For example, There were two ceiling fans that makes weird squeaking noises in the house. After we reported the issue they immediately contacted the property owner and brought two brand new fans for installation. No hassle, no extra charge, no back and forth arguments. When discrepancies were addressed, communication was either dismissive and vague or lacking accountability. There also seems to be frequent misinformation regarding policies and guidance, which has caused avoidable confusion and stress. Mistakes, intentional or not, still carry real financial consequences for residents. Management run in this manner is, frankly, embarrassing for a company responsible for housing and resident support. It's baffling how little basic competence is required here. Common sense would dictate that if you're going to manage housing and take people's money, you need to understand your own lease, communicate clearly, and treat your tenants with respect. Hometeam Properties fails on all of those fronts. If you're considering signing a lease here, be extremely cautious. Whether intentional or not, the current management system seems designed to mislead and take advantage of its residents.
