If I could give them 0 stars I would. I decided to call and order pickup bc the delivery reviews were so horrible. Worst customer service I've ever had from a pizza place. Had to repeat my order to the lady 5 different times and she still couldn't hear me bc it was "loud there." You could hear the other workers screaming and joking around and once I finally got my order in, I asked how long it would be and she went silent and then after me saying hello she stated "let me go check with them." 100% a POS restaurant as far as service, management & quality of food!! Order online, get 3 different delivery times. Call about food that was not delivered and be told we will send it right out. Yeah, ok 3 weeks later NEVER RECEIVED!! Try and call , FONT WAIST YOUR TIME BECAUSE THEY DONT ANSWER!! Dorr dash driver even told me that she witnessed them drop wings on the floor , pick them up & send them out with another Doordarshan driver!! SERIOUSLY, SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN!!!!! You charge a delivery fee and give an estimated time then " update" it 3-4 times before its actually delivered making it 2.5 times longer than the original delivery time. I needed 8 large pizzas delivered for a training session that was taking place at an establishment and this location did a phenomenal job ensuring they were delivered on time and fresh. Everyone kept saying that it was the best pizza they have ever had from a Papa John's! First, out of the 5 employees I saw working, only 1 was wearing their mask properly. The two making pizzas had their masks under their chins and the two by the register, one I assume is the manager, had their masks under their nose. Also, none of them were wearing gloves and touching their masks, and then touching food items. Second, they gave my food to someone else after they had notified me it was ready so I had to wait even longer and then my food was burnt.. I order door dash at this location at 8pm and was told via the app that my order would be made and delivered by 9pm. I had multiple drivers leave the order because the wait time was too long. I called the store and the manager answered the phone, stating that the order would only be 15 more minutes at 10pm. My dasher proceeded to tell me that the manger stated it would be 15 more minutes at 10:10pm. The manager continuously placed papa johns orders in front of my door dash order for hours. I used to order Papa John's all the time when I lived in Indy, but Anderson's franchise is horrible: long delivery times, poor quality, and my wife has had bad customer service when calling in. Fortunately Anderson has better options: Pizza King, Mancino's, Art's, Nick's, Marco's, Greek's. Papa John should revoke the franchise and let someone else open another store in the Anderson area. This is the only Papa John's in town and they act like it. Called in and asked what the specials were. The kid that answered said the only special was a "Family Pack". Two large pizza's for $22 and change. Good deal. Ordered two, two-topping pizza's and some garlic knots. When I got there to pick it up, the total came to $46.83!! Seems that in order to get the "Family Pack", one of the pizza's had to be a "specialty" pizza. I told the girl that I was not informed of that, and had I been, I'd have ordered a specialty pizza to get the deal price. She just smiled and looked at me like "Sorry about your luck." Don't waste your time or money... I love papa johns pizza and have given this location several, several, chances. I get that they have a huge area and delivery times at long. I don't mind waiting an hour and a half for a pizza delivery. And I don't mind paying the prices... As long as when I get my pizza it's right.. i don't think I've ever had anything delivered that hasn't either had to be replaced or had to have the driver come back because they forgot part of my order. Maybe if they only had to make each delivery once they wouldn't have such long delivery times. Not to mention the staff, especially the managers, are incredibly rude. Gave it a shot again last night, waited an hour and a half for one pizza and order of breadsticks. Pizza was delivered without the 2 liter or the extra sauces we paid for. Waited another 45 minutes for the driver to come back with them. So by the time we got our entire order it was almost 2:30am and everything was cold and very poorly made, pizza was incredibly uneven with a very odd looking crust, half the breadsticks were over cooked and tasted old. Nobody that works here gives a flying flip you're better off spending your money with a company that is willing to do the work to provide you with what you are paying for. read more

I fucking hate this place. My entire family stayed up waiting on pizza and it never arrived. Ordered at 7pm and it is now 10pm with no ETA on arrival. I paid over 60 dollars for this order and have never received anything. I will be filing a charge back and will blast this company any chance I get. I will also make flyers and post them everywhere. I am contacting the regional and also corporate about the health violations I'm sure you have since you can barely cut a pizza, deliver on time and can't even do basic customer service. Papa Johns located across from the Mounds Mallhas to be the worst Papa Johns me as well as my father have ever experienced. I constantly hear stories of this establishment. I never place a review BUT this store has to do something about checking the order to make sure it is right. You can almost count on every order to be wrong. I usually order from dominos or pizza hut because I have so much trouble with your store but every once in a while I try papa johns to see if any thing has changed and after tonight's order I can see it has not. They also charge an extra 3 dollars for delivery and from what I understand it doesn't even go to the driver. I had placed a delivery order online and was told that it was over 2 hour wait time for delivery. No big deal I'll just call and switch it to carry out. It took us 35 min to get someone with out being hung up on. He was very rude. We asked him to