummy dressing. The pasta and pizza tasted really good. From an owner of a few pizza places in Houston, I was disappointed in the crispness of the dough. I don't care for pizza that can hold its shape when being held. But if I just told myself it was bread instead- I enjoyed it. It was really the pasta and salad for me. We didn't try too much because we were actually surprised it was open. Many friends mentioned the desserts were to die for. Even Guy on DDD mentioned the caramel rolls were what cinnamon rolls wish they could be. He also LOVED the pastrami sandwiches. So I'd i could do a 1-10 scale I'd give it a 9 for the extra work we had to put in to align with their limited open hours and for the soggy crust. But highest marks on the rest. They also have a room you can rent out in the back or the restaurant and good parking. Next time you want pie- Give pieous a try

I've spent my life chasing the perfect crust, comparing everything from the legendary pie shops in Manhattan to the pristine corner slices in Pittsburgh. I didn't think Austin could pull off truly authentic pizza. I was dead wrong. Baldinucci is absolute sorcery. The moment I took a bite of their Roman-style pizza, I was instantly thrown back to the tiny, narrow pizzerias I stumbled into in Italy. It has that exact, hyper-specific airy crunch that is so incredibly hard to replicate outside of Europe. The dough is clearly fermented with patience. It's light, shatteringly crisp on the bottom, and has those beautiful, irregular air pockets that give it a pillowy structure without ever feeling heavy. Let's talk about the sauce, because that's where most places fail. It isn't that sugary, paste-heavy stuff you find at standard joints. It is vibrant, bright, and tastes intensely of sun-ripened tomatoes and clean olive oil. It is remarkably fresco; striking that perfect balance where the acidity cuts through the richness of the cheese without overwhelming the palate. The vibe inside the West Lake spot is casual and unpretentious, but they take their craft seriously. Food service is streamlined and efficient; you order at the counter, and they pop the slices back into the oven so they land at your table screaming hot. The staff is genuinely proud of what they're slinging, and they should be. If you are an East Coast transplant drowning in a sea of mediocre pies, do yourself a favor and get over to West Lake. It's the real deal. PS: The gelato flavors are also sorcery. However, a review of their gelato is for another time. I must continue to savor the pie for now.

They're especially known for their Roman-style pizza so I highly recommend giving it a try. As for flavors, you really can't go wrong but the standouts for me were the Potato, Chicken Parm and Lasagna slices. They also serve calzones, New York-style pizza, gelato and wine, so there's truly something for everyone. The pizza is priced by the slice, which makes it easy to mix and match like I did, though you can also order a full pie. I will say this definitely isn't cheap pizza, but you're absolutely paying for quality ingredients and incredible flavor. I ended up taking mine to go, but they do have a few tables inside and outside if you want to dine in. With plenty of parking, fast service and mind-blowing flavors what more could you ask for from a pizza spot?
