I have been going to papa George's since I was a child. Yesterday I drove in from another state to get treated from my family for my birthday. I didn't look at the pizza till I got home. My whole family could not believe this pizza was from papa George's. It wasn't cut in there traditional squares. The onions were diced red not the thinly sliced yellow. The peppers had a freezer taste to them. I did call, the man that answered said he was the owner. He said to me he just bought the place 3 months ago and there are plenty of other pizza places. Ive never had anything but the house special pizza (large) and its a feast, Not like just any pizza, the genius is the copious amount of toppings is atop the cheese and sauce, the seasoned ground beef finely complementing the veggies and other sliced meats with the melty cheese underneath never to be crusted on top by Father Time. Light crispy crust and mild tasty sauce hold up this Greek-style work of food art up like the Athenian Colusseum. Not open on Sunday, which is fine I just will never go to Worcester on Sundays. Today I ordered an Italian sub toasted with everything on it, which was much better than subway and completely fresh. Even though it is a small place on the corner of the street it truly is an amazing community to be welcomed by. As soon as you walk in, the place is clean and organized. You're greeted by the owners, who ask you how's your day and what's your order. You can tell that these people actually enjoy their job, and as a family and locally owned business you can tell that this food is made authentically from the heart ( and fresh food sources of course!). 100% recomend for those looking for a pizza for parties, late night fridays, or for any occasion! read more

This place is awesome. I grew up down the street from this place and when I was little my friends and I would always get pizza from here. I still stop by when ever I am in the area. It is tough since I moved to CA. I recommend the marinated chicken grinder. It is absolutely one of the best grinders in the area. I've been coming here since I was 20 years old and now I am 32 years old. I moved out of state for 9 years and I just recently came back to visit my parents. The first thing that popped up on my head was Papa George's steak and cheese. I came here tonight and it was still the same looking restaurant as how I first came here 12 years ago. I ordered the usual, steak and cheese with onions and mayo. A large side of fries and their chicken tenders. The steak and cheese still taste as good as how it was the first time that I came here. It's not greasy or oily at all. It has a ton of flavored. The best steak and cheese in town. They chicken tenders are really good too. Totally changed my view. I feel like they totally changed their ingredients. The pizza went from dogshit to some of the best In the city. Chicken Cutlet sammiches are also great. Only problem I still have is that 90% of their customers are idiots that park, literally, in the middle of the road. So damn frustrating.