switch our order to carry out and we will come by and pick it up. We were told that it would be 2.5 hours to do a carry out! This is insane! You had my order for 35 min already and sure as hell charged my card for it! This place is absolutely horrible. It is too much to even list the number of issues we have had with this location including the driver looking through our window to "see our dogs". They charge a ridiculous amount for add ons that they almost always forget and the management is clearly some poorly educated and trained classless witch. Yelp really needs a zero, or negative star rating. Absolute worst customer service ever!!!! I have been a regular customer at this location for as long as it has existed. Despite the decline in quality over time I still continued my patronage of this place. That ended tonight!!!! I can tolerate sub-par quality, even less than adequate customer service. Like ordering a pizza with every extra cheese option available and still being able to see bare dough throughout most of the pizza. I had come to accept and expect that from here. It is what it is...Cheap pizza, made poorly, with highly variant quality. Not sure what their slogan is, but I'm pretty sure that's not it. But in a pinch it worked. I am typically a very patient, understanding and extremely tolerant person. I get it, you get busy, staffing is insufficient for whatever reason, everyone shows up at once, whatever.... I have been there and believe me, I can empathize. Some context...I placed my online order at around 10:25pm, get email stating ready in 15-25 min, I arrived after stopping to get get gas, pop, and sat in car and waited another 15 minutes or so before going in. Enter est at around 10:50. Time on clock when left 11:39. So total time approx 1hr 14min, Not unreasonable. As prior review says the are great at losing orders and making you wait so I come prepared to wait Anyway, upon entering I see 5-6 people waiting inside and could tell they were clearly in the weeds. Again no big deal...gave guy name, he said "mine was in middle of pack" and would still be another 10-15 minutes. No problem, asked if I could go ahead and pay and began my wait. I stood with the other 5-6 people. None of whom could sit on the lone bench which had been made unavailable by the rolled up floor mat placed on it. 10-15 minutes pass..no pizza yet...cool...I decide to set on the little ledge by the window, check emails on phone, watch a quarter of basketball game, eventually phone dies so I sit patiently, quietly and watch and wait. Others who had clearly been there far longer than I lose patience, ask for refunds, complain about wait, etc. Finally after 30-40 min I heard a wonderful noise....my name was called, so I get up to claim my prize. As I walk toward guy identifying myself as the lucky winner. He walks around and places my boxes on the racks and "poof"...he turns around and disappears back to his area. Alright, no biggie I assume he is not qualified to hand over pizzas. So now I'm waiting again. Literally left standing within arms reach of my food. A girl who I assume was the "manager' because she had moments before emerged from office to deal with another upset customer, clearly saw me, but made no effort to assist me. Eventually I decided I had waited long enough for the official hand off and figured I would help do her job for her and picked my boxes from the rack myself. Well, she finally decided to acknowledge my existence by going off and berating me. Had she done so in anything resembling a polite or professional manner I would have apologized for overstepping my boundaries and having to do her job. I get it, I'm probably not supposed to step that extra foot, reach out my arm and pick up the two boxes I was 100% sure were mine. But her tone was extremely rude, nasty, unprofessional and uncalled for. Had I been complaining or treating her or her co-workers poorly I would have expected or deserved it. But to that point I been beyond patient, overly tolerant, and undeservedly understanding. That was the last straw for me and this place. I plopped my boxes back on counter and said I would like my money back. I told her in very appropriate terms that I did not appreciate how she berated me. As she kept going at me, she was also berating the poor guy who had initially helped me when I arrived. He had actually gone back trying to help organize things, which clearly needed organizing. Maybe had she set foot outside of her office the prior 40 minutes I had been there they may not have been so in the weeds. Or if she were so concerned about me crossing their boundary she could have walked 5 feet over and handed me my order. She continued her one way argument with me, threatened to kick me out ...saying if I had just been nicer she was going to give me my refund and my food for free. I said I just wanted the refund and I would be gone. At this point I was quite frankly no longer in the mood for the food or attitude. She put my money on boxes and shoved them back at me. I took the money, told her to keep the food. As I walked out she kept up the spiteful comments "thank you", "have a good evening", "hope you come again" which were very insincerely delivered.You won't have to worry about the last one. There are plenty of other choices with far less chance of being berated for my patient, loyal patronage.....On a related note I have 7-8 full free pizza carryout cards if anyone wants them! And about 100 or so rewards points that will go to waste. read more

Yesterday afternoon I ordered 2 pizzas from there around 1:30pm and talked to the RUDEST person ever, hateful as can be and after repeating myself about a million times I thought maybe she would have had my order right. my eta was 90mins... I get it they may have been busy.. but my pizza didn't show up until about 5:00pm after I had called and complained. they said they were going to make me 2 new ones because the lady put the wrong address in and the driver "took my pizza to another house" he finally showed up after I got off the phone with my 2 cold, sloppy, gross pizzas and NO RECEIPT..
