I'm someone who almost always orders extra cheese but I'm glad I didn't because they load their pizzas up with cheese. The taste was solid, the cheesiness and thickness of the dough slightly reminded me Little Caesar's. The reason for 3 instead 4-5 is because I called in my order and they never made it. So we had to wait a while for them to make it and no apology was offered. Not everyone wants to use DoorDash and the like to place to go orders, especially in a city where there aren't many restaurant options in the first place. I'm not interested in signing up for yet another service I'll hardly use. My next issue is that they didn't have their advertised stuffed crust because they hadn't gotten their order in. So that means the dough isn't made in house, which isn't necessarily a horrible thing but it was unexpected. The business just opened so there are things that (I guess) haven't been worked out on the inside since there were empty pizza boxes just laying on the front counter. There were a couple of tables set up for dining in but you could tell they are still working out the kinks (hopefully). Overall, there aren't many restaurants in Oakland so we're grateful they are taking a chance on a steadily growing city. I'll certainly return to get pizza whenever I'm in the mood and I'm looking forward to trying out their other menu options.

When we arrived, we were able to get a seat right away. The inside was nice and clean. It kind of gives you a vibe of a neighborhood Pizza joint. The service was great and the Pizza was very good. I got the sausage and Italian beef combo. With onion added. The crust was flaky and the Pizza was very flavorful. My wife got the Hawaiian Pizza and she loved it. I don't quite get the whole pineapple on a Pizza, but hey to each his own.... lol.... The salad was very fresh and the ranch was very good. If I had one small thing to complain about, it would be the appetizer cheese curds. They were just okay. It might just be my taste, but the flavor was just little too cheesy and creamy. I would highly recommend if you like Pizza and pasta. This is a place to try. They've been in business for many years. And they've got it down! They also have a full bar. There were 2 parking spaces available when I arrived....success!!! There is a kiosk for you to order from. I would have preferred to order with a person - but ok. Placed my order and could watch them make my food. I ordered a slim pizza and a cinnamon roll. (Pizzas are ordered by size. Slim is a smaller pizza and husky is a larger size). My pizza came out hot and fresh. Sauce to meat and cheese ration was great. I really did like the pizza. Now I am a cinnamon roll aficionado. So there was a high standard to meet here. Unfortunately, they fell very short with the cinnamon roll. It was not fresh and seemed to have been microwaved. It was hard on top and gummy throughout. I asked for a different one. One that was fresh. They were happy to accommodate. Unfortunately, the fresher one was the same way. So the cinnamon roll was a 1 out of 10. But, the pizza was an 8.5 out of 10. Go for the pizza....

The pizza is the best we have tried in the area. Will for sure be ordering our pizzas from here from now on. The garlic knots were great too (I did ask for extra garlicky and added the parmesan cheese on at home). The real deal is how it holds up later, and this crust is just as good sitting on the counter just as it is piping hot fresh out of the oven. It doesn't turn into teeth shattering leather as I've had the pleasure of experiencing with other places. Super friendly folks behind the counter. This place has a couple of tables to sit down and eat at just like at a typical NY pizza joint. Next time, I'll be trying the chicken roll and seeing if it's similar to the ones in Brooklyn. If you're looking for a traditional NY type place, this will be your best bet but the taste of the crust is completely different than back home, just keep that in mind. Still good though.
